Let me start by saying this was one of the BEST experience getting a vehicle. We came in with looking to trade in our Honda Element to a more family friendly vehicle-(Mazda Cx-​9) for our new baby. I’ve had my fair share of dealerships, my brother likes to get new cars almost every year to every other for the past 10 years and you get the same kind of sales men trying to convince you to get the car as to Tim who lets you comfortably decide on your own and is very easy going and trustworthy. We were literally in for under an hour & walked out happy and satisfied with the choice we made coming here. A great deal 3 year warranty Like I said a very pleasant experience.
To think it started out with looking online one night and the next night driving it. It was like a dream come true. I guess it helps having some great credit too. Newport coast auto is AMAZING We can’t thank Tim enough!

I just purchased a BMW 335i from them. They were extremely helpful and fair. I have bought a number of cars in the past and have had a wide variety of experiences: from pleasant to absolute nightmares. Tim and kino were both very professional understanding, and easy to work with. I was able to complete the sale within about an hour and a half and was on my way. I am actually tempted to go back and buy another car from them. That never happens to me. Once the deal is closed, I MoveOn and in this particular instance I would be happy to establish a long-​term relationship with this organization. Well done gentlemen!

So I was in the market for a new Mercedes CLS or BMW M6. I found a custom Benz from Newport Coast Auto Sales, and it looked AMAZING. Love at first sight. What I really liked is the wealth of details listed on their website. The description listed the CarFax, 74 pictures, and every single option available on the car. If it wasn’t listed, it didn’t exist.
My only problem is, I’m from Texas. I never bought a car from another state, but I had to have this one. I immediately emailed Newport Coast Auto and Tim responded within a hour. I grilled Tim on everything possible: Cost, History, Condition, Shipping, Warranty, Features, etc. Over 100 emails were exchanged and he ALWAYS and I do mean ALWAYS responded on time and with honest answers. I know I was very picky and probably annoying, but he was patient and kind.
Not only did he match the price, but he got me an INCREDIBLE financing option. He overnighted the papers — I signed and the car was shipped a couple of days later.
Even when the car was shipped I hassled him everyday on where my car was (although he told me 3 days). Day four came and BOOM, my car is here in Austin.
I am a stickler for detail and this car was in damn near perfect condition; even being three years old. A week after getting the car, Tim and Christy personally sent me the spare keys, owners manual, and copies of paperwork.
Even living in Texas, from now on I will never buy a car from anyone else but Tim. I never had a better experience with anyone else. He has my trust and loyalty.

What a great experience — I recently sold my Lotus to Paul at Newport Coast Auto and I can’t be more positive. Paul and his team share an enthusiasm for great sports cars and understand how important relationships are. They were professional in every aspect, honest and fair. I’ll be back, no question about it!

What can I say… I bought my first Porsche ever from Paul about 3 years ago and from that time I told myself that I would buy every car from him from that point out. From a red matte 996, he and his fabulous team (Chris, Tim, Christy) have done it again. I am now in this amazing matte white Turbo which in essence is my dream car. their team really do make dreams turn into reality. Thx you for believing me in and going to bat for me when most wouldn’t. That’s true service. See you in a few years when I have an «itch» for a Turbo S!

First of all, let me preface the fact that I have zero car buying experience. Second, I don’t have the best credit and third, my mother can be quite difficult when it comes to negotiation (sorry Paul). But now that I have purchased my BMW from Newport Coast Auto, I expect every car buying experience to be as top notch as it was purchasing my beauty from Paul and his team. Prior to coming to this location I was sold every car, make and model by some of the sketchiest car salesmen Orange County could offer. My search for a new car quickly felt like a nightmare until I stumbled upon this little gem of a dealership.
Tim was the first guy I met when I arrived and he was very kind and professional. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable. They have an incredible inventory and I can tell that they really take their time and effort to really put the best product out there. They won’t put crap cars on that lot and I really appreciated that.
Paul was the guy who took care of all the paperwork and was an angel — considering how difficult my mother was. They really worked with my credit and I think I tested their patience too but all in all it was a win-​win situation. I walked away with a beautiful 328i BMW coupe! Thanks Paul! I will send all my peeps your way;)

I recently picked up a classic and incredibly clean BMW from Paul at Newport Coast Auto. I went down to his dealership and checked out his wild selection of everything from a Vespa to a Convertible Ferrari. Neither fit my taste *cough cough*… Didn’t take long to lock on to a one-​of-​a-​kind beaut… An 88 BMW. She’s in great shape with low miles. I even got a killer deal and financing. Everyone was super nice and friendly and the place has the small business vibe that I dig. I feel much better buying a performance European car from a reputable dealer then some sketchy back alley Craigslist salesman. Anyone who has paid for repairs on these kinds of cars understands. Definitely worth checking out.

