This car doesn’t last very long… You need to be a little old Grama that goes to the store and back.
Do not buy a LEAF if your going places in life…

Bought my 2015 sentra here with Hispanic young man, Juan, I think. I was really nervous buying my first new car, he was very friendly and calm. He understood me and actually listened. Very knowledgable about the cars. Definately recommend him

Was looking for a new car online and called them up. Van was a great representative for the dealership because he made sure they had the car I wanted and connected me to Mike Lambo who closed the sale. They worked the numbers in order to make sure that I got the deal I was looking for. I had called the dealership in Gardena and the representative was so dismissive. Would definitely recommend these guys and will be coming back whenever I need a car.

After my mom was given a hard time yesterday at a different dealer, we went the TrueCar route.
Matthew Engle (Internet Sales). made a really nice offer a 2016 Nissan Altima we wanted. Naturally, I was suspicious, so I called Matthew a couple times to confirm details, confirm the car, confirm the price, and then sent my mom on her way. My mom piled in the car and headed over.
First, there was an immediate disdain for the TrueCar offer. Miraculously, the link Matthew originally sent us got adjusted $ 500 higher within minutes of sending it over (I had a screen shot saved), but it didn’t matter. First $ 500 out the door.
Then, when we handed off to our sales guy, Chris Hames, we were hit with the next $ 500 charge. The car wasn’t on the lot, and there would be a $ 500 charge to get it there. Ridiculous, but I responded, let’s just get all the way to the end, and if we walk out with car now within $ 1,000 of the quoted price, we were going to be happy.
Next, we went to consider financing the car. The guys at Nissan came back with a 5.62% interest rate, despite nearly 40% down. Well, that’s crazy. So we agreed to pay cash for the car. Our sales rep Chris though informed us that if we paid cash, we would lose $ 2,500 in further incentives.
This was outrageous, so we asked which incentives they were. He picked off three different incentives that totaled $ 2,500 and said there you go! Those three. When we challenged him on it, he left, only to come back and say, OK, just $ 750 of the incentive (the captive cash one) would actually go away.
So now we’re $ 1,750 above TrueCar price and over an hour into the process.
As we pulled past 8:00PM and finally agreed to the $ 1,750 Chris finally came back and said we don’t have the car. Well, everyone knew that already, hence the $ 500 charge. Now Chris said that he didn’t have to honor the quote because TrueCar is only for «in stock» vehicles.
It was fairly clear they decided that they just didn’t want to do the deal at this point. Chris just went on to then hammer Matthew, saying it was totally unethical that Matthew gave a quote for a non in-​stock car and that Chris was NOT OK with Matthew’s behavior and needed to have a serious talk with him.
I think the real lesson here is to avoid these guys entirely.
This was my second Nissan in 18 months, and my experience and Downtown LA Nissan was 180 degrees the opposite. Gary Kamoshida helped me there, honored an online quote without issue, and had me out of the dealership with my car in under 30 minutes.

Update 3÷1÷16
My car has been covered and sitting on the street for 4 months now. I don’t have the 3,600 to get it fixed. Yet I’m still paying this ridiculous payment monthly. If I wasn’t about to buy a house, I’d have this crappy car voluntarily re-po’d.
I’ve been annoyed for having to move it twice a week for the sweeper. Now it won’t move. So I’ve gotten at least 1 sweeper ticker AND my car got keyed 2 months ago while it was uncovered to move for the sweeper.
I can only wait for a blessing to fix this mess.

This place really works with you with in your budget and has awesome products. But, most of all I dealt with BEN and from the onset of the conversation when I called he LISTENED and was of the utmost help on everything I needed help with. In the end, I got JUST what I wanted and needed and they moved fast to accommodate me as I drove far. Thanks for everything and making my experience very pleasurable!

We r back here again with Pastore! Leased our 2^nd car from nissan. Great customer service, no bs and he really works for u! We couldn’t be happier.

