History

Established in 1998.

Aesthetique Laser Institute 1998 in Beverly Hills, California, Aesthetique Laser Institute, Inc. focused own the use of lasers for to treat various skin conditions including tanned and darker skin. This was novel because rarely were there laser centers who could boast being able to treat sun exposed skin and darker skin without burning or scarring. Dr. S. E. McBeth, a graduate of Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Medical School has served as an expert witness and consultant in many laser related legal cases and trained physicians and nurses in the art and science of laser surgery. In 2002, Aesthetique Laser expanded it’s reach to Orange County when it opened in Newport Beach.

Sharon E. McBeth, M.D. is the celebrities’ choice for laser surgery. A graduate of the prestigious Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Medical School, Dr. McBeth founded the Institute in 1998. A fellow of the American Society For Laser Medicine and Surgery she has trained countless Physicians and Registered Nurses in Laser Hair and Vein therapy. Dr. McBeth has spent over 14 years devoted to all forms of medical laser therapy including the new Profractional resurfacing and skin tightening laser by Sciton. A specialist in treating skin with acne and acne scarring using chemical peels, cosmetic laser surgery and laser resurfacing, she is very proud to be able to offer all of these services in her new state-​of-​the-​art practice in Newport Beach. Dr. McBeth strongly believes that each patient should have all of the information available for laser therapy, in order to make an informed decision about the treatment. Dedicated to the art of skin rejuvenation and improving her patient’s self esteem.

I had a frational laser treatment with Dr. McBeth 3 weeks ago. My face looks great, much fresher and tighter. I found Dr. McBeth to be very nice and very knowledgable. I had very little discomfort. She followed up to make sure I was doing well. I plan on getting one more treatment in the fall. I would recommend Dr. McBeth and the Fractional Laser that she uses. Thanks Dr. McBeth.

OMG!!! I wished I could give no stars on this one!!! This was one of the worst experience of my life!!! I had a little trouble scheduling my appoint but when I called and tried to arrange a different time I was treated so rude on the phone. So, I ended up going to the appointment and the rude person was Dr. McBeth!!! She was equally unpleasant in person!!!
I went in for an IPL purchased through Groupon. I had no idea what an IPL was and Dr. McBeth could careless in explaining anything to me. She repeatedly asked me what results that I was looking for. I told her more than once that I didn’t know what to expect… She never once even looked at my face to make any suggestion or consultation. She just continued to talk to me in a demeaning way, so I ended up just walking out. My suggestion would be to talk to the Dr on the phone first and see how she treats you. If you have any doubt, DO NOT GO!!! I do have to say that the receptionist in the front was super nice tho. I hope I can get my money back from Groupon but in hindsight I am so happy that I didnt trust her to even touch my face. I cant imagine was the results might have been.

Outstanding results! I can’t wait to come back and I highly recommend the IPL facial here!

I had recieved my first IPL photo facial at a different clinic and was not impressed whatsoever. I noticed zero difference in my skin. Why did I spend all that money? I found the good reviews online for Dr. McBeth and decided to give it one more try. Dr. McBeth has a gentle, polite way about her. She doesn’t push sales, and she patiently answered all of my questions. She explained the procedure, what to expect, and the after care.

After my IPL my face was very red. Over the next week I had dark spots all over that just seemed to become darker each day. My hyperpigmentation was already a concern, and was the main reason for getting an IPL photofacial. Now I had brown spots and poeple were asking me what happened to my face! After about a week, the dark began slouffing off. I waited a couple more days and then did a gentle exfoliating scrub. The results were phenomenal! My face was soft, smooth, even, toned. My nasty hyperpigmentation was almost non-​existant. I can go on and on. I will never go anywhere else for similar procedures ever again.

I have had microdermabrasion, glycolic, laser facelifts– you name it. As a real person with real skin issues, I will tell you this is the best procedure I have ever had done.
**Make sure you arrive early. The office is somewhat challengeing to find your first time there, but the receptionist is very sweet. She actually stayed on the phone with me the entire time while I parked and then found the office.

Love Aesthetique Laser Institute! I bought a Groupon for an IPL photo facial. I always do homework when it’s something that if done poorly would be irreversible. Have treatments on your face is a serious consideration as it is right out there for the world to see. I saw excellent reviews and was not disappointed. I received a confirmation email with the paperwork so no time was wasted on appointment day and a very detailed description of what to expect. Dr. McBeth, her nurse Viktoriya and office staff are very friendly and professional. I had melanoma 14 years ago and they were very knowledgeable about the contraindications regarding it and laser treatments. The procedure was explained fully, both before and during. It’s unusual to have the doctor perform these procedures, but she did. I made my second appointment the same day as my first IPL I was so impressed. I received a follow-​up email and I know if I had any concerns (I don’t) that Dr. McBeth would have answered immediately. I would give more than 5 stars if they were available!

I came into Aesthetique Laser via Living Social’s IPL promo and I loved it so much that I have returned for laser hair removal treatment. Dr. McBeth was amazing and made me very comfortable as I was very nervous. I had never gotten any of this type of work done before and even though Aesthetique’s website is very thorough she was still very patient and understanding in explaining the procedure to me. The staff was very professional and I had NO difficulties when making an appointment. It’s like the other review is from a completely different place… strange.
Oooooh and I also love that the website gives such thorough directions because I seriously needed them and I hate calling to ask!

Bought vouchers from Living Social and just couldn’t get an appointment whatsoever. The rep on the phone refused to take an appointment for LS vouchers by telephone. It has to go through their appt-​request website. I’ve submitted numerous requests without any replies. I also called many times explaining the no-​reply to them without success. Seems like they don’t want to redeem the LS vouchers. If you have one of those LS vouchers, I’d recommend canceling it before expiration so that at least you get your $$ back.
