This a fun place to take family and friends.
The best is when the sidecars ride they are crazy fun and no brakes !
0 to 60 in 2.2 sec!
I always look forward to it and when the fair comes it a great bonus!

Bring earplugs. You will need them or your ears will be ringing for a month after listening to the obnoxiously loud announcer. Not sure what the deal is but for some reason they crank the P.A. volume to max level when level two or three would be more then sufficient.

I always have a nice time watching the speedway bikes. The venue is nice, the food available is marginal, but the happy hour beers before the races are great! They raised the prices recently and it is $ 15 – 20 entry (bring cash), which keeps this from four stars in my review. It is easy to spend over $ 100 for a night out with the family here (parking, entry, food, drinks), but I still go to a few races every season.
And as already mentioned, this venue is in Costa Mesa not SJC.

Went to Speedway last night for the first time in like 13 years. Awesome to say the least… Everything is the same, even the people. Bobby «buugaloo» shwartz, «Flyin» Mike Faria were racing when I was a kid, and they still are! Beer was about $ 10 a cup and admission was $ 15 but I still had a great time.
Next weekend is Harley Night! Full dressers coming out to the track. I’ll be back all season!
