Attic Skate Shop

I stopped by today and the employee was extremely friendly and helpful. Looks like they have a pretty good selection of skateboards and parts. They also have a large selection of clothes. They carry snowboards, boots, goggles etc. I’d definitely recommend this place. This place has character.

Attic is one cool place to shop. I have been going there for at least 5 years. Owner is super cool. Staff is great and helpful. They have everything you need for a skateboard set up, snowboarding gear and clothes for all ages. Did I mention shoes… Large variety of shoes to choose from all at reasonable prices. Unfortunately this shop is the reflex of what’s going on with the skateboarding now days, «Up Rivers» trying to take a slice of it, no commitment… If you are a skateboarder or just love it look for a real skateshop near you. Sorry but we need to take care of what is ours. Very bad ATTIC, very bad moves…

I wish I could give this place ZERO STARS. Called on March 12 to see if they were releasing some Nikes and the store employee said they were. Came in the morning waited 3 hours just to be told that 2 other employees were working yesterday and might have been misinformed. How do you not know if you carry Nike or not?! 3 hours of my life I’ll never get back. Listen to everyone else and do not go here. They don’t know what they’re talking about!

I went into attic a while ago to look for a snowboard and the owner and his assistant were not very helpful and were very rude the store looked like a hurricane went through it it was very messy and unorganized. They said they had the best prices in Orange County but I was at another snowboard store and found there prices cheaper and service was a lot better. I would not go back to this business If they were giving snowboards away for free! My review would be to stay away from this place!

Stopped by today and received amazing service and conversation from Technician Chris. He assembled my entire deck/​did a Killer job and did not charge me anything! The BEST service and Shop around.

Everything is overpriced and they don’t have a full inventory. Tried to buy some Bones Original Swiss bearings, they didnt have any. So I asked for the next step down at around $ 30. Forgot the name (turns out to be Bones Super Reds) but they guy told the next step was the Bones Red. Should’ve known better being a longboarder for a while but decided to buy some 6-​ball Bearings. Priced at $ 64 which I bought but thought was pricey and walked out. Then looked at my skateshop-back-home’s website and found out that Bones Super Reds DO exist despite the Attic employee’s insisting. And the 6 balls i bought for $ 64 could be bought on eBay for $ 50 or my home skateshop for $ 49.95.
Maybe I not thinking right but left feeling very pressured and stupid. Looked online and instead felt jipped, taken advantage of, and not informed. Not a good experience. The employee was slightly condescending and insisted that I was not right. Would not recommend to people who want some legit service and a helpful skate shop.
Ended up paying $ 14 bucks extra for bearings that you can find anywhere and ones that I wasnt really looking for.

Talk about great customer service — I was searching high and low for a 13 Jones Mountain Twin in 160 to buy as a surprise Valentine’s Day/​Wedding gift for my new husband.
Attic had the board in stock and when I asked about delivery timing to Mammoth, Brett mentioned he’d be up in the area for an expo and was happy to bring it to me, free of charge. The new board was a huge hit and the best part was being able to surprise my husband Valentine’s morning.
Great customer service and communication throughout the entire transaction. Attic rocks!

Went here today for goggles and a helmet and they were super friendly and helpful. They took out all their goggles from the case to let me try them on, then took pulled out all the helmets in my size to make sure I got the right one. Never tried to upsell me and genuinely cared about finding me the right equipment. I will definitely come back next time I need snowboarding stuff!

The Attic set me up with an awesome kit for snowboarding! I hadn’t snowboarded for about 10 years. The Attic is now my official go to spot for all board sports. I got everything I needed at a fair price. I purchased a board, bindings, boots, pants, gloves, snowboard bag, Jacket, goggles and a helmet. This wasn’t cheap but my equipment is all top notch. Thanks to the attic I am now traveling to Big Bear every time it snows. The staff really helped me get back in to the sport and I am doing well for a 32yo who is getting back in to snowboarding after 10 years. This is one of the best board shops that I have ever been to and they have all the coolest gear. I have gotten many complements about my gear up in the mountains and I credit The Attic for getting me back in the game. I highly recommend checking this shop out. I got everything I needed in one stop and I feel like The Attic provides great service and excellent value for their customers and I highly recommend shopping at this great store!

Excellent shop. Easy to find. Not overly commercial — good mom & pop feel. Plenty of selection for boards, gear and clothing. I was able to find a nice long board with the help of Jeremy. He was able to inform me of all the various types of decks they had and assisted me with finding the right one for my size. Definitely recommended.

I think this place is very cool. The store isn’t that big, but it is stocked with TONS of decks and a cool selection of clothes at great prices. If you like snowboarding, they also have a large snowboard store next door with the same type of selection… you have too look for the store, we actually found it by mistake when we pulled off the road to turn around.

I don’t skate. But my son does so I came here to get him new clothes. The guy that works here was nice and helped me find some stuff for him. They have so much stuff here… From clothing to skate supplies. I felt like a dumb ass after spending $ 136 and only to get home and open up the «Savings in Newport Mesa» coupon book and see that The Attic has great coupon discounts good til ⁶⁄₁₅. oh well…

I Love this Skate Shop they have the best prices on Decks and Completes its amazing! The Owner BRET is awesome and so nice even skateboarded with my 6yr old and taught him how to grind at The Volcom skate park in Costa Mesa. He was never to busy to show us new items and the staff was the same way. I will miss this skate shop very much and prey that they have a great skate shop in Denver. My son even got to meet his first pro skater Omar Hanson there… GREAT SHOP BRET!