By far the easiest, fastest and most satisfying car buying experience I’ve ever had! Tim is the best. He completely understands the customer and doesn’t play games. I came to him with what I thought was going to be a near impossible deal and he made it happen! I’m very impressed. They have the nicest inventory of cars you’ll ever see and the entire staff is awesome. Paul was really cool too! It doesn’t feel like you’re around salesmen but rather friends! Thanks for the BMW guys!

After my son did all this research on which car he wanted to buy we choose Newport Coast Auto not only for the car, but the reputation that Newport Coast Auto. If they have a car I want the next time I will be getting it from them. Also we drove 178 miles to get the car.

Always trust your first instinct.
After doing my research I settled on a 08 – 11 Nissan Altima Hybrid. My local credit union happened to be in Santa Ana and Newport Coast Auto happened to be the closest dealership with one in stock. So after applying for a loan at my credit union, I headed over just to see if it drove like the reviews said it did. I had no intention of purchasing at this time. And at the time I didn’t even know the price as the ad just said call for price.
I show up and Tim was in the office. I called ahead so I when I got there the car was already pulled out up front for me to see. Tim showed me the car and immediately pointed out a couple, very, very minimal flaws. He was very apologetic about this and promised to have them fixed. If he hadn’t told me, I probably wouldn’t have noticed it; I really appreciate that kind of straightforward honesty. So after answering a couple q’s that I had, he said it was time for a test drive. He handed me the key, pointed out where pch was, and said just to come back before the fight started because he’d be gone by then. I can’t tell you how cool this was and it really let me get a feel for the car. His way of letting the car speak for itself.
So I get back and I am in love with the car. I ask about the financing options. I tell Tim I have bad credit, like 568 bad. He says no problem. He can beat my credit union’s rate. I just have to put the standard 10% down. I ask the price and he says 16,000. But if I want to take it today with all the «flaws» it will be 15,000. I play it cool, but that’s WAY lower than they should be offering. I wanted to sign my truck, watch, and clothes over to get this car at this point; but common sense takes over and if it’s too good to be true it prolly is right.
So I tell him I got some other test drives lined up. He says no problem, and to give him a call if I change my mind. After a weekend of having cars bought out from under me, test driving crappy Altimas, and getting almost getting swindled by crappier salesmen, I give Tim a call.
Long story short, I got the car I wanted at a GREAT deal, got financed at over 5 points LOWER than my credit union of 10 years — with whom I had my other loan with. Paul made sure any remaining questions I had were answered and explained everything in detail. O btw I got the cars «flaws» fixed with no extra charge.

Paul and Tim are both very nice and helpful. And the conditions of their cars are really amazing. This is the first dealer I visited. Then I continued to see other cars at other dealers. But finally I found that there is not anyone with condition good as the 328i I saw at Newport Coast Auto. And the price is also higher. If you focus more on quality instead of price, choose NCA.

I’ve bought so many cars in my life and have to admit this is by far the easiest experience I’ve encountered. I did a search for a Porsche and came across their website. I called late evening and spoke to Tim, next day negotiated with Paul on my trade in and he gave me top dollar for my car. He also got me financed for a super low interest rate. So I came in and purchased my new baby, 2012 Porsche 911.

Pros:
But the 5 stars are for great buying car experience. Tim made it easy and straight forward to us. Even though we did not get it finance or buying any warranty and he’s not pushing it. I mean to me the number he provides me about those extra services doesn’t make any sense, but I still like the way he works, straight forward.
I’ve been tiring of giving 1 star reviews on about 8 different dealers to search for a new Audi A6 and Tim closed it nicely. Well-​done. If you are a type of buyer who no matter what dying to get a discount then this might not be the place for you to shop. Here, the price is fair, he doesn’t mark the price up unreasonably and still have a certain amount of benefit. I did not get any dollar off but I’m still happy about the car. The dealer is small and friendly, since you don’t feel like fish in the ocean of cars and sale person. Here you are treated as a Premium Business Class Lounge. Lots of attractive cars they have on their lot too. Wish I could just get them all.
To be fair here are the Cons:
1. I don’t get a single dollar discount when I pay 40 grants for the car. Oops, I think a $ 500 off would make me feel better as a win-​win situation between seller and buyer.
2. Tim is too good to negotiate with. My mouth got shut whenever I tried to pull out some reason to ask for some discount.
3. Your hoodie doesn’t look well on the job.
Conclusion: I don’t really have any complain on my car buying experience except 2 things you owe me Tim, a full tank of gas and a full detail for the car. I will remove these things when you do those for me.

