I’m not sure how sanitary this place could be. First off both the girls serving ice cream did not wear gloves. Nor did I see them wash their hands. This place just doesn’t look as clean as it should be. I ordered a strawberry banana«smoothie» but it had absolutely no texture. It was just strawberry flavored water. –_–

There is no customer service here barely any interaction with the employee and guest. I ordered the brownie a la coldstone and the brownie was cold as if it was barely even warmed up. I can tell because the ice cream wasn’t even melting as it should be if there was a warm brownie underneath? Not the best cold stone I’ve been to, but not the worst. They would get a lot more stars if their employees at least acted to be happy.

If I could rate ZERO stars I would. Walked in at 9:58 while they were serving another customer then the server yelled Sorry We’re Closed. First of all if you are closed why the fuck is your store still open. Two if you are closed why are you still serving one customer third if you’re closed why the fuck do your store hours say 10:00 pm NOT9:58 pm. I’ve worked in customer service for five years and we never turn down someone before closing time. Horrible first impression.

Please don’t order a waffle bowl. They are stale beyond hard not fresh what’s so ever. I use to think that was what made my ice cream complete but I have to say this place don’t care if they sell fresh waffle bowls or not.

The ice cream was good. I’m giving this place two stars because they employees were SO rude. No smiles, no eye contact, all looked like they hated their jobs. I asked for the no fair funnel cake and the employee immediately rolled her eyes. She was stomping around looking for the funnel cake. Told me it would take 10 minutes to cook to try to get me to change my mind. She made me feel as if I was being a pain in the butt for ordering an item on their menu??? Because she was too lazy to make it! Absolutely ridiculous. She should be fired. I walked out of there never wanting to come back. Horrible customer service and lazy employees.

Bought a chocolate cake for my sons birthday and surprise surprise it’s all strawberry ice cream inside. I call them and the say«ops that’s impossible» then I had to bring it back the next day after they Rowan’s the birthday and not even get a sorry. Both times the manger is not there and the girls spent 15 minuets trying to get a hold of him or her to be able to get me my money back. Use to be my favorite ice cream place but no more. Thanks for the crappy QC and service.

Those last two reviews are really outdated! We were there last night and the girls were very nice, attentive and the ice cream was as good as ever. Keep up the good work.

Came here on 6÷20÷15 at 4:23. Only customers there and no ice cream variety whatsoever! Not even the classic chocolate. Only 2 employees there at the time, i got the white boy. Very bad customer service, he gave a huge sigh before he attended us, and he mumbled something under his breathe when i changed my mind for ice cream Flavor. The girl there didnt seem thrilled to be working, poor girl. Small gestures like smiling give a huge impression, this place deserves 0 stars

Went in last night with the family. Hand written signs were posted everywhere that they were accepting cash only. I don’t normally carry cash, but I just happened to have a $ 50 emergency bill tucked away in my wallet. We ordered 4 different items and the total came out to $ 19. Came to hand them the $ 50, and they said«sorry, no bills over $ 20!» Wth??? If your machines are down and can only accept cash, why then are you not accepting anything higher than a $ 20 bill???

We felt like a treat after seeing a movie, so popped in. The wait was way too long even when the line wasn’t. The staff was oblivious to everyone waiting and worked at doing anything but helping customers! ITTOOKFOREVER! The cookies ‘n cream was WAYTOOSWEET. It was not worth the wait, the money or the calories. This proved to be no treat and I won’t be back!

Worst customer service. The employees are rude and have attitude. When I used to live in Aliso Viejo I remember the staff singing songs when you tip and in general pretty cheery. Not here. I don’t know what changed, but at this location they want you to get your order and get out. Irritable staff when going to get ice cream kills the mood. If it wasn’t for the ice cream, I would give this place one star. You can’t go wrong with ice cream and you can’t be upset eating it. Ice cream makes everything better, but it doesn’t excuse terrible service. My grandmother doesn’t speak english very well and they were not at all patient or polite. Apparently the girls working that night never learned to respect the elderly.

I came here today, actually just left with my mom and I must say the customer service by Alondra was amazing. I feel like every time I come here, the employees are rude and not engaging which is a huge let down because 1. This is supposed to be a fun experience and 2. I’m a former employee(not this location), so I know the expectations. Alondra was patient and kind and alone. She opened the store alone and had a line of customers and treated everyone with kindness. My only complaint is the ceiling is kind of gross and unsanitary! I get tossing ice cream and having fun, but cleanliness is a must! Great Job Alondra!

I am a fan of Cold Stone and this one is centrally located with the Metro Point 12 Movie Theaters; so you can go to a movie and have dessert afterward. I have been to Cold Stone locations throughout the United States and this one does something that no other location has ever done while I was there. When you order a regular ice cream without toppings, they’ll roll it up and then toss it in the air and catch it in the cup. They’ll even throw it down the serving line and catch it the same way. Quite frankly, we thought it was pretty cool. Definitely gets your attention. Quite fun.

Its been a long time since Ive been in a cold stone but since I was shopping and remembered I received a gift card, decided to treat myself. I got the Strawberry Blonde which is strawberry ice cream, graham crackers, caramel, and strawberries. It was ok. The strawberries were clearly still frozen. There was a long line but went pretty quickly, specially after the couple in front of me got frustrated from waiting and decided to leave. They have one person assisting each group, which means that if you’re in a group ordering multiple items, the same person will take care of you even if it takes longer. The lady in front of me wasn’t happy that one of the girls was helping me because she was in front and it «wasn’t fair» since her group wasnt done ordering yet. Smallest size started at $ 5ish, $.79 extra for a kids size sugar cone. Pretty pricey for an ice cream that wasnt«massaged» very much.

Im looking into the rules of coldstone right now but basically I wanted 3 flavors of ice cream placed side by side. Id say 70% of the time, they give it to me, no argument. But the other 30% of the time including tonight, the employee tells me that they can only give 2 flavors. I offer to PAYEXTRA for the extra flavor and get a no-can-do answer. I dont ask for a hook up or for them to make a special exception, I actually super nicely offer to PAYMORE. So if Im willing to give you a couple extra bucks for an extra flavor, you just simply prefer I change my mind and walk out? How is that a wise business choice? Update:I spoke with a former employee and they are supposed to be as many flavors as you want, upcharge may apply. So this location just doesnt wanna help anyone.

Good service, enthusiastic ice cream creators(whatever their correct names are) and yummy. I’ve had trouble in the past with Cold Stone employees skimming on the ice cream, not at this location. Our server seemed very happy to be at work, she even showed a couple of tricks by throwing the ice cream balls in the air and catching them with the cup(nice)! She overloaded my Like It cup with my favorite, the Founder’s Favorite. I love Cold Stone, I love this location!

Cold Stone Creamery is ssoooooo delicious. I go for the like it size, half black cherry, half sweet cream with graham cracker! I know I shouldn’t eat so much dairy, but that little cup if ice cream is so GD perfect tasting that I ignore any possible stomach cramps(from all that whole milk I can’t quite digest). LOL! I am a sucker for pain. They have tons of ‘creations’ where there is a set price or you can custom make your own and pay for the additional add-ins. Note that it can get expensive if you want 3+ add-ins/toppings. I usually tip the workers esp. when they give me a lot of ice cream. Love it! Prob good that the one near me is on an annoying corner of Artesia Blvd. and I never ever wanna pull into it. But yum! Best ice cream ever. Oh, and they have pre-made ice cream cakes and cupcakes, too!
