Great service!!! I was in a jam with a broken spring which had been discontinued. Morgan was great, he was able to change out the spring system for me at a great price!

I just had Jeremy at Avaunt Garage Doors install a new (and extremely quiet) Genie garage door opener. Could not be more pleased with this company and his expertise and professionalism. After having a different company out that was less than reputable (Garage Door Service and Repair) I would give Avaunt more than 5 stars if possible. Morgan, the owner, was extremely helpful over the phone with answering all my questions. After the install I called for one minor door adjustment and Jeremy was promptly back out to adjust the door perfectly at no charge and told me not to hesitate to call if there were any further issues. These guys are just the best!

I first called Avaunt Garage Doors and spoke with Morgan in 2005. We had had a Wayne Dalton garage door and opener installed by another company about 5 years earlier. The opener was acting up and the installation company was nowhere to be found. This was one of the early versions of the WD iDrive openers. Our garage has a very low ceiling and although a conventional opener would work, the motor would hang to just over 6 feet off the floor.
I found Avaunt through the Wayne Dalton website. In speaking with Morgan I was very impressed with his knowledge of this opener and the issues that it was known to have. Although the warranty had expired Morgan was able to get us a replacement, upgrading to the iDrive Pro, due to the issues with the original model. All we were charged was labor.
Unfortunately, the iDrive Pro proved to have its own set of issues. Morgan made a couple of other trips out to our house to service, adjust, etc., and eventually replace the motor unit of this opener as well. Each visit Morgan took the time to explain our options, provide his recommendations, answer our questions, etc., Once again he did his best to keep the prices down for us. The new motor unit was an updated model and everything worked fine… until about 2 weeks ago.
Once again the opener started acting up. It would jam, luckily in the down position, and was near impossible to open. Again Morgan took my call, walked me through some checks, and provided me with our options. We were able to reset the opener a couple of times, but eventually it failed completely. The opener would not respond to resetting and it was near impossible to open by hand. Morgan surmised, correctly, that the WD Torquemaster spring, a known point of failure, was shot.
We pulled the trigger and made the decision to go with the Liftmaster 8500. At this point Morgan informed me he couldn’t get to us for almost a week. He offered to put us in touch with another installer so we wouldn’t have to wait. No dice. Morgan has our trust and we waited.
Yesterday his Liftmaster specialist, Jeremy, came out to replace the opener. He also had to replace the springs, and part of their service included replacing all of the rollers and lubing the door hinges. Like Morgan, Jeremy was professional and personable. He explained what needed to be done, any options, and answered all of my questions. He was neat and clean and has a very professional demeanor.
We couldn’t be more pleased with the fantastic service we have received from Morgan and Avaunt Garage Doors over the past 11+ years. Should I ever need service on our door again Morgan is the only person I would call. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing a new door, opener, or service. They are 5-​Star all the way.

Jeremy installed the new door, he is extremely knowledgeable courtious and very professional. The garage door looks perfect no exaggeration. I would recommend Avaunt to anyone who needs service or an replacement. Couldn’t be happier with the product.

I had a garage door replaced by these guys and everything went according to plan. They showed up on time for the quote, showed up on time to install and the whole install only took 2 and a half hours. I left them there at 10 in the morning, went to work and got a call 2 and a half hours later telling me they were almost done.
So far so good. no complains. Also, the quotes were competitive. It was about a grand for the specific door+install that i needed per HOA.

Morgan does a great job. I am a real estate broker and I always refer Avaunt Garage Doors to my clients. I have known Morgan for over 12 years and I would not think of referring any other garage door company. It does not matter if it is a small job or a whole new door everyone get that great service. Awesome! Jeremy and Morgan were extremely helpful, professional, and got my new garage door installed which only took an hour! Extremely satisfied on all parts including the price which was only $ 550 for my 2-​car garage door as they re-​used the springs and only needed to replace the panels. Highly recommended — would definitely call again if I need garage work done.

I’m way outside of Avaunt’s service area, but Morgan still helped me figure out what kind of garage door I had and what parts I needed. Wish I could have had him do the work, but I’m just too far away. It’s nice to find someone who will take the time to help you even when they know they’re not going to make any money off of it! I had such a great experience. We bought our house a year ago and we bought a new garage door opener which worked for a couple of months but there was a dent in the door that it kept getting caught on and it finally quit working all together. We thought we would need a whole new door but they were able to fix it for super cheap. He even hooked us up with a new circuit board for our garage door opener at no additional costs. I highly recommend him!

Morgan replied to my message very promptly and came out same day to fix my garage door. He is very friendly, as well as very knowledgeable. He got my door fixed for a very reasonable price (The first joker who came was quoting me almost double that). I appreciate the honesty and integrity of business owners like this. DON’T DO BUSINESS with Anaheim Garage Doors — those guys are awful! The whole need for a new garage door is because the one Anaheim sold us on 7 years ago was collapsing. Garage doors should last a lot longer than 7 years.

My automatic, sectional garage door broke. I needed it fixed. I didn’t want to be cheated, lied to, or have «cheap» work done. I called Morgan at Avaunt Garage Doors. He spoke English (In America??). He was 3 minutes early. He fixed the garage door at the price he quoted. He didn’t try to sell me anything else. He was professional, polite and efficient. Yes, he was a bit pricey.