My husband and I just got 2 brand new cars from Nissan today! We decided to lease the 2016 Leaf SV and we purchased a 2015 Sentra SV. We did a bunch of research before going to the dealership, so we were pretty confident we were going to leave with at least one car as long as we had a good experience and the price was right.
When we arrived, Rod showed us around and talked through the benefits of each of the cars with us (Leaf, Sentra, Rogue, Altima). Although he wasn’t the most knowledgable about each feature (he was brand new), he was able to get all of our questions answered. I was skeptical about the Leaf at first, but after taking it for a test drive and hearing more about it, I was really interested. However, I thought it would be out of my price range, so in the back of my mind I was planning to go with the Sentra.
After we were done checking out the cars, Rod introduced us to Van who handled all of the details and negotiations. Van showed us some numbers, and based on the price he worked out with us, we were able to leave there with not one, but two cars!
It was our first time buying/​leasing new cars, and everyone we spoke to was super helpful and patient when explaining things to us. I also didn’t feel like they were trying to «sell us» or force us to purchase something out of our price range.
I would absolutely recommend stopping at Costa Mesa Nissan if you’re interested in a new car — And be sure to ask for Van!
PS — We also loved chatting with Steve from Finance. Seemed like a great guy!

My mom had a check engine light appear. They agreed to check it out for free, and wash it, with no hassle & no appointment. Marlon Cabrera helped us, and was polite, professional & courteous!
I am so pleased with this dealership!

Quite unimpressed with the sales reps product knowledge, or lack of product knowledge. When he got stumped on a basic question about how many horsepower the Murano had, he went and got his «senior» sales rep, who didn’t know either. Then proceeded to look it up for 5 minutes on his cell phone. After a while I asked him if the Murano and Pathfinder had the same engine, again he went back to his phone to look for answers. it wasn’t like i was asking him cargo space or towing capacity — just horsepower, almost the most basic spec you could know about a car next to MPG. I was very underwhelmed with their overall attitude toward someone who needed a new SUV. So I took my business elsewhere. Sorry Costa Mesa, you loose. Please explain to the owner that you’d rather stand around getting warm in the sun instead of greeting people or learning about your vehicles…

What a terrible experience at the Costa Mesa dealership there is no way to negotiate except for Eric the salesman extremely poor service we ended up buying a Mitsubishi and the service was absolutely completely different very happy with my Mitsubishi

Currently having a not-​so-​positive experience with this dealership.
To start off, I thought I would be receiving excellent service because that is the impression I was given when I walked in. Everyone was very kind and respectful, and they made it seem as though they were going to remain on top of the process.
I am now entering the fourth week without my car, and I cannot get ahold of the Service Team member that is supposed to be helping with it.
When I dropped the car off three weeks ago, I was reassured that I could expect my car to be finished within about a week and a half, and that I was all squared away. A week and a half later, they contact me to let me know that no work had been done and that they were waiting for my insurance. That concerned me greatly, considering I had contacted my insurance and made sure that they knew what needed to be done. Then there was confusion about what the damage to my car was. Even though they told me it was just an issue with the suspension in my car, they also believed their may be some body damage. So they decided to send it to a body shop to assess if there was damage. On a Friday afternoon. If you don’t know (and I didn’t, I learned it when talking to the folks at the dealership) body shops are generally not open on the weekend. So they essentially decided it to transport it somewhere, even though it would delay the repair several more days.
When I asked about it and expressed concern about the timeline I was assured they would try to work quickly. They assured me that checking for body damage and fixing that first would be the best way to go about the repair. I accepted that expert opinion. I still don’t have my car.
Yesterday I called in the check in the status because I was reassured early in the week that my car would be done toward the end of the week. First, I was told that the team member managing my repair would call me back, and my information was taken down. I called back 3 hours later and was told that Kris would give me a call back shortly. I called again and hour later and was told she was out to lunch. I called back well after lunch and my information was taken down again. Still no call. I wasn’t even looking to talk to anyone in particular. I was simply looking for a status on my car. I kept being told that only the team member associated with my car repair could answer any questions. It’s absurd that in this day and age, when all of this information is managed via a computer system that any member of their team can’t give you a status on a repair. Any one of them should be able to tell you what is going on with your car. All of them should have access to whatever «notes» are recorded about your repair/​service.
I finally called in closer to their closing time and was finally told that Kris wasn’t even working that day. At this point, I told the team member I spoke with that I wanted to know where my car was and what the status was and that I shouldn’t have to call a million times to find that out. It was at that point he admitted that it was still at the body shop… meaning we are entering the fourth week that they have had my car and yet and still the repair I came in for has not been made. I asked that he contact the body shop because at this point, I don’t want this dealership making any repairs or further assessments on my car. I was assured that the team member would contact the body shop and then contact me about how to pick up the car. I did not receive a call back yesterday in spite of that, and now I can’t get through to the dealership via their phone line.
I’m not sure what the issue is here, but there just seems to be a real lack of motivation to get the work done and general disorganization. I am very surprised by this considering it is a dealership, and as a result of hat you would expect them to have higher standards. Apparently carrying Nissan’s name in big letters in front of the building doesn’t mean much to anyone there.

