Finally, I bit the bullet and had the clear bra removed. After 5 years, the clear bra turned to yellow dull bra. I took my friend’s advice and had the professional do the job so I could spend more time bonding with the baby.
After making about 5 phone calls to the local businesses this morning, KME AutoWerks was the only one to give me the best price to remove the bra. Kris and Mike at #KME came to my house and finished the job under 2 hours. Because of Sun UV, oxidation, and other factors, the paint underneath the film now has a shade but I’m extremely happy with the result. This color difference is mainly due to cheap clear bra film. The car is now again clean. I hope the color will fade overtime and eventually match. The point is, I highly recommend KME to friends and family. They’re fast and professional with their service. They offer mobile service through out Socal, so check them out before you call other companies

Referred to KME Auto Werks by a friend who was very pleased with full wrap for his Porsche 911 GT3. Needed to replace the poorly installed protective film application for my new Porsche 50^th Anniversary 911. Mike fit me into his tight schedule, on very short notice, while they were doing other scheduled installations in the Bay Area. After reviewing the existing protective film installation with Mike and Kris, we decided to keep the film on the front hood and replace everything else with their RaceKit package. 24 hours later and only a trained eye could see the protective film. Couldn’t be happier with the results, personal attention and the care and diligence exhibited by Mike and Kris.

The crew at KME Autowerks does some of the finest clearfilm wraps you can find, not all people doing this kind of work are the same as there is a vast difference in experience.

I cannot stress how important it is to find a competent, skilled and talented PPF installer. I’ve had clear bra and tint done on almost all my previous cars. As an automotive enthusiast and owners of multiple rare, collectible cars alongside show cars I am picky when it comes to who works on my cars. I was introduced to KME Auto Werks through a very reputable body shop that works on my cars.
I had worked with a few different clear bra and tint shop over the years. Over time I realized 90% of the overall work is determined by the experience with the installer and the other 10% is the film itself. A common issue many people run into is the installer cutting the film on the vehicle and instead of ‘scoring’ the film they cut through it and into the paint. This isn’t extremely evident until you remove the film one day and see cut lines.
The team here Kris, Mike and Evan are professional and courteous. Quick to respond to any questions or inquires, fair and reasonable pricing and the convenience of coming to your home or office to do the job. If you do not have a clean space for them to do the work they can arrange to have the vehicle done at one of their many satellite installation centers.
They carry Xpel Ultimate, Suntek Self Healing PPF and also Avery Nanofusion for clear bra. I’ve had KME do clear bra on a range of cars. Most recently I had KME work on my Porsche 911 Turbo and he was able to do the following in Xpel Ultimate: full bumper, full fenders, full hood, lower aerokit lip, all the lights, a-​pillar, roof line, rocker panels/​door sill, rear quarter panel, intake vents, door cups. The work is clean, there is minimal seams and most edges are hidden if possible. He removed headlights and emblems to tuck all the edges away. He also removed the old partial cut film. He demonstrated his experiencing cutting film and not cutting through film by cutting the old film on my hood and removing it. Although my heart may have skipped a beat there were no scratches when he was done.
He also tinted the windows with Huper Optik Ceramic and removed the old film.
Typically Kris will schedule a two week window after your initial install to revisit to ensure the vehicle was done 100% perfectly.
I also had them tint numerous cars, I usually spring for the higher end Huper Optik Ceramic film but Kris, Mike or Evan can explain what’ll suit your needs, etc. Their tint comes out flawless as well with no bubbles.
They are very careful to leave the interior and exterior of your car as spotless as possible. These guys take care of your car as if it was their own. They are accustomed to higher end clienteles that demand a specific level of workmanship.

I’ve used kme for installs for at least 5 of my vehicles. Their workmanship and attention to detail is incredible. The custom cuts are precise and immaculate. Last one I did was a precut and it came out looking as good as a custom piece. Mike is great to work with and just easy going. They came over to my house, worked in my garage and did a professional job. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Excellent Work! Brought in my car for service to have the clear bra protection film installed on my car headlines to protect it from damage and/​or debris. It has been over a year since the install, and the protection film still stands clean and clear, protects from insect splatter and minor abrasions. The Kme team is professional, and they provide great work within their installations and friendly interaction. Definite Recommendation.
