By the way, before the owner makes excuses and says this is a false review, let me tell you that I always write under a different name for internet security purposes. Here goes:
So for my first appointment you would think Sandy, the owner, would be on her best professional behavior, however, she miscalendared my appointment time, fought with me over text about which time was the correct time, and then was 30 min late for my appointment. It wasn’t as if her prior appointment went longer, she was just off property. She didn’t even apologize for being late — unprofessional! I give her 2 stars because the lashes came out OK.

I love my lashes from there. So many people have given me compliments, they can’t believe they aren’t real. I love that it’s convenient, clean and easy to make appointments. Sandy is great, I have been going for a year now and have NEVER had a bad experience there. P. S. the prices are fantastic.

Sandey is the best! Love her amazing talent and my beautiful lashes! She’s located in the same building as Turnip Rose– super convenient. Her studio is very comfortable and super clean. She also used cooling eye pads while she works on your fills– fantastic touch.
Sandey has another employee who is also great– Claudine. I’ve been to both multiple times and they’re both fantastic. I feel like I get an hour to gab with a girlfriend when I go in for full fills. So glad I found this place!

Love my new lashes. The length is great. And staff are very friendly and answer all questions you have. Sandy really knows her eyelash talk. She’s been doing lashes for over 8 years.
My coworkers come to lashes and locks as well.
Can’t wait to flaunt my new look.

Sandey is wonderful. I have gone to a couple different eye lash extension places and just never found the professionalism and quality that I found at Lashes and locks. Sandey worked with me to create the look I was trying to achieve. Sandey has also made time to work me in when my schedule has been crazy. I am very picky and lashes and locks has met my criteria. I love my lashes! Thank you Sandey!

Sandy is amazing!!! I couldn’t be happier with my eyelashes! They look very natural, long, and perfect! She has a customer for life! She answered my voicemail message in a timely manner. My appointment was made in an acceptable amount of time. She even confirmed via text with explicit directions for finding her office. I highly recommend this business!

OMG!!! Don’t go to this place… I asked her if she’s going to cut my lashes and she said No WAY. It’s only Extention. I’m not going to cut your lashes … Guess what she shorten my own lashes so much that my left eye is in pain. It feels I have something in my eye for a past 3 weeks. Now it makes since she wanted to make another appointment right there. She cut my lashes so short so I’ll become repeat customer. You are a liar. I got eye infection plus I’m in pain since my lashes are so short it’s scratching my eye. Don’t go to this place

Awesome had my lashes done here 3 weeks ago with Sandy and just love my silk volume lashes! Today was my fill and feeling glamorous! Prices are great and her office is relaxing and clean. Parking is great. Recommend coming here!

I just had my second visit at Lashes & Locks and I am hooked! My lashes look so good and the quality of the service is great. The girls are super sweet & accommodating. I honestly don’t think I will go anywhere else. I will definitely be referring friends & family.

Just left Lashes & Locks and once again my lashes are AMAZING!
Came here with a groupon and was a little nervous since I have never gotten lashes before but I tried it and ended up hooked! I love the way Sandey does my lashes and I have never had a bad experience with her or any of the girls that have worked for her. I find the fact that I can text her with appointment changes to be very convenient and I ALWAYS get a reminder text the day before. I’ve been coming here for almost a year now, I usually book 2.5÷3 weeks for each fill and get a 45 minute fill. I workout, go swimming, wash my face and wear eye make-​up and my lashes last through it all… the people that say their lashes fall out right away must be picking at them because my lashes withstand A LOT.
Sandey is accommodating, everything is super CLEAN and I totally love supporting independent business owners.
Definitely recommend coming to Lashes & Locks!!!

I’ve been to ½ Dozen places that do eyelash extensions, I finally found the perfect person!
Sande is the Best! I highly recommend her to everyone that complements my eyes.
They last longer than others I have tried. They look so natural! Sande does a very thorough and professional job! Another bonus, she’s on Groupon too!

I had a great experience at first with Elyse. O I decided to do lashes because I was expecting my baby and knew I would not have time for make up but still wanted to look nice for photos. My Fill appt was scheduled three days after I gave birth, I actually did make it to my appointment and when I arrived no one was there to take care of me. I called the all of the phone numbers and nobody answered. Eventually Sandy called me and said she felt bad for me but her staff had all just left her and there is no one to do my lashes. I was bawling crying so upset, I left a very very brand-​new baby home with my husband to quickly get my lashes taken care of. She said that she would upgrade me to make up for the trouble.
But on my next appointment, when my baby was five days old, no word of any upgrade at all, and other women were there saying they had the same timeslot as me, Andrew from far away and we’re very upset because Sandy did not have a record of their appointments and was working on me. So then Sandy rush through my Fill, I actually looked worse than when I came in.
So for a third time, I decided to try again and this time on my right eye, and my upper lid was completely glued to my lower lid. When she tried to undo it, she ripped out several of my lashes and it was very painful. I also had a huge bald spot. When she handed me the mirror to see her work, I mentioned that I was missing some hair and that there is an empty spot. She replied that she did the best she could with the hair that was there, that there was no hair in that spot. I was frustrated so I went ahead and gave her my credit card so I can leave. She not only overcharged me, she added a higher tip than I said.
So, while I did enjoy my first experience, everything else there after, unfortunately by the owner herself, has led me to ensure my family and friends do not have the bad experience that I did. I am still trying to regrow my lashes, I was last in Sandy’s hands a month ago and as the lashes are falling off, I’m discovering my eyelashes are broken. I actually went to the doctor today to get on Latisse. I just felt like she showed up and didn’t really care or have my best interest at heart, and was very indifferent to the way that I felt and insensitive to the fact that I had just gone through so much physically to get there and have to deal with these staffing and organization issues, but alone the huge gaping hole in my lash line. Very embarrassing.

