Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai is an authentic Japanese Ramen restaurant from Japan that is in business for over 30 years with 60 locations throughout Japan.
Kitakata Ramen, one of the Big 3 Local Ramen of Japan (the other 2 are Sapporo and Hakata), is from a very small city of Kitakata of northern Japan. Although the population of Kitakata city is only approx. 51,000, there are more than 130 Ramen eateries and 4,000 «Kura», breweries of local Sake, Shoyu (Soy Sauce), and Miso (fermented bean paste).
Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai is the most well-known eatery of Kitakata Ramen and its signature and classic «Kitakata Ramen» is widely known and beloved in Japan for its distinctive wavy flat hand-crumpled chewy noodles, light yet very flavorful golden clear pork broth, and Toro Chashu pork that is freshly made every few hours at the restaurant with the special soy sauce that is imported from Japan.

History
Established in 2014.
Original Ban Nai in Kitakata City on Northern Japan opened its door in 1958.
Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai, which is the sister company of the original Ban Nai opened its first door in Tokyo in 1987.
And, Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai opened its first international location in Costa Mesa in 2014.

Business Owner
Akira Nakahara, a current chairman of Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai as well as AKA «Ramen Buddha» was originally a craftsman of Soba noodle.
He visited Kitakata City and was immediately fascinated by Ban Nai’s Kitakata Ramen for its taste and quality.
After several tries to work at Ban Nai, and showing his passion for learning at Ban Nai, he was accepted by Nan Nai family. After long training and gaining trusts from Ban Nai family, Akira was allowed to bring Ban Nai’s Ramen and its banner to Tokyo, and opened his first restaurant in Shinbashi Tokyo in 1987.
