Wow, this place is awesome all around! Let me tell you! My husband and I recently have encountered a bad experience with another shop and have now turned to Geoff at Cycledoctor. Geoff is upfront, honest and provides quality work. He goes above and beyond with his time and customer services. He gives detailed estimates on paper and has given us a good idea of what to expect when it comes to money. He has spent time with both my husband and I in detail talking with us and we never felt rushed once. He has even helped guide us with out side sources as well and truly looks to the best interests of his clients. This man is really God sent with his work and work ethics. We will be life long clients and recommend as many friends, family, and others as possible! If you are looking for old school humanity and compassion and hard work this place is your go to no questions asked! Thanks so much Cycledoctor!

It’s clear why this shop has such an outstanding reputation in So Cal. Geoff, Steve and Cam are great to work with. I recently purchased a 2000 FXD which was laid down and needed significant mechanical and cosmetic work. Geoff and the team were there every step along the way, providing thoughtful direction and excellent work on the top end rebuild, installation of risers and bars, aftermarket gauges, wheel & tire set up as well as paint and body work. My bike looks and runs better than I imagined. I’ll not be taking my bike anywhere else and will point everyone I know with a Harley their direction.

Geoff is by far the best tuner that I have ever had tune any of my bikes and I’m pretty anal about who works on my bike.
I had toyed with the idea of rebuilding my 01 RK and after speaking with Geoff, I decide to purchased a 2011 RGC instead. I had the dealer install a Thunderheader, bigger air cleaner and a TT Mastertuner per Geoff’s suggestion. My goal was to get the motor to run better and still be reliable, so this is where Geoff suggested that I start.
When I rode down to LA on 2010 to work on a project I had him pick the bike up and tun it for me. It came back with 84.6 HP and 101.3 TQ. Decent numbers for a totally stock 103″ motor. He was also able to eliminate that flat torque spot that Thundeheaders are notorious for and sounds like it has an aftermarket cam in it, not to mention that it runs great.
Adding a Woods 777 cam next week and planning on taking the bike back to Geoff for the tune, because IMO he’s that good and worth the trip from Nor Cal.
Sorry to hear others have had bad experiences with Cycle Doctor.

I called up cycle doctor since it had great reviews. I needed to get my forks taken apart for powder coat and fresh fluid put back in. Also I had new tires mounted. They quoted me one price and when I got there they raised it more than double! They said it was because my forks were adjustable for my bike. (I told them what kind of bike I had on the phone) I decided to do it anyways since I had already drove 35 miles to get it done.
I pick up my stuff and take it home, one of my forks would no longer adjust. I called them and they took it back. They «fixed» it. Well it wasn’t fixed, the adjusters on it wouldn’t turn the right way. I contacted them again and they told me to bring them back in. I opted not to since it was so far away and I feel like it shouldn’t take three tries to get it right. To top it off, my wheels were scratched…
The thing that really irritated me was the attitudes there. When I dropped off my forks I asked him if he wanted the manual for them. Geoff says, «why would I need that?» I said I thought maybe he could use it since they aren’t normal forks, I didn’t know how much experience he had with them. His reply? «what gave you that impression.» I was just trying to be nice. Ironic since they messed them up twice.
Another comment he made when I brought my wheels in, I said «here ya go freshly powder coated wheels.» He said, «as opposed to what?» umm… huh? Just seemed to make unnecessary comments that had a condescending ton.
To top this all off, I had Harley in Fullerton do my forks the next time and it cost half the price! At a dealership! Cycledoctor ripped me off.
If you followed my he said she said, my point is that this place is expensive and has an attitude problem. I won’t return.
I gave an addition star because they stuck by their work in trying to fix my forks.

This is a update to my last review. Brought my new bike in for a few oil leaks and chrome forks. Geoff did a awesome job with the estimate and keeping in contact. I am happy we discussed the issues from before. Glad I came back. Thanks to Geoff and the guys for taking care of my bike.

