KV Nail & Spa

I haven’t need here for many years, because of the previous owner. The new owner has really made a difference. It is a nice place now! The massage chairs are all new, and working. The facility is very clean and all the ladies who work here are nice. There is even a Keurig machine.

Came here in desperate need super last minute. Typically I’m very very loyal to my nail girl but I needed help. I called last minute and guy set up with Han and she did nothing but blow my mind. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been with my nails !!!

This place was great. Tina did my pedicure. Marta did my manicure. Le did my brows! They all did a great job. I was super impressed. I thought Le did the best job on my brows that I have ever had done! Was a little pricey tho.

This salon has great service, reasonable prices, very nice massage chairs & can always seem to accommodate a last minute appointment request.

Sorry, not too happy with experience.
First off, this place was a bit expensive. I had better nail work done with more intricacy just a few miles away from here.
I had decided to come to this place since it was just across the street from where I live.
First things first, the ladies were very nice, but they cut me… like twice. Once on the toe and on my finger and made me bleed. And of course, it stung like hell when they put their product and alcohol on it. They were rough with their clipping and scraping stuff… it was very uncomfortable.
Second, they didn’t remove my gel nails properly. They’re supposed to apply nail polish remover and let it sit. Instead, she just tore them off, which actually kind of damaged my nails.
Third, the filing on my nails are un-​even.
Fourth, I let the polish sit on my toes for at least two hours before putting on my shoes. As soon as I put my shoes back on, the polish smeared off. I dunno what they applied to my toenails, but it didn’t dry properly! I plan to go back to get them fixed… but over all, I’m not happy.
I paid $ 10 more (plus tip) for a jacked up job, compared to the other place I had been to last month… and the last place did my nails beautifully with no problems.
I will not be returning here. Sorry.

So I gave them 2 stars because the service and quality was bad. I came in for a fill and a pedicure. The pedicure was amazing I have no complaints about that. The fill is where it all went wrong. So I had long pretty stiletto nails and I told her I wanted to keep the same shape and thickness just a little shorter. She filed them down and applied a very thin coat. When I asked her to make them thicker she made them fat at the base and thin at the tip making them look like talons. At this point I’m getting irritated so I let it go. when it came to polish I asked her if she had Matte polish she said she did but ended up not having it. I asked her for a design and she said she couldn’t so I finally chose a gel polish mind you gel polish is 20 dollars more. Ok fine so once I picked it she said it would cost an extra $ 20 ($ 40) extra for the gel color because it’s «hard» to do. By this time I was pissed and just told her to paint them the same as my toes. I don’t recommend this place for anyone under the age of 30 trying to get a creative fun look.

Under new ownership! My girl Han is back! She’s amazing at acrylic nails. I used to go to her for years. I have tried about 30 nail salons over the past 2 years and nothing compares to the work these ladies do! They have brand new spa chairs that are 100% sanitized! Plastic liners, disposable tubes on the tub rather than jets that can get filled with germs, bacteria and fungus! Everything is one time use so no infections on your nails. Very nice upgrades in the salon with modern style. Prices are very reasonable compared to the cities in the area — Irvine, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa… Also great nail colors by OPI, Essi, etc. and nice array of gel colors as well. Please check this place out. You will NOT be disappointed! I will post pics of my nails when I’m done today :)

My mom and i got pedicures here. We were pleased by the setting. Apparently they just got new chairs and remodeled the place. The service was very polite and kind! They gave great massages and even offered us a bottled water. My mom and i definitely will be coming again since we get our eye brows down right next door. glad we found them! lee was great!!!

Love this little place, I’m here every month sometime twice a month, they did really good job, Stacy did my toe very well, I had a bad in grow toe nails, Stacy slowly remove it out so I wouldn’t felt any pain, she very gentle.