This place is amazing! Had a bad taste in my mouth as first time buyer with a different dealership. Spoke to Paul on a Friday and had an approval by Saturday! The process was fast and easy. Patterson was very helpful and friendly as well. I recommend this place to anyone looking for their new car!!!

The owners are so friendly and ready to help. Car selection is incredible, and most of the cars are custom. They worked with me over the course of a week to get exactly what I wanted. This was almost three years ago, and I still love the car. It runs like a champ!

They say 3^rd times a charm and they are spot on! Recently bought another car… my 3^rd with this dealership. Matte black mini and I’m absolutely in LOVE with it!!! I get so much attention in it ;)
I still have my Range Rover (that I purchased last year from NCA) and I love that if I have any questions or issues, Paul is always right there for me. This is the best dealership and I will never go anywhere else. Honesty and integrity is their policy and that means everything to me.

When I called this dealership on Sunday around 4:30PM, I just wanted to leave a message and stop by on some other day. While Paul picked up the phone and told me the car was available immediately. I rushed to the dealership and got a warm welcome from Paul. He’s with me for the test driving and he showed me an amazing route all the way along the sea. After all of this, no one can say NO to the car any more.
The whole process is amazing and I really enjoy it. Paul and July are really humorous and helpful. You should take a look at the dealership since it is really worth it.

I don’t normally write reviews unless I am compelled by a genuinely good (or bad) experience and it’s important for the world to know that the team (Paul, Justin, and Christy) at NCA is top notch. If I had to describe Paul in three words, it would be: honest, transparent, and courteous.
So, the context for my review is both for a purchase and sale. I purchased a car from Paul in 2009 and just recently sold another car through Paul. I was a little bit wary about my purchase because it was my first time buying a really high end car. But my experience with the car was fantastic. No problems, no issues, looked amazing, and the price was very reasonable (hey look, it’s a business… everyone’s gotta win). While I won’t give away my negotiating secrets I can say that Paul was very open and transparent about the purchasing process. He’s not there to rip you off. He wants you to have a good experience with a fair sale because he knows that building a long term relationship is the key to his longevity.
The sale was also very easy with Paul. I live in LA so all of the paperwork was handled via mail. He gave detailed instructions on what to sign/​keep, handled all of the paperwork. It was a breeze. He was prompt with all of the communication, transparent with how the sale would break down cost wise, and just upfront about the entire process. And he got me a VERY good price for my car (better than what I could have done on my own). I am immensely grateful for that.
Paul has an excellent platform for buying and selling vehicles so I will likely go to him for all of my future sales. Also, if you are in the market for high end cars that are in really good shape, he’s definitely worth a look. I check his website out all the time (even when I’m not in the market for a car) and I refer him to all of my friends.
I think that 90% of the anxiety that people face during the car buying/​selling process is attributed to a lack of trust between the buyer and seller. And that lack of trust is based on a mentality that the less you communicate between the parties, the better of an ‘edge’ you can get in the deal making process. Paul is absolutely none of these things. He cares about his customers and invests the time and energy in making sure they are HAPPY.
I think that in a typical dealership, the perception is that the house always wins but at NCA, Paul makes sure that EVERYBODY WINS. And that’s built on honesty, transparency, and courtesy.

Even though I didn’t buy a car here, i just recently went with a friend (for moral support) who was shopping for a 2007 – 2008 5 Series BMW… I felt compelled to write this review because the impression this place left on me (and her :) The Service is top notch and professional.
Paul (the guy that helped us) was super cool and very attentive to her needs. We were in and out of the place which seemed like what took more was the «post sale» paperwork, but that’s understandable. One of the things i also noticed about the place in general was that, all their vehicles on the lot are desirable models, kept clean and well maintained. Heck, i even saw a nice Audi S4 calling my name ha. I believe that reflects part of the values this place shows. I appreciated that.
I’ve owned several cars in my adult life and will definitely be coming back to this place to shop for our next car. (sorry we never buy new) Used and well maintained is the way to go in my book :)
