Update from my previous post:
I returned to MPD on August 31 to check out bed frames and mattresses for my master room. I had already shopped around a few other local places but had zero luck in finding anything remotely worth purchasing.
I was again greeted by a gentleman named Zai and told him exactly what I was looking for. We looked around a few items and he would honestly tell me what may or may not work for my room. I appreciated the honesty.
After about 30 minutes of looking, I came across a Marge Carson bed unit that features a pretty fancy and clean looking panel, along with matching night stands. It was love at first sight.
I had no idea MPD also sells mattress, and Zai let me check out the mattress around the entire floor. They are kind of hidden but I made it clear I was over the shopping around for things and just wanted to buy everything in one stop. We eventually came across a Airloom mattress that had the perfect level of firmness for my comfort levels.
Overall, the experience was A-​class. I made the purchase and can’t wait for the items to be delivered. Quick note about a few prior review regarding price.
One last thing to mention: I see one or two people on here complaining about price… I guess unreasonable expectations like that get real when people get too used to shopping at crummy places like Ikea or Living Spaces. This place on the other hand is for the finer things in life. LOL.

Yet another amazing delivery of beautiful, quality furniture and I couldn’t be happier. My new bed is beyond beautiful and unique. The nightstands are perfect too. The recliners are the most comfy chairs I’ve ever sat in… leather feels like butter. MP sells only the best quality furniture. Delivery was perfect, respectful, on time and stress free.

Even though I knew that many of their articles were sometime 3 and 4 times higher than I had seen elsewhere, I was drawn in by some of their unique designs. During the process there was always a problem or something I wanted was discontinued and I would have to start my selections over. They were careful with the delivery and most things looked very nice. But not as nice as they cost. I had them out to fix very expensive drapes that did not hang correctly. The man who made them told me the extremely expensive material that my decorator helped me pick out was not suitable for drapes. It would have been nice to hear that before I was stuck with a huge bill. While they were trying to make them lay appropriate they pulled some of the hooks loose which I did not notice until a little later. When I called the store to have them correct the mistake they made I was given a story that they had to pay extra for them to come out the one time and they NEVER came back or returned my calls again. Also, their flower arrangements that are astronomically priced, was to have a change in one of them I got. I have made 3 calls to my decorator and never get a return phone call. I am very disappointed in the store and the service. I would advise anyone making a purchase here not to pay in full until all your request are totally filled. I trusted them and got taken.

This store is stylish and fabulous; the staffs are accommodating and well-​mannered. For everything else, the pain and suffering begins when you hand over that check with your name signed on the bottom line.
As soon as you walk through the door, you will be overwhelmed by the lavish showroom. Everything looking fantastic and glorious. The sales team are very attentive and polite. Phone called are answered properly and communication is flawless. However, if you are labeled to be an onlooker, expect a quick cold shoulder.
As far as the «design» goes, it’s pretty niche. Marc and his assistant showed up on time. They were very professional and they show great enthusiasm when facing difficult situations. Marc came up with a few alternatives and plans for our furnishing needs. However, make no mistake, time is money and he is all about that cash. Unless you have a $ 100 000 budget, don’t expect to get plan B and multiple do-​overs.
Everything that’s on display in the showroom can be bought elsewhere for cheaper. Named brands such as Maitland-​Smith, Marge Carson, and Theodore Alexander goes for around 33%-50% off MSRP in other stores. Whilst in MPD, they are charging 15%-25% off MSRP on the exact items when they are not on sale. The bill racks up quickly with furniture costing in the thousands. Perhaps the $ 30 000 dining set is not for everyone, but trying to charge $ 595 for spraying scotchgard on the sofa is definitely not my cup of tea.
Furniture assembly is terribad. Parts were left with loose screws inside drawers. Some furniture came without proper installation; some got parts bolted on up-​side-​down; some came without installation at all. For more info, please check out the pictures section.
Delivery came inexperienced and incompetent. They had to scratch the initial delivery date and re book on a weekday. One of the bros can’t lift 60 pounds for 60 seconds straight without taking a breather. Along with the furniture came the bumps on the walls, doors, and hallways. To get a 32×40×100 sofa piece into the living room, the two guys refused to go through two 75×50 screen-​doors. Instead they tried to squeeze it through a 70×35 sidedoor, damaged the door frame and the floor with all the twists and turns. No protectors were used in the process.
So to sum it up, spend your money wisely, otherwise you might end up looking like a fool like me. I definitely learned my lesson here.
P. S. MPD took the house blueprints — and at this point after five calls — I don’t expect to get them back again.

I was so amazed by this store. They have exquisite furniture, very high end, and incredibly beautiful.
I had an opportunity to meet Marc, the owner and he is really nice. His staff is also friendly.
I would recommend this furniture store if you’re looking to find a special piece (s) for your house. The sales associates are not aggressive nor pushes, however, they are close by if you have any questions about an item.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Marc also does at home consulting to assist with any decorating needs. Great guy!