Scammers. That’s all these people are. They advertised a deal on a Nissan Leaf for $ 16,125 on both
and their own website (which I was smart enough to print). But when I arrived the ads had been removed and the car is now $ 29,000. False advertising is illegal. And the federal trade commission is going to hear about this dealerships shady practices.
I even confirmed the price of the vehicle over the phone before driving all the way out there.
Suuuuuper shady. So much shade.

Tri is the Best! Therefore this Nissan location is outstanding.
Recently purchased a Honda Cr-​Z from Freeway Honda in April and that was my first car buying experience ever and it was Terrible! I was so skeptical about going into the purchase of our second car but Tri really really helped me along the process. I was one of those annoying customers who would show interest one moment and go MIA for a couple days. It took me almost a whole month to finally go into the dealership, but you know what I’m glad I did and I’m glad I went with Tri. It’s his personality, patience and persistency that drove me towards this Nissan. I believe he is a great asset to them. If I ever purchase a third car rest assure I’ll think of Tri first.

Just bought a car from them. Art was an excellent salesperson. He even answered my questions before I had asked. Got everything done real quick and delivered my car on the same day.

This is where my review gets bad. I will never buy another Nissan again. I’ve had my car for a few years now. I bought it brand new and just hit 50k miles and the transmission has already went out. I will never invest money in a Nissan again just for my transmission to go out in me. I’ve had my car serviced regularly kept up on all the maintenance and next thing I know. I can no longer drive my car.

I recently purchased a vehicle at the Costa Mesa Nissan and traded in my previous car.
Remy Rubio is a fantastic salesperson. I’ve purchased and sold several vehicles over the years and this was definitely the most efficient and smooth transaction. I got a fair deal on my old car and some great advice on the new car.
The other people there, such as Miguel Flores and Hector in the financing department were also very professional, friendly and genuine. The whole process was very fast and efficient. My family has bought vehicles from this dealership before and I am glad I did, too.

I’m writing this review today to thank Jeff over at Costa Mesa Nissan. Him and his team are super efficient and on top of their jobs. The service they provided was far more greater than any other car dealership. I was in shock on how fast I was able to get a car that suited me and was affordable and reasonable. No hassle no haggling straight to the numbers board to see me leave happy.
This was a great experience. Thank you tony as well. He was great at making sure all my questions and concerns were addressed.
I would recommend anyone that wants a good deal with no bs to go visit Jeff.

Does not deserve one star! Worst dealership, worst customer service I have ever experienced. I paid extra for the «gold» extended warranty and according to the dealer it covers a catalytic converter that is welded but not bolted of course mine was bolted. Car spent over a month total in the shop with the amount of times I had to take in. New transmission, bolts, plugs, pumps replaced. You name it. I contacted the consumer affairs department at Nissan all they kept saying was «sorry» but did nothing to correct the situation. I will never own another Nissan again and I suggest anyone looking for a Nissan DO NOT GO HERE!
I have to add two more things one is Wyatt the young man who works with the car rentals was very sweet and I’m sorry he has to work there. The part that irritates me the most about this entire thing is that I called the word and tea company on three separate occasions and on three separate occasions I spoke to three people all confirmed that the catalytic converter was covered by my warranty. Then when the specialist called me back they said it wasn’t covered. How is this possible. The sales people in the in the service department kept telling me that my past experiences were because it was under different management however when I checked the dates the current management has been there since September and I had been in there just a couple of months ago none of it made sense. When I finally picked up my car from the dealership I got inside and found the check engine light on as I drove away.
