I have been a patient of Rakshanis since I was a teen for about 6 years but stopped going to her in the last year and found a much more receptive caring obgyn and office staff. LET ME STAR BY SAYING — Jenifer has worked for her Forever at the Front desk and I AM SO HAPPY I NO LONGER GO THERE AND HAVE TO DEAL WITH HER RUDE MISERABLE SELF. Rakshani should retire and do us all a favor.
I cant believe I dealt with the stress of this office and getting my perscriptions called in and my questions not being answered and having wrong perscriptions called in or ones that didnt work with my insurance after I speciafically ask for a generic letting them know I didnt want to pay $ 130 every month for birth control .
Do yourself a favor dont waste your time with this rude outdated practice.

I don’t recommend this doctor. If you’re looking for someone to do your annual check ups, she’s the doctor for you. But if you ever have pain or a simple question, you won’t get an appointment or even a call back. I was with Dr Rakhshani for about 5 years and twice I had pain and wanted to see her. Both times I wasn’t given an appointment and was told to go to the emergency room or urgent care. Her front desk girl Jennifer is horrible and speaks in a monotone voice like a robot. She shows zero compassion. I was so frustrated with this office that I have now changed my doctor and I’m much happier. I actually get my questions answered and the front desk is very helpful.

In 1996, Dr Rakshani saved my life. I went to the ER with a distended abdomen and in such incredible pain that I was passing out intermittently! No one knew what the problem was… so the doctors put me on a morphine drip. I met Dr Rakshani when she came on duty at FVMC ER… she quickly and calmly figured out that I was bleeding internally, from a ruptured ovarian cyst. She had me in surgery right away and when I woke up… I decided Dr Rakshani was going to be my doctor for the rest of my life. Over the next 20 years, Dr Rakshani delivered my wonderful little girl, helped me through several stressful situations and recently helped me through menopause. She really sees me as a whole person. She understands exactly how stress affects my health. She is an amazing doctor that consistently identifies issues that no other doctors have been able to see. I trust her with my life and the life of my daughter.
