Been getting treatment here for 7 months now. I met these professionals at a work health fair. At this point, I’ve experienced much improvement from neck/​shoulder/​joint pain/​numbness in my fingers — all derived from a desk/​computer job. Results from going to this office have proven to be more effective than previous other chiropractic office visits. The treatment plan is progressive; I’m in here everyday until I can be on a maintenance plan.
This office has 3 awesome doctors, and 2 assistants whom I’ve become laughing buddettes with. The equipment is modern and their techniques are catered to «correct». I don’t feel like I’m visiting just to get spine cracked.
Other available services and treatment equipment at this office are massage therapy, physical therapy, DRX9000, Leander Machine (one I call the mermaid training machine) — you’ll know why if you ever have to use it ;-)
Their therapists are licensed and certified.
My doctor uses an adjustment technique while I sit in a chair versus a table. The effect of spine/​muscle tension release reaches further down the spine this way. Just imagine all the organs getting its dose of oxygen and blood flow YAHOO!
The best tip I’ve learned is if you get your teeth bones cleaned every six months, all the MORE IMPORTANT to get your spine in line as it houses every nerve that leads to every organ your body uses to function. That is REAL :-)

I have had chronic lower back pain for years from snowboarding falls. Since I have been under the care of Dr. Brett Lukas, my pain has decreased dramatically. The DRX machine, which decompresses the spine, has helped reduce my bulging discs. It is obvious that Dr. Lukas really cares about my health and helping it function optimally. He has also been providing care to my wife and my 3 month old daughter, which speaks to how much I trust him.

This past week I made an effort to put my phone down and walk away. After being on the cruise and not having access to my normal social media and phone calls, I realized I was more in the moment. My neck and hands hurt less too. Text neck is a real condition that my kids and I have, as many of us do. I’m making sure I reverse this condition with less time on my phone and regular visits to my chiropractor. Dr. Tyler Houston in Newport Beach is helping us. Be proactive if you have neck pain. I have had back problems ever since I can remember. My mom referred me to Dr. Belling and he helped straighten out my back which even helped with issues in my feet. There is also a massage therapy room in this office so you can get your back straightened out then get all the knots out after. You’ll wake up feeling brand new.

Dr. Rick Belling is the best chiropractor I have had! My husband, my daughter, myself, best friends, and at least 6 other friends have been going to him for over 5 years! We would not go to anyone else! He truly cares for his patients. He is very easy to talk to, and he goes above and beyond to help us! You know he must be awesome, since the amount of 5 stars he has received are MANY! No one has the touch that Dr. Belling has! I am shocked to see a few less than 5 stars. I feel this is impossible! I do realize some people will find fault on all things around them, that’s just life, but this is no fault of Dr. Belling. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Belling for chiropractic services!

I have been a patient at Backbay Wellness for the last 4 years. Dr. Belling is very professional and gets results and the relief I needed. He is very caring and personable and thoroughly explains your treatment plan. Chrystal gives great messages and really gives wonderful effective and cleansing deep tissue massage. Kirby the PT is also caring, pleasant and works with you to get the results you need.

Highly recommend Dr. Belling!!! About 2 years ago I was being scheduled for major neck surgery. I was fortunate that a friend of mine introduced me to Dr. Belling. She told me how he was able to save her from having major surgery as well. Even my Surgeon said about 6 months ago that Dr. Belling treatments are working! He said I should continue treatment and avoid surgery for as many years as possible. They offer a wide variety of services, they are not your typical chiropractic office. I can’t thank him enough for restoring my quality of life!

I have been going to Dr. Belling for 18 years, he is by far the best chiropractor I have ever been to. Just recently I had a neck injury and the orthopedic doctor told me not to get adjusted right away or even at all. Thank god I don’t listen. I just got adjusted yesterday after dying in pain for 3 days. Immediately I had instant pressure released from my neck and my range of motion was so much better after that one adjustment and today was even better. Dr. Belling saved me and always has for the last 18 years! Thank you!

So went in for an hr massage had Crystal the massage was okay I got down to a rash from the oil or lotion that was used. The end of the massage was awkward and Crystal just walked out of the room I wasn’t sure who I should tip she was no longer around and not up in the front. Sorry im usually a nice tipper :/
As far as the chiropractor session we did find a lot of problem parts on my back he wasn’t very pushy on selling sessions which was nice. Three stars for the doc 2 stars for crystal. Wasn’t impressed.

You will LOVE Dr. Belling. I’ve also seen the other chiropractors in the office and they are equally great. I love this practice because they are an all-​around care center. They have a decompression table, several physical therapy machines, massage therapy, and acupuncture.
The location is very convenient (once you figure out to drive around the back of the building), clean, and the office staff is amazing!

This is the place to go if you have neck issues. Dr. Rick Belling is the neck king! He adjusts your neck Gonstead style which is above and beyond the typical chiropractic adjustment. You’ll notice your body respond immediately! Plus, he has a spinal decompression table which avoids surgery! I am now a believer! Being pain-​free from neck/​shoulder/​back issues is amazing!
I spend hours each day on a computer and a monthly maintenance adjustment from Dr. Belling keeps me functioning!

This is a great place for a theraputic massage. I see people complaining on Unilocal who bought Groupon’s and expecting a «relaxation» massage. This is a chiropractor, not a day spa. They are at the end of John Wayne airport so you do get the airplane noise, as all business in that area do. They are prompt & the office is clean and orderly. I have had 2 massages by Crystal now & she is great. If you want a relaxation, Sweedish massage… go to a day spa. Otherwise, if you are looking to get the kinks worked out, I highly recommend this place!