I’ve taken my Road King there a couple times now and Cycle Doc really is the BEST bike shop I have ever been to. Geoff is simply the most professional cycle pro I know (Cool guy too!) He is fair, HONEST and super-​knowledgeable. I don’t mind paying a shop decent money when I KNOW I am getting topnotch work and the benefit of years of experience well shared with their loyal customer base.
That being said, having a great recommendation for a tire far superior than an HD Avon and purchase/​installation for over $ 100 LESS than the HD dealer is tops in my world!
I honestly give Cycle Doc my very highest recommendation to anyone sick of paying too much at HD or getting ripped at other shops… F the rest, go to the BEST!

Geoff took the time with me to figure out the best motor upgrade options for my riding style and budget. He was not the cheapest quote in town but worth every penny. My bike came out far beyond what I had expected and I would trust Geoff with anything else after how meticulous and honest they were about my rebuild. I have had a lot of Dynas over the years and Geoff takes the cake at performance expertise. Highly recommend Cycle Doctor for any HD tuning and other work.

Pricing is not the lowest and that is hard, but I trust them and I will use this shop again. Nice guys, they actually answer questions AND the phone! LOL

Never Again! These guys will tell you one thing then change there story. Say they will call you back but don’t. Tell you your bike will be finished on a certain date then when it is Not will say we never said That!

I rode my bike down to southern Cal. to visit friends and I ended up with a blown rear wheel bearing. I took the wheel down to the Cycle-​Doctor in Costa Mesa and I just want to say they have a stand-​up mechanic named Steve who really worked wonders in repairing what I thought to be a lost cause. Geoff also looked out for me in saving me money instead of trying to work me out of money. This shop and the people in it are definately among the BEST in the business.

Geoff and the rest of the team are fantastic! Outstanding customer service, they will go out of their way to meet your requirements. Especially for dyno tuning they are the best… your bike will run better than it ever has after they are done. Don’t bother going anywhere else!

They are crooks!!! They have great reviews online, and they are friendly to speak with — but they will rip you off blind. They tried to charge me over $ 600 for work they didn’t do. After arguing with them, I left with a bill of $ 367.55 and a terrible taste in my mouth. The two main things I wanted reparied on my bike (front brakes fixed & electric starter reparied) were not fixed. I paid for a master cylinder rebuild kit that I did not receive and almost had to pay for an additional 2.5 hrs of work (@ $ 90/​hr) for them to re-​route oil lines — which they did not do. They did replace a front brake bleeder screw, a rear brake fitting, and re-​routed my battery cable. They said that they weren’t able to kick-​start my bike (it started fine for me), and said that my iginition weights needed to be repaired which I do not think was necessary. Again, these guys are really nice, and I wanted to have the same great experience as the other reviewers out there — but I couldn’t have experienced anything further from that. I highly recommend to either find a good shop or do the work yourself. Stay away from Cycle Doctor — they will stick it to you!

Simply put, these guys are professional, knowledgeable and set the bar when it comes to dealing with bike shops. Will never take my bike anywhere else! Awesome shop!

There aren’t many places where I would bring my Harley. Cycle Doctor is one of the few on my list, and they are at the top of my list.
Great service, decent prices and a relax and honest staff.

Geoff serviced my bike back in 2000 and 2001 and then did a complete 106 kit in 2005 on my heritage softail after four other HD dealers misdiagnosed the bike, which was a bad oil pump causing oil discharge out of the air cleaner. Geoff is the only private shop to touch my bike and my motor runs as strong today as it did in 2005 and I am about to ship him my bike from illinois because I want more work done and cant find anyone who knows what they are doing and I do not want to repeat what I went through in 2005. My wife says riding on my bike is like riding on a on airplane at take off, thats what i call torque! Geoff is honest and does what he says he will do, you will not be disappointed!

Took a mostly stock 95ci carbed harley to him. Came out with 40% more horsepower, 10 degrees cooler running, and about 5 miles better MPG.
Service is beyond exceptional! I drive 14 hours one way for his service.
