Ben started out well. Collecting $$ from the neighbors to trim trees that were overgrown and blocking ocean views of a home for sale, over a block away. It took over 3 weeks to complete the job. If you consider the job done. They would work, then stop to do other jobs. Ben neglected to remove branches that have died and are now a fire hazard. He damaged my fence in front of me, and neglected to remove the large branch from the now broken fence until I asked him to. Ben has promised to remove the debris he left as well as repair the fence his guys broke.
Needless to say Ben’s promises have all been broken.
The worst news is these trees are in Buck Gully and this is the largest fire hazard in Corona Del Mar.
Fire inspection are starting in June …
Irresponsible contractors cost us all …

Truly night-​and-​day difference between Down to Earth and our prior yard care service. The difference boils down to the fact that these guys (especially our lead Ben Green) listen to what we want and deliver it each and every week. They are much, much more than just a gardener. They know their stuff and truly professionals.
I can’t say enough about all that they can do! Extremely happy with them. They even found 4 breaks in my sprinklers that was wasting a lot of money and water!

the price was right but it hasn’t been worth it. Had a site visit and verbal quote on a Monday, no promised email quote until after I contacted them 4 days later– and it had risen by almost $ 800… It’s now been 7 days since our initial meeting and I still can’t pull the info I need. Wont be sticking around. Bummer!

Had high hopes for this service but it was not to be. Just another mow and go landscaping company. No consistency in the week to week landscaping. Some weeks they would under trim vines and bushes, other weeks they would over trim. I planted $ 100 worth of brand new ornamental grasses in the yard and three weeks later they trimmed them to the ground! They never took corrective action for plants that were dying of disease or from over/​under watering. No one answers the phone and slow to return voice mails.

Don’t ask me why but I have been using this service for over ten years and it just keeps getting worse. All I can say is bad service. No communication with the office. Even if you ask for something to be done they do not do it. I guess it is time to put my loyalty badge away and get someone that really cares about their clients. It makes me sad.
