Dr. Naim is Board Certified in General Surgery with Fellowship training in Bariatric Surgery. He has extensive training with over 2000 procedures performed. He has multiple office locations in Los Angeles, Long Beach and Orange County. His Multidisciplinary team includes Registered Dieticians, Psychiatrists, Patient coordinators and free monthly support groups at no cost to you. Dr. Naim has set up his program to help every patient from day one, including proper advice regarding diet & exercise and steps to get Insurance approval ASAP.

We also perform Gastric Bypass and Lap-​Band procedures. All procedures performed with keyhole incision and most patients go home the same day or the following day.

Dr. Naim established his private practice in 2004. This was to focus on patient care on an individual basis, with great care to reduce surgical complications, and obtain the best result.

Business Owner

Dr. H. Joseph Naim received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and received his Medical Degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City with a distinction in Research. He completed his residency in General Surgery at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y., where he was Chief Resident during his final year. Dr. Naim completed his Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Bariatric Surgery at University Medical Center at Princeton, N.J., under the direction of world renowned bariatric surgeon Robert E. Brolin, MD.
