Welcome to Costa Mesa Optometry! We provide comprehensive eye exams to screen for and treat vision and eye health problems, contact lens evaluations, diabetic evaluations, glaucoma testing and pediatric and infant exams.

We have a full dispensary of frames available on-​site, with brands such as Oakley, Ray-​Ban, Christian Dior, bebe, Nine West, Fossil, Guess, Nickelodeon, Jai Kudo and more. We also carry the latest in contact lens technology to help you see clearly while keeping your eyes comfortable and healthy.

Dr. Neda Khadem is an Orange County native who graduated from Newport Harbor High School, then continued her education and training in Southern California. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine, Dr. Khadem received her Doctorate in Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Khadem is a board-​certified optometrist who is licensed to diagnose and treat eye and vision problems and diseases. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, the Orange County Optometric Society and the Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce.

Overall a wonderful experience. The receptionist was so friendly! The doctor was able to answer all my questions regarding my contacts. She was also very easy to talk to and knowledgeable! I didn’t feel rushed unlike other places I’ve been too. I can’t wait for my follow up appointment. Pay her a visit if you’re in need of a new optometrist!

I called in for a first appointment and was able to be scheduled in quickly. The staff was patient, helpful, and just generally nice to work with.
The actual office building is located behind the Rite Aid, and although it took me a bit to find it, it’s pretty accessible. Parking wasn’t an issue either.
Dr. Khadem was both knowledgable and warm, and my experience was quick, courteous, and actually enjoyable.
I’ve never actually had a bad experience at an Optometrist’s office, but I had never had a good one either until today! I would actively recommend Costa Mesa Optometry to friends, family, and anyone really.

My wife and I are very thankful we found out about Dr. Khadem. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by one of the receptionist which are glad to help in any way. We’ve had very poor luck dealing with Optometry until meeting Dr. Khadem. Very professional and will explain everything in detail. We have found the right Dr. for our needs.

Really great experience at this office. Dr. Khadem is extremely knowledgeable, patient, professional and kind. I immediately felt comfortable in this office and with her. I had a 4:30 appointment and called at 2:30 to see if I could move it up to 3:00, and they were extremely accommodating. Top notch service and a fabulous small business to support. Would recommend to anyone and everyone I know!

I had an appointment here last week for myself and my son. It was his first eye exam and the first one I have had had in several years. I was very impressed with Dr. Khadem, she was very friendly and professional and just makes you feel very comfortable. I was a bit worried about how my son would do since he is only 8 months old but he loved Dr. Khadem as well and was happy and smiling at her and just seemed to love the experience. Who knew an eye exam was so fun? It was quick and painless yet very thorough and she didn’t try to sell us anything extra, in fact she said I probably wouldn’t need to worry about glasses for several more years and that my son should have his next appointment in a couple years. Great experience and highly recommend.

Small business and a boutique experience. Family helps out in front but most of the time I spoke directly with Dr. Khadem. Extremely professional and patient. She will answer all questions and has great follow up. Highly recommend this place!

Dr. Khadem is amazing! Seriously. She’s super professional and she answered all of my questions. She’s very much on top of things and just a really nice person. I would recommend her to anyone. After my eye exam I ordered a year supply of contacts and then a couple days later changed my mind and wanted a different brand. I called her and she said that no problem she could order me a different brand. I just brought in the box and she exchanged it for another one. So easy and simple. She was so accommodating and made it such an easy exchange! You can tell she genuinely loves her job and just wants to provide a great service! I would give her 5 ½ stars if i could. I will definitely be going back to see her from now on.

I’ve tried tons of Optometrists and switch every year because there’s always something I didn’t like. However, I will be going back again for as long as I’m in the area. Dr. Khadem is extremely nice and polite and gives you great service. Her selection of frames were perfect! I usually have to search and search but I found 3 pairs within 5 minutes that I liked. The huge PLUS is that she does not try to up sell you on frames/​lenses. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

AMAZING! Dr. Khadem was very friendly. I called in at 915 am, made an appointment for 1030am the same day. When I arrived, she took me in with no wait. It was the first time getting contacts, so she took her time and explained everything. She even showed me how to put them in and take them out. I am very impressed with her and her staff.

I went in to see Dr. Khadem due to a scratched cornea and wanted to have it looked at. I when I called she was the one who answered the phone. It is a very small business that she has (just her and one other person). I knew that when she answered the phone I would be getting good customer service but I didn’t know how good until I actually came in.
When I came in she saw me pretty much right away and after looking at my eye she wanted me to put some antibiotic drops. But since I wasn’t going to need to use them for very long, she gave me a free sample of drops so I wouldn’t have to go and pay for a prescription (nice!).
She is very nice and knowledgeable. She told me everything that was going on and what she wanted me to do and made sure I didn’t have any unanswered questions. This is probably the best optometrist I have been to in the 20 years I have been wearing glasses/​contacts.
I highly recommend her.