Great local find! Came here as a walk-​in on my lunch break (had to wait about 10 minutes, but didn’t mind as they started my station promptly and I was able to relax with the hot water and massage chair). Kim was great! She gave me a peppermint foot scrub and VERY long massage (so long that I wasn’t sure if I had fallen asleep and somehow subconsciously agreed to pay extra for, but turns out it’s included in the $ 22 pedi)! :) Walked away with great toes and very pleased with the service. Tiny place, so best to make an appt. Highly recommend.

recently tried this place after multiple bad experiences at my regular place. jackie and mai gave me the best mani/​pedi ever! the place is older and less cute and trendy as other places. its disorganized, but definitely not dirty. the tools they use are fresh packed and opened right in front of you. both ladies spent a good amount of time on actual nails services, not just the time wasting gimmick you get a lot of places. they genuinely work hard, and don’t upset you too much. great service, will def be back!

Recently moved out to newport and was in desperate need of a nail salon. Tried a few but ended up sticking with KV. Jackie is amazing at french tip for pedicures and gives a killer massage. I haven’t left disappointed. Everyone is super friendly. Clean facilities and they always bring out the tools after being cleaned and packaged. Highly recommended.

This place has wonderful service! I walked in for mani/​pedi and they went above and beyond to make sure my toes were done well! I love it here, it is close, affordable, friendly and exceptional attention to detail

All around this place blows. They missed a shit load of steps. I may not get my nails done often or really at all, but when I choose to pay someone, I pay for quality! And the woman doing my mani was a b****! I don’t feel like I should have to tell someone how to do their job! Especially if it is not my profession!

This is the best (non-​fancy spa) pedicure I’ve ever gotten. They did a great job, really paid attention to detail. I just went as a walk in while in town. My pedicure lasted for two weeks, and when I took the polish off, my nails looked great, so I know they really prepped them well.

This place is the best around, by far!!! They do such a great job… I walked in here two years ago by chance and now I literally cringe if I’m traveling and ever have to go somewhere else. Mai and Tracy are my «go to» ladies but everyone there does a really nice job. The place is kept up great, comfortable massage chairs and very clean — hygiene is a priority here. I have a condition and my hands are very sensitive and they always go out of their way to make sure I’m taken care of… I really look forward to my visit there every other week, it’s a little slice of heaven.

Was in CA visiting. So, any place I went to was going to be a gamble. They were able to see me the same day at the time I requested. I got a little worried when I arrived and realized I was the only patron. But, it was early and a few trickled in while I was there. The gals were very nice and took good care of me. I got a pedicure (with hot callous gel $ 5 extra) and a gel manicure. The massage chair felt really good. Tracy and I had a very pleasant conversation and I left feeling renewed and had gorgeous nails! I waited to write this review to see how they would hold up. I’m happy to tell you that the gels lasted two weeks strong before I started chipping away at them and that was not easy! I will go there next time I’m in the area!

So, I got sick of paying almost $ 50 for a fill. KV Nail & Spa was the first on my new-​nail-​salon-​search list. Fills are $ 27, with an additional $ 5 charge if you want the gel coating on top. Don’t forget to tip your gracious nail lady!
This place is nice. It is clean. The ladies are friendly. They have probably seven or eight pedicure chairs and good prices for mani/​pedis. They have a giant TV that is visible from every chair in the salon, which is nice. They are always playing the news, which I enjoy as a news fiend.
I’m a lazy (and cheap) turd and usually wait at least three weeks before getting a fill. I try to find cheaper places that provide quality services. KV Nail & Spa does just that… my nails last a long time and look good! No popping off, no lifting… quality!
I see a bad review for eyebrow waxing. I’m sorry, but why would anyone walk into one of these nail salons and get their eyebrows waxed? Find an esthetician. Stick to nails in your nail salon, people.

I hate to admit it, but it has been probably over a year since I have gotten a manicure or pedicure. I figured doing my nails myself would be friendlier to my wallet.
Since my brother was getting married and I was in the wedding party, I knew I couldn’t do it myself with my nails this time around. Feeling lazy, I just went to KV nails because it is close to my house.
I went in on a Thursday afternoon and the place was empty. I got the mani/​pedi special for $ 29. It was a spa mani/​pedi with a hot oil massage for my hands and feet and a callous scrub as well.
The girls that did my nails were nice and we chatted it up for a good amount of time. I enjoyed watching some soap operas that they had playing.
I left with my nails looking great and was happy with my experience with KV nails. This is a typical nail place, nothing to special, it does appear to me that their totals are clean/​sanitized properly.