This store is one of the best out there. They have a wonderful assortment, a knowledgeable staff, and great delivery service.
Although the outside looks intimidating, we were pleasantly surprised to find that there was more affordable stuff than the OUTRAGEOUSLY BEAUTIFUL things shown in the window. My parents were able to select a nice bed set priced to their budget and also a family room sofa set that was MADE IN USA. Priced well and still of a higher quality, we were very happy with what we got for how much we had to spend.
The staff was knowledgeable and showed up many options (including those that were out of our price range). Nevertheless, we appreciated the democratic service and eventually found something that fit in our budget and also the sales manager knocked off a few hundred off the price to make my mom happy too. Overall, not pushy and fair.
Lastly, the delivery service was great too. They showed up in the time frame given and assembled the bed set and brought in the sofa set pristine as we had seen it in the showroom.
We like this showroom and being able to get the furniture right away. They have something for everyone, but don’t expect shotty quality. You get what you pay for especially when it comes to furniture.

This is an incredible furniture store. The owner is a great guy and staff is really friendly. Marc even drove all the way to LA to measure my space and make recommendations. This was especially important to me since I purchased a sectional from the other furniture store and when it arrived I realized that it was too small and the color wasn’t as nice as I had hoped. And since it was a special order, I had no choice but to donate my new sectional.
Marc then showed me the furniture at his store that he felt went well with my home. When the furniture was delivered, Marc was there with extra pieces and rugs just in case it works with my new furniture. I ended up purchasing everything he brought since it went so well with my new home. The prices were very reasonable and very competitive with my local furniture store that never offered to make a complementary visit to my home.
Marc is an exceptional designer and I couldn’t be any happier with my new furniture.

My husband and I have been residents of Orange County for over 20 years, this year our youngest child went away to college finally we are able to remodel and furnish our home like we’ve always dream of.
We began by shopping the usual store with good reputations. We had a good idea of what we wanted and saw nice things and were treated pretty good. Having heard of Marc Pridmore Designs through one of the local magazines we stopped in to check them out over the weekend.
WOW we were pleasantly surprised! This is it, this is exactly how we wanted our house to look. As much as we saw nice things in other stores, it began to all look cookie cutter. Marc Pridmore Designs was not, this store was beautiful, they really took the guest work out of putting a home together. The store was spacious, well light and extremely clean that could eat off the floors.
We were greeted in a professional matter and were told about the stores background and what they had to offer. The designer that greeted us was not only professional but also made us feel comfortable immediately. At that point we began to go over what rooms we wanted to furnish and they began to give us some suggestions. That afternoon with their help we selected exactly what we wanted for all of our rooms.
Another pleasant surprise is that we also selected drapery and mattresses too!!!
All that i can tell you as my children would say is «This place was awesome!»
Surprisedly, it all fit into our budget.

My husband and I just recently remodeled our home, and were referred by a friend of ours that lives in the area about this place, and how «unique» and «high quality» their products and designs were. Last week we had decided to stop by to check out a few new things for our home.
Our experience was far from everything we had heard about. First off we had walked in and were not greeted by anyone! You would think for the prices they were asking for they’d be able to at least greet us. As we were walking around until several minutes later a woman had asked if we were being helped. That same woman who was helping us didn’t really want to give us her the time of day. She wasn’t very much of a help at all. We had felt like we were constantly being rushed to buy something, like our time with her was not worth it to her if we weren’t buying something immediately that day. In my opinion it was very unprofessional…
AND THE SAGA CONTINUES…
Later my husband had brought to my attention that they had the same sofa, rug, and coffee table that we had purchased about a year ago from different furniture store. I had taken pictures and compared their design and the picture of the furniture store I had previously bought them from design and they were completely identical! Even down to the same flowers on the coffee table! The only thing that wasn’t identical was the price, each item was marked up 2 times the amount that I had purchased them for!
Its honestly a wonder how this place even stays in business. Please reconsider taking your business somewhere else, other than Marc Pridmore Designs, I hate for anyone to experience what my husband and I had to go through. They’ve certainly lost our business as a future customer.

my wife Chris and I redecorated our Master BDRM and couldnt be happier. The quality of the furniture is outstanding, pricing is competitive. The delivery crew very professional, placed padding on the stairs banisters. Not a scratch on anything.
Overall very pleased with this transaction, would recommend to everyone.

Marc Pridmore Designs should come with a warning sign because this showroom is beyond captivating! There’s no denying it’s a fest of beautiful, well made furniture from a multitude of vendors.
Although the showroom is 42,000 sq ft, it wasn’t overwhelming nor overly designed like other fine furniture stores.
There’s no end to the amazing pieces in the showroom ranging from sofas, chandlers, home accessories, draperies, rugs, and one of a kind paintings. If you’re a guy, you’ll unquestionably love the «man cave» and theater.
This showroom is literally a one stop place to shop to turn your home into a virtual spread in Veranda or Better Homes & Garden.
All the sales associates were super nice and knowledgeable of all the products in the showroom. Moreover, they didn’t try to push me to buy anything that didn’t suit my lifestyle or aesthetics. I was even offered a complimentary personalized in-​home consultation with Marc to get a professional’s perspective to enhance my home’s interior.
Visiting Marc Pridmore Designs was an inspiration for me to turning my home into the upmost potential meant for appreciating and living. I would recommend this showroom to all who loves everything enchantingly beautiful.

My friend and I attended their launch party and got to check this place out. It is very beautiful with quality luxury items. It felt very old french style to me. It wasn’t my style at all but there were some pieces that I really enjoyed. Among them, I really loved their grandfather clock, mirrors, a desk that had a globe print, and chandeliers.
There are 2 levels and a great showroom with inspiring ideas. I highly recommend checking this place out!
