Jenn is the absolute best! I’ve been going to her now for 2 years after having a difficult time finding a stylist who could accommodate my schedule and make my hair both healthy and beautiful. She has managed to do all 3 and she always has great tips to keep things fun and exciting. If you haven’t been to Jenn yet, you should definitely try her out. I promise she will not disappoint!

Jenn is amazing at what she does! I’ve come to her for almost 2 years now and I’ve never been happier. It’s hard to find someone who you can trust with color and a balayage, but with Jenn, you’re always in good hands! She can do all colors and shades — with her expertise, she knows what will make you look best!

Like many women, I was seeing the damage of the ocean and my color was looking «damaged.» After years of going to the same colorist, I found Jenn Smith. She accommodated my coming in and transformed a dull and damaged head of hair into the gorgeous rainbow of hand painted browns.
Jenn knew what she was doing and moved with expertise through every step. It was my first appointment and I am so impressed. Jenn is extremely talented and I am so grateful for her work.

I found Jenn on Unilocal when I moved to Newport Beach. All of her wonderful reviews is whah caught my eye! I called her on a busy Saturday in hopes that she would have availability for a haircut and color. She squeezed me in last minute and was such a pleasure to work with. She is professional, knows her products and always does a great job with my hair. I love coming in and being pampered by Jenn!

It’s funny! I saw that review on Jenn’s extension and I defintiley don’t get it. I just got my Wept extensions from Jenn and I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE THEM!!! Jenn is so knowelgabe and a true professional that know exactly what she’s doing. I was nervous for extensions and Jenn made me feel so comfortable and they look so natural. It is exactly what I wanted. Not mention the customer service was fantastic. Treated like the most imprortant person in the salon from the time I walked in the door. I would highly highly reccomend Jenn.

Honestly was not happy… I made it clear from the moment I walked in that I wanted them to blend and I wanted micro beads. Not only did she make me drive from corona to Newport to then say I don’t do beads but let me tell you why the weft is better. I told her that I didn’t see how the weft would blend. She then cut me off to tell me all her years of experience and how it’s soooo much better! Ok so I got suckered in. I was desperate. I then said it several more times… Are you sure they are going to blend? She said yes you need to trust me. A client of hers walked in to fix a bead that had gotten lose. THATS WHEN I KNEW! I thought her hair looked awful. At that point it was all over my face how disappointed I was. She even made a comment that if I was going to give off the vibe she couldn’t do her job correctly. Anyway they curled it like Shirley temple which IS NOT how I style it but it helped make it look more blended. I’m posting the pic right after I had it done. Then the picture of a few days later. I wore it in a bun for two weekS! WASTED $ 1000 literally threw in the trash!!! N had someone else put in beads again. OMG THEY ARE AMAZING! this was what I wanted all along. I hate when I’m lied to just to get my money! FYI I don’t trash talk and Pictures don’t lie Jenn! You knew I wanted beads and when I text u you said to come in for consultation. So I assumed that meant yes!!! Once I got there you let me know you didn’t!!! I’m sure many people love them. They work more on longer hair ! My hair was too short and wavy. I asked you soooooooo many times if they would blend and you said yes. Based on pics it’s obvious they do not! Be honest with your clients that’s what I didn’t appreciate. I don’t have $ 1000 to throw in the trash! If your pissed imagine how I feel!!! If money wasn’t the issue then why not refund me?!? Exactly!

Jenn did an amazing job! She was able to fit me in between two clients when I called the same day! I didn’t give her much direction, but am walking out of the salon with a beautiful blonde bayalage and I couldn’t be more in love with it!

Still the best Salon and Stylist in Orange County. Friendly, great service, and of course an amazing haircut — every time.

I’ve bounced around between many hair stylists over the years. Inconsistency, lack of skill or location instability were the most common factors for not remaining with one stylist for long.
I can typically asses a stylist pretty quick based on how they project themselves, how they listen and comprehend how you would like your hair to be cut, and then how easily they get into their flow.
From the first time I met Jenn I knew without a doubt I was in good hands. First and foremost, Jenn is an established business owner so you know she’s responsible and location stability will never be an issue. Jenn listens to what you like and basically executes her craft with complete confidence and professional skill. Jenn is very current on the latest trends, always takes the extra time to fine tune your cut before you leave, and most important of all Jenn is consistent.
If you’re not the Supercuts type, in other words you care about the end result of your haircut and what you will be walking around with between cuts, then I would highly recommend Hair by Jenn Smith.

I have more hair than the average bear, and Jenn is always able to tame the beast. My hair goes from professional to unabomber big hair very quickly especially during any type of humidity.
Jenn is also really knowledgeable about hair products, and her suggestions has helped me purchase hair products that can control my thick silver locks. Her Salon has beer and wine for when you need a little day drinking break — which is a bonus.
I usually feel like I can lift more weights, and I am fundamentally stronger after I get a hair cut from Jenn.

Today are my engagement pictures and I am so excited! No doubt Jen will have my hair looking amazing, I have complete trust, she is amazing and I will not trust anyone else with my hair! If you are reading this review and looking for a new stylist, she is your girl!

Jenn is a great stylist who is always up to date with edgy hair cuts. You can come and relax, have a glass of wine. Great fun environment!

I’ve been going to Jenn for years and she is the only person I trust to color my hair! She makes everything look natural (really good at ombré and bayalage) and is one of those people that can look at you, pick a color and you like it. Highly recommend her!

If you are a guy and you want to increase your stock with women, get a haircut by Jenn!
Years ago I started cutting my own hair because I can do as good a job as barbers, supercuts, etc. An ex girlfriend of mine got her hair done by Jenn and recommended I try the same. I’m so glad she did. I never pictured myself going to a salon to get my haircut, but doing so to have Jenn cut my hair is incredibly worth it.
I always get tons of compliments after I see Jenn. I never get these compliments when someone else cuts my hair (myself included).
Take my advice, you will add two points to yourself on a scale of 1 – 10!

Jenn did such a fantastic job, my hair was exactly what I wanted! A little expensive, but it’s easy to see what you’re paying for.

I absolutely adore Jenn! She always makes my hair look on point. And I’m PICKY! She learned what I like quickly and delivers everytime. She’s truly the most talented colorist I’ve been to. You won’t be disappointed! Anddd she always works around my crazy and last min schedule.
