I hired this company for my wedding on ¹⁰⁄₁₀ at The Biltmore Four Season in Santa Barbara and I am so glad I did! I had the pleasure of working with Tim Coy and he is the best DJ! He is classy, respects the event and kept the party going! He is based out of OC — but will make the drive to other places. He has great prices and an awesome song list. If there is a song you want he will get it for you! Hire this company for any event and you will be happy you did! Tim was the easiest /​coolest vendor to work with! He puts your mind at ease. Tim was terrific! In our conversations Tim stressed his awareness of the requirements to the timeline and preference of the bride and groom. He explained that he does whatever it takes to make sure everything runs smooth. He didn’t let us down one bit, he was professional, reasonable and great to work worth with. During the event, Tim came over to give us a heads up of the upcoming activities; during the toast he walked over and made sure we had champagne for the toast. When he saw we didn’t he walked over to the head table and brought us our glasses. I don’t think many other DJ’s would step outside there area to ensure the everything runs smooth, he took the initiative at every activity to make sure we had nothing to worry about. Speak to Tim and you will understand the professionalism that separates him from «DJs» his attitude and approach to weddings is exactly what you would want to keep the event running without a hitch.

About a week before our wedding he was in touch with us got all the questions out of the way to make sure itwas everything we wanted. He was great and he made sure no one missed anything! We used California DJs for our wedding in July 2015. The DJ was amazing. He went above and beyond the entire day. Our wedding planner was useless and the DJ made everything run so smoothly. All our friends and family were asking where we found him. The lighting was amazing, we had the premier package and the spot lights made the place look so special. I really can’t say enough good things about them. They were our best vendor and would recommend them to anyone.

Working with Tim for our clients wedding was a great experience! He arrived on time, was responsive to my emails and a very pleasant and professional person to work with as wedding coordinator and DJ correspondence. We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception and Tim DJ’d and MC’d our event. We could not be happier with our decision. We used California DJ’s for a 60^th birthday party this last weekend and highly recommend them! We knew of them from a wedding we attended and know that they are able to keep everyone from age 20 — 80 on the dance floor. They are professional, easy to work with and know how to keep the party moving smoothly. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone!

Tim Coy of Pacific Events is amazing! Not only was he our first choice for DJ /​MC /​Videographer /​Photographer, but he was also a SUPER wonderful guy to work with on our recent wedding reception. Initially, we were planning on hiring DJ iPod to host our event, but in the end I am so happy we hired Tim! During the planning /​scoping phase he worked with us on all of the costs while making helpful, but not pushy, suggestions. He also introduced us to our team of three photographers and personally became our wonderful MC and DJ for the night.
During the event, his one of a kind voice directed guest through the night’s itinerary and when it came to the INCREDIBLY dreaded first dance, he helped this groom along by trimming the fat from the song and making the pomp and circumstance as short as possible. Additionally, he allowed us to pick our ambient music and he complimented our dance selections perfectly. As MC, he worked with our event planner to ensure everything ran smoothly and adjusted our schedules if Aunt Shelly needed «just one more photo.»
To top off the perfect execution, Tim sent us a wonderful sizzle reel of our night. It was a short, but very meaningful clip from the aforementioned dance that even made my two left feet look good. I am so happy we met Tim and look forward to working with him and Pacific Events again soon!

Tim got the party started and kept it going! Tim was our DJ for my Halloween/​birthday party. I called him with a list of songs with a request to keep us dancing & let me tell you we danced! Everyone had the best time & great memories were made. Tim has a charisma that most Djs don’t and he kept us entertained. Tim was excellent he was quick to accommodate requests, the lighting was perfect, and the music was great. All my guests complimented on the DJ and how he made the party so much fun. I would highly recommend Tim to host your next event!

I called Tim about 5 days before our holiday party looking for a DJ since another company didn’t follow through with us. Tim was great he worked with us on every aspect and got me a DJ booked and confirmed the same day! Tim saved the day for me so I didn’t have to tell my staff we couldn’t get a DJ for our end of the year party. The day of the event Danny showed up on time and set up and got going, he was super nice and fun and the staff said all great things about him!

Tim was absolutely fantastic. He was our DJ and Emcee at our wedding in October. He was extremely considerate, courteous with our family and friends and the music was seamless. He made the whole day so incredibly relaxing. We will book Tim for any event we ever do in the future.

I met Tim Coy from California DJs a few years ago at a corporate event and kept his contact information because he seemed very professional and good at what he does. When I started planning my wedding I immediately reached out to see if Tim would be available and he was! My husband and I were more than impressed with him at our wedding. He has a wonderful, confident voice and his timing is excellent. He reached out to us in advance of the wedding to go over every detail and song we wanted, he made great recommendations for a few which we took him up on, and I even sent him an extensive list of over 40 dance songs to play and was very happy to hear them playing all night! It made our reception so much fun and my friends loved the music and many said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. In addition a group of us had been practicing a choreographed swing dance for months to perform at the wedding and I reached out to Tim to see if he could splice the music together at the right count since we went right from our first dance into the choreographed swing dance. He did it for us with no problem and had great suggestions for how we could seamlessly have our group come out and start the next dance after our first dance. He paused the music perfectly! Then on top of it all he gave us a CD that contained all of the songs he had played at our wedding so we always have it for memories!!! It was a perfect experience all the way around and I would recommend him to anyone for any type of event.

Amazing! Tim just did our wedding last night and all of our guests including my husband and I loved him! From the beginning, he listened to what we wanted and was very professional. Professional, diligent, friendly and amazing! Just a few words that accurately represent Tim and his company. We got married on ⁴⁄₆ at Villa Del Sol D’ Oro in Sierra Madre, CA. TIM’s execution of the music was perfect! He even had to custom edit a few songs for us as our wedding set up was unique and he nailed it. We would highly recommend Tim to anyone looking for a wedding DJ! With all of the stress we had that led up to the wedding knowing all of the music was in Tim’s hands relieved all of our stress. My husband and I hired California Djs for our wedding last month. We met with Tim Coy back in March when we hired them. He made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. He worked with our budget and modified our package to fit our needs perfectly. The whole process with booking, choosing our music and timeline was so user friendly. Jonah was our DJ and made our night perfect. He followed our timeline exactly as we discussed, made sure everything was in order for us.
The photo booth we ordered from them was all our guests could talk about. Everyone had so much fun and at the end if the evening we were given a custom scrapbook with all of the photos from the night.

Simply stated we were blown away at what Tim did at our wedding. Tim knew all the music we wanted played and kept the party going with his own choices that fit right in with our party.
The most important thing Tim did was basically run the show. We did not have a wedding coordinator so the wedding basically hung in the balance banking on the job of our venue and our DJ. What a job they did. I did not realize how vital a DJ is to the overall success of a wedding and Kate and I feel so lucky we found Tim. He kept us on our overall time frame and basically orchestrated everything so perfect. I am still in amazement over how well it went and one of the biggest parts besides Kate saying yes is California DJ’s and Tim.