Lashes and locks is the best! Sandey is so professional and her lash extensions are so precise and gorgeous! I’m so pleased with her work and she is friendly, on time, and meticulous. Very highly recommended. I found her on Groupon and I’m hooked.

Avoid at all cost.
I came in a little over a week ago to get eye lash extensions. Never in my life have I felt more rushed. I asked how long the treatment would take, she said 1hr to 1:15… Needless to say she had me out in 45 minutes. Before I left I mentioned that they were kind of clumpy– I was given a lash brush and told to brush them out.
The next day my lashes looked like crap. I was so embarrassed but thought, maybe since this is my first time it was something I was doing .
By Tuesday my eye lashes were falling out (they were put on Friday afternoon). By Thursday my friends were all telling me I had to get them removed or fixed that they have never seen extensions look like this. I called Friday morning and left a message. Later that day I heard back from the owner and explained how I was concerned how many of my lashes were falling out and how clumped they were.
She got SO defensive and starting saying I have eye lashes that must criss cross and how it sounds like a maintenance issue. … Blaming it all on me. I mentioned that as the lashes were falling out an extension would come out and rip out multiple lashes .
She said there’s no way that is true — that only one lash extension is attached to an individual lash. I said I’m sorry but that’s not what has happened. She said I could come in for $ 25 and have them removed. By the end of the conversation she had offered to waive the $ 25 but She couldn’t get me in until the next day. at that point I didn’t want some girl who was upset with me and defensive working around my eyes .
Stay away from this business. My eye lashes are all falling out– it’s awful! I even attached a picture of how they are coming out in clumps.

I have been going here for over a year for my lashes but stopped since my tech Ava left. I’ve been to other lash places but lashes & locks is the best place so far. They are VERY professional, clean, and located in a really nice building.

So happy with this place! I politely texted them one night and asked if they had any room for me the next day since online it said they were booked. She quickly responded the next morning and got me in at a perfect time! Christine did my lashes and I am very pleased with them and will definitely return. The process was quick and the beds were comfortable!

I bought the Groupon for this. I have had lashes a handful of times before and this is by far the worst experience I have had. They glue one lash to a cluster of 4 or 5 lashes. It is so uncomfortable and it hurts because my natural lashes are being pulled at all times. Then when they come out, they take all 5 natural lashes with it. I will not be coming back. I should have looked at the Unilocal reviews prior to booking.

Total scam. Books weeks away from purchase. Purchase says nothing about a 48 hour cancelation in the groupon. If they were customer service oriented they would confirm 48 hours prior but instead they confirm 24 hours prior.
This was my experience… I called to schedule an appointment after I bought with Groupon. (I’ve never had eye lash extensions by the way.) I got a text back after my 2^nd attempt at booking. The text offered me an appointment for which I was not available at that time. I stated in my reply, not available what other times do you have? No reply. Then the day before that appointment time for which I said no to taking I got another text confirming my appointment. I had to screen shot the original conversation and text that back to whoever was doing the texting — btw the person didn’t introduce herself/​himself.
Then I called to ask for an appointment after the only response to my «no I said I couldn’t take that date/​time and asked you to advise on other options, was ‘ok’.»
Once on the phone the appointment was booked out for 2 weeks later.
Then I get a confirmation text 24 hours in advance. To which I say I need to cancel tomorrow no longer works. And the response in some generic 48 hour cancelation policy forfeiting my purchase.
Plus I get a text with a link to their website’s cancelation policy. Such a waste of my energy. They lost my business. Too bad too cuz I’m a loyal customer. I’ve been with the same hair stylist for 14 years. Oh well!

Sandey is amazing! She did a fabulous job on my lashes. I’m pretty picky about how I like my lashes to lay and she knows exactly how I like them long, thick and very full! I also love how if you book your touch ups in advance you get $ 10 off your next fill. Thanks again :)

I came here with a groupon and was feeling a little anxious after reading all the bad reviews. The place was a little difficult to find so I would recommend going early. Also don’t expect any of the staff to be particularly friendly.
Upon arrival I was still not sure if I was in the right place, the receptionist was abrupt and didn’t even look at me before she told me to take a seat. It seemed like the staff was not expecting me or knew who my technician would be.
This was my first experience with eyelash extensions. I had Nancy, and was not disappointed. She was meticulous and took her time to make each lash perfect. I felt a little more comfortable in her hands and their beds even have soft blankets to wrap up in if you get chilly or want to take a nap. I would give 5 stars to Nancy alone if I could, she made the experience for me because she did such a good job and I love my lashes. If you ask for her, your money will be worth it.
However not 5 stars for the business because of overall unfriendliness and lack of organization. It felt like I was a nuisance or something for even being there. They are lucky to have her because her skills allow some redemption. Just ask for Nancy and don’t make eye contact with anybody else.
