Came in for my regularly scheduled check-​up and cleaning
they found a cavity and I was in the next day
no pain, just a quick and efficient repair to my tooth and I was very happy

im dissapointed! 220.00 for some xrays and the RUN AROUND.
dentist would not look me in the eye when telling me the lies.
i was hoping to be able to get a huge filling done and a temporary crown done right away but he would not do it.[i doubt this office was booked all day so? this matter needed attn right away and the dentist could have done it and i had 1000 dollars even to spend. not ez to save when on medicare
i explained this over the phone b4 making appt and they made it sound like yes, no worries .we will take care of all the important stuff right away .yeah right… important for them, not me
did not even want to give me a script for some anti biotics for two abcessed [maybe more]molars. he tells me not today! …
was not interested in my concerns with gum disease , didnt say one word about the missing bicuspid and my tmj issues either.[more4 $$$ surprises for later
the website says emphasis on oral surgery etc, fancy website all about root canals and procedures etc etc
dentist tells me i need to go elsewhere for the root canals. damn! i want one person to do the work … period ! runaround! website info is deceptive and misleading .
in all fairness this guy is probably a great dentist but hes for rich people…
i walked away today with a lot of pain and this guy didnt seem to care.
oh well just another medicare case that will have a heart attack or stroke soon seemed to be the vibe .i agree no money in it for him to write a script for antibiotics do one huge filling[questionable, prob a root canal+crown later] and he just lied] and at least put a temporay cap on my dead nerve molar. if the dentist figured i wouldnt be back he figured right.
i have chest pain two earaches and a face that feels like i have been hit with a baseball bat! nothin wrong today ehhh? nothin except no big money for him today or next time
the prices are steep! 300+ for a fillings? 1300+ for crowns? he isnt even going to do in his own lab? and thats aftter 2 root canals done by some one else?[more lies and hidden costs] i did call the referral endodontist same day and got the same crap. sky high cost and evasive to questions.
i did tell the receptionist i was dissaointed and insisted the doc at least give me some anti biotics .well they did but didnt want to why?
probably cause they knew i was right and they didnt want a lawsuit or chargeback. I tHOUGHT ABOUT IT!
all i wanted was the truth but didnt get it .
this guy knows damn well 20k in dental work wont last on my mouth in my lifetime but he tried anyway. perhaps he figured i could scrape up another 20 or 30 k for periodontal work after i was all fixed up .
i could go to santa ana right now for a free exam and get a filling and a temporary crown done right away for less than 500.00
before i get septis if i dont already have it im considering just getting extractions elsewhere .cost? 75.00 ea
maybe the office will forward my xrays uh uh … for 300.00?
real humanitarian here ! animals get treated better

While on a roadtrip from NYC to deliver a friend to her new home in Costa Mesa, I started to experience some extreme pain in one of my teeth. So my first stop (on my first ever visit) in California was the dentist. I found Dr. Spitzer on Unilocal and they were able to take me right away. I could barely speak and half my face was swollen but everyone in that office was so amazing, I couldn’t help but want to talk and joke around with them. I was so impressed with how friendly and welcoming the entire staff was — absolutely the best dental office experience I’ve ever had! I wish I lived nearby so I could go there regularly! Dr. Spitzer also recommended me to the best endodontist I’ve ever been to, so I guess I’ll just have to fly to Orange County the next time I need dental work! Thank you!

My husband had a broken a tooth.
Needing a dentist ASAP! Not to mention I am very particular when it comes to doctors. We are new to the area, and this has been challenging.
I had to wake up and make calls. (I had a call list of 3 doctors, after hours of reading reviews the night before.)
I broke it down.
1. Phone call to office staff very pleasant. (5 star) thank you Mona for taking us with our crazy schedule :)
2. «3″ different teeth needed work. (Done!) all finished except for one permanent crown. My husband is not one to do multiple trips. The fact that he could accomadate my husband last minute, and spend 3 hours on repairs, on a Monday left us very grateful.
3. State of the art office. Television, and ear phones! If that was me, that would be huge!
4. Chair side manner. Also 5 star. My husband was impressed. Really left with high regard for the doctor and his staff.
4. The doctor is an artist! Wow» the teeth are beautiful! I look forward to having this man create beautiful smiles for both of us. Also he was gentle, and good with the needles!,
Dentistry is never cheap, so when you are spending $$$ its important to know we are getting what we pay for, with out feeling cheated!
I ‘ll keep ya updated on how everything else pans out. I believe in Unilocaling, it has helped me in many ways. I am so on to people that are creating BS Unilocal reviews. I would never do that!
The ultimate review will be when I get worked on. Haha, I’m a BIG baby. I have dentist issues, and usually require the gas! But after seeing how my husband came home, I feel pretty confident when my next cleaning comes around. I think we may have found our family dentist!

I had to do some fillings, again (chocolate has not been kind to my teeth). But this time I just had a second child and my body’s reaction to dental work as changed. Even I didn’t know how it has changed until today.
At first, I felt embarrassed that I couldn’t handle a normal routine filling like I did in the past. But Dr. Spitzer and his assistant were so professional, kind, and patient. He took his time and explained what I experienced was normal and not out of the ordinary. It’s very comforting to know that I wasn’t going crazy. The procedures were done painless and quick. Even now after all the anesthesia has worn off, I’m feeling great. How many people can say that after getting 3 fillings all at once?
I also ran into Ashley, my favorite dental hygienist, and she remembered me when I walked by! That’s so awesome! It’s nice to be remembered.
Dr. Spitzer’s office is the BEST place to get dental work done. I hope he doesn’t plan to retire any time soon because I got 2 girls that love chocolate too.

After having multiple people tell me wonderful things about Dr. Spitzer, I decided to make the switch and I have been going to Dr. Spitzer for about 2 years now. My first impression was how technologically advanced this place was. Never seen anything like it… Everything from the instant xrays and photos you can see on these computer screens on your chair, to the plasma’s on the ceiling, to the level of expertise and care. This is top of the line dentistry.

This is a first time in my life I had a good experience at the Dentist. I HATE going to the Dentist. Finally I met a Dentist of my dream. Not only the Dr. Spitzer is a good listner and really cares about the patients needs. Very clean office. New technology state of the art equipment. Office staff is very friendly and fuzzy and warm. The best DENTIST and office around! TV’s in the ceiling while you’re worked on, a chair that massages you while you’re worked on, friendly staff and great interior décor that doesn’t make you feel like you’re getting your teeth cleaned in 1982!

After going to the same dentist almost all of my life, and being very unwilling to try someone new when I moved, I had no idea dentistry had evolved so much until I paid a visit to Dr. Spitzer. Wow! Who knew a trip to the dentist could be like this?
He has state of the art equipment, a phenomenal staff, and is just a nice person who knows what he’s doing. He talks you through the entire process and lets you zone out to the plasma on the ceiling while he pokes around in your mouth.
I wouldn’t say I look forward to a trip to the dentist now, but I certainly don’t dread it. Dr. Spitzer’s office has managed to make it an almost enjoyable experience.

The hygenists here are great and do a wonderful job.
