Best experience I’ve ever had with a towing company. They showed up EXACTLY when they said they would, were friendly and polite (both in person and on the phone), and got my disabled car loaded up quickly. Price is very reasonable as well — under $ 100 to get my truck loaded on a flatbed and off to the mechanic.
Would highly recommend these guys.

Jim’s Towing moved my mother’s non-​operational Jaguar from one side of the garage to the other. The service technician was friendly and professional. Based upon this experience, I would highly recommend the company.

Jim’s towing came through when I was in a time of need. The driver showed up on time and safely loaded up my car on to a flat bed truck. He made sure that nothing was going to drag across the ground before the truck started to load the car up. The drive was really nice and well groom. He was also very social and we had a great conversation until he got me to my destination safely.

Thank god for Jim’s Towing! After a nightmare with Green Tow, which my daughter who broke down called, I called Jim’s Towing out of frustration at being stranded on the 405 for over an hour with my daughter. I told her I was calling Jim’s Towing because I knew they were local and their tow truck driver Jon came to our rescue within 10 minutes! Amazing! The whole experience was great. I wouldn’t call anyone else in my area if this ever happened to me or my loved ones again. Thanks Jim’s Towing and driver Jon! You guys are awesome!

An Angel came to help me this morning when my car clutch stopped working! Angel from Jim’s towing showed up and determined that I was just out of clutch fluid, and he took me to a nearby gas station – where I spent 3 dollars, and he refilled my fluid, and had me pump the clutch several times, and I was back on the road!!! Yippee – I was crying when I called up AAA for Roadside assistance – the last thing I needed was car expenses when I am looking for a job!

01÷03÷14 8PM major blow out on the 405 south at Bristol Friday night. This driver shows up in no time with a GREAT attitude. Changed my tire and I was on my way. I could only wish that my employees would represent my company that way. Thanks Jims Towing.

10 stars! Ran out of gas on new years eve coming home from work on the 405 at Brookhurst… you all know how bad it is right there anyways. Not to mention there was a ten car pile up at Euclid just minutes before… what a time for my gas gage to quit working. At the time I didn’t even realize I was out of gas. Anywhooo… called AAA, got Jim’s towing. Michael was wonderful. Kept me posted on his whereabouts and time frame, listened to my car, put gas in it, helped me get it started, followed me off the freeway to the gas station and made sure I filled up and drove away. Now I realize that these are probably what any tow truck driver is SUPPOSED to do, however Michael was extremely personable and seemed to genuinely care about getting me on my way. I think he must really enjoy his job because he was awesome!!! Very courteous and professional! Thank you Jim’s towing!!! I made it home in no time and enjoyed dinner and NYE with my family.

I’ve had the occasion to use Jim’s Towing via AAA when my car wouldn’t start. Not only are the men very good at their jobs they’re very kind and not at all condescending that I’m a stereotypical woman who doesn’t really know her cars. (Oh, I can put in gas, change a spark plug, change the oil, or change/​jump a battery, but that’s about it.) Each time they managed to get my car started and I was able to get safely home.

I’ve dealt with a few of their technicians and they are unfailingly polite.

11÷16÷12 1:40pm, had a dead battery in an In and Out Burger lot. My wife had a 2pm appointment at a medical office and then we were rushed to get to San Luis Obisbo that night. AAA called Jim’s Towing and Max Kalman arrived in 10 min at a very crowded lot, maneuvered his truck in, diagnosed the dead battery, installed a new one, reset the radio, checked some stuff and we made our connection and trip within 20 minutes of estimates.
Max was very dedicated to his job and did not hard sell the battery. He gave us the option to get a jump and go buy the battery elsewhere. He was clean and presentable and friendly. This was very good experience when we were somewhat stressed.

I wish I could give more stars to Billy from Jims Towing. My sister got in a horrible accident on the 405 during rush hour and he was there to assist her, help her take her personal belongings out of the car and gave her his direct line incase she needed further assistance with calling insurance. He was quick to help, friendly and very professional! Glad we have AAA and Billy’s help.
Definitely recommend for further towing or mishaps.

If you get stuck with your car, you would want Jim’s towing to come out.
Mike and I believe Jon the guy that came out when I got stuck on the side of the road were wonderful. AAA had said the tow truck would be out in less than 30 min but after 40 min I called AAA and the time had changed to over 3 hours… are you serious.
Jim’s towing was really busy I was told and they were the only tow company available at all, told AAA I would call them myself and I talked with Mike. After explaining my situation he told me he would call me back in a few minutes… which he did… to my surprise I must say.
He said they would be out in 30 min, which they were., again a nice surprise.
Have not had this great service from a towing company ever !!!
And Jon was awesome, really the nicest guy.
He took us from Costa Mesa to Tustin market place.
Highly recommend them.

So I got a flat at 4:30am. No problemo, I call AAA, they come out, put the spare, I’m off on my way to work.
I get off work, and the spare is flat and unseated off the wheel (tale of caution, check your spare regularly). Mac (I think? Maybe Moe?) from Jim’s Towing comes out (after another call to AAA) and says «maybe I can reseat the tire for you,» perfect! He does, but the valve stem is leaky. He tells me of a tire shop close by (Mexicali Tire next to Avalon) and says he’ll follow me to make sure I make it. I make it ok, but I lost him at a light. I figure, eh, I made, he probably went to another call. Nope, he’s right behind me.
What service! After I leave this review, I’m calling Jim’s up and letting them know how awesome their driver was.

GREAT SERVICE! I broke down this morning and got refered to Jim’s Towing by AAA. They were there in less time than AAA quoted me! Bill was great and even tried to fix my car! I will definitely keep them in mind for future tows.

I barely hung up the phone from calling them and they were there! Friendly, patient, kind — and at a time when I was really shook up by a bad crash the tow truck driver made me feel a lot better.

AMAZING SERVICE! I needed to have my car towed which obviously is unfortunate– but luckily I had an amazing man, named Bill, help me out. He was very kind, and worked quickly. I hope I never need to have my car towed again, but if I do… I will definitely request Bill from Jim’s Towing.

WOWW! This company’s great!
My extremely intelligent and talented boyfriend locked his keys in his car after a day at the beach yesterday. When I was starving. The person he talked to on AAA must have been super nice because he made small talk with the guy and chuckled a little bit. While the whole time, I’m sitting on the curb, letting my stomach eat me alive. Thinking grumpily, «Yeah. laugh it up kid because I’m two seconds away from strangling you.»
Thankfully the tow truck arrived quickly, saving me from having to commit a gruesome homicide. Killing’s so tedious. Michael was super friendly and caught me off guard by giving me a deliciously cold bottle of water. His cheerful disposition and great manners put me in a good mood in no time. His momma raised him right.
I even made sure to make a note of the towing company just so I could review the place.
A+, quality service all the way.

Jim’s Towing employs two of the friendliest, most professional fellows… Matt and Sean! These guys really helped me out last night. I am a middle aged woman who knows nothing about cars, and I had already tried relying on the meager roadside assistance provided by my insurance company. I will cancel their service immediately at the start of tomorrow’s business day. Now that I have AAA (which contracts with Jim’s Towing, and for good reason), I don’t need to pay for service that benefits me not at all. Matt and Sean are great examples of how business ought to work… they are the reason AAA has the reputation that it does… and I’m happy to know they are there to help! They were fast, knowledgeable and professional, and put me completely at ease! Jim’s Towing gets my vote of confidence… they employ people who know their business.