Why is it that I’m always waiting for chiropractors after lunch? Not the cleanest office here. My massage was great — I liked the masseuse. The doctor was extremely thorough but pushed me to buy packages. It was convincing I’ll admit.

I started going to chiropractors in the 90’s to help ease neck problems. Most of the chiropractors could get my neck to move OK but my back would never budge. After a serious back injury I continued to seek treatment for that with limited success. Unfortunately I was pushed into major back surgery before I knew how much good the right chiropractor could do. The surgery permanently destroyed my back. That was before I met Dr. Belling. I have also seen dozens of medical doctors over the years and all are at a loss as how to fix my back. After more than a dozen years, the only relief that I get any more is from a good chiropractic adjustment. The best part of chiropractic is that it has no undesirable side effects like the drugs and surgery did that was pushed on me by doctors.
Dr. Belling is a kind and gentle man who genuinely cares about his patients (hard to find these days). He is relentless when it comes to dealing his patient’s health issues. All the chiropractors that I saw before him tried many times to get my back to move (which was quite stuck) but just gave up and accepted that it wasn’t ever going to move. Not Dr. Belling — he was VERY persistent and with a lot of hard work managed to get excellent movement.
After years of taking pain medicine I developed chronic nausea where sometimes I am unable to keep food down for up to a week. I have been hospitalized for this more than once but they were never able to do anything for me other than IV fluids to keep me alive. They couldn’t help one bit with my nausea or my ever increasing discomfort. After several days I checked myself out against doctor’s recommendations because I knew who could make me feel better. After 10 minutes with Dr. Belling that evening, my condition immediately began improving. By the time I got home I was able to eat again for the first time in days.
I had no idea before that chiropractic could fix so many ailments. Over the years Dr. Belling has fixed everything on me from back pain to migraines — nasal congestion to menstrual cramps — nausea to arthritis and the list goes on. Whenever I get an adjustment I am able to reduce my pain medicine for quite a while afterwards. I was diagnosed with a cartilage disease in my knees (condro malatia) in my teens. For years the doctors pushed knee surgery on me as walking became more difficult. I wisely refused. A few years ago I mentioned this to Dr. Belling and he suggested that he try and fix it. He pressed and pulled on my knees for a short while and they felt much better. After just a couple of these treatments I now have perfectly healthy knees well into my 40’s with no scarring and no recovery time.
This office has a wonderful atmosphere and everyone is extraordinarily friendly. The comfortable waiting room has high end massage chairs for waiting patients and sometimes plays movies. I don’t mind waiting here at all but it is rarely more than a couple minutes. Dr. Belling’s partner, Dr. Morita is also a top notch chiropractor who has worked wonders on me as well. I’m sure that Dr. Houston is fantastic as well, but I am only reporting on my personal experience which is with Drs. Belling and Morita.

I came across Back Bay Wellness through a Living Social deal back in March. It was for a one-​hour massage for like, $ 30 I think, regularly $ 60. (Prices could be wrong, I can’t remember).
Anyway, I had some free time yesterday & made an appointment for that afternoon.
I arrived a few minutes late (finding the unit was a little bit confusing, despite the instructions I received on the phone) and after filling out a brief form, was taken back to a room by Crystal.
We briefly spoke about problem areas that I have (shoulders & neck from swimming and food-​serving). I dunno, it was kind of awkward the way she consulted me. She was on her way out the door to let me change when in a way she’s like, ‘Oh yeah, what are you here for?‘
I un-​dressed and waited for Crystal to come back in, she asked me what sort of pressure I liked & I said medium… you never know what a medium pressure is to therapists. It started out ok. but when she got into my left shoulder, the pain was terrible. I asked her to ease on the pressure which she did.
I tried to relax after that, but it was near to impossible. The location is very close to John Wayne airport, so every few minutes I could hear the loud planes over the building departing & arriving. The walls of the room were so thin, I could hear conversations happening outside and next door to me. I could hear people stomping down the hallway and laughing at dumb jokes.
Honestly, all I could think about was the review I was going to write on Unilocal instead of thinking of how ‘relaxed’ I was.
I turned over as she massaged my scalp and chest. I knew it was going to end soon (yes!).
She said, ‘Okay, that’s it!’ And walked out. I don’t know if it was because i was a ‘discounted’ customer who got the massage from Living Social, or that’s just how she does her massages, but it seemed so half-​ass. I was less than impressed.
I forgot to tip her on the way out. Probably because it was an awkward goodbye. I was almost turned down the hallway when she called to me and asked how I felt. Seriously? Doesn’t seem professional. Moreso lazy. But, Crystal, if you’re reading this, I’m sorry I forgot to tip you. I always tip.
I finally did relax, though– when I left Back Bay Wellness.

I purchased the living social deal for a 1 hour massage at Back Bay Chiropractic. I had my massage with Crystal yesterday.
Service — The chiropractor, office staff, and massage therapist were all wonderful. I was given information on chiropracty and their specific services (as I would expect from a deal) but they were courteous and not pushy about it.
Location — They are located on the backside of the Back Bay Center which was a little confusing. There was plenty of parking though and good signage. The actually office is clean and nice, though the walls are incredibly thin. I was hoping for a relaxing massage, but the sound of people talking in the halls, planes flying overhead, and noise like an elevator motor were a bit distracting.
Massage Service — The massage was nice. Crystal took the full hour massaging my whole body. The chiropractor warned me that she was tough, and she really was. I was a bit sore the rest of the day. If you like deep tissue this is the massage for you.
Overall — Overall I recommend Back Bay Chiropractic. Really the only negative part was the noise. For the rest of the office this is fine, but I like to relax when I’m getting a massage.
