Splash Car Wash

I asked for a regular wash with mats shampooed. They handed me a ticket for $ 58!!! I told them I wanted just my mats cleaned and the cashier changed it to $ 34. When I got back in my car they had washed only 4 of my 5 mats and did not wipe down the dash or console. Coffee stains were still there. Overpriced, took too long and not clean. Maybe it was a bad day?

don’t go here… their washing rags are not clean and your car smell like a sewer afterwards…

Went in for my 3 day free return wash and it easy peasy. Didn’t have to purchase anything else to get it. Just went and they scanned my barcode and done! Went into store and grabbed a drink and paid at the register. Car was waiting for me outside cleaned inside and out. It took about 10 mins and well worth the good feeling I have again with my clean car. Thanks guys, keep up the good work!

Little expensive, but very happy with the full interior and exterior that was done. Super thorough. Definitely will be coming back

I just don’t get Splash — or better, they just don’t get it. Every time I have taken my car there, they miss spots, especially the wheels. I complained a couple of years ago and again in May when they missed spots and then put wax sealant over the dirt. In May I wrote a Unilocal review and was contacted by the CEO who said he wanted to make things right. So he had his manager redo the car and even give me a free voucher. While I appreciated the redo, I tried to tell them that their cleaning process was lacking (I’ll get to that in a moment) and they needed to look at it. The really didn’t seem interested but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and removed my review.
I took the car back about 5 weeks ago (didn’t even use my voucher but instead purchased the works) and it came out with missed spots and the wheels were hardly cleaned — in fact, they looked worse since half was clean and the other half covered in that black grime.
As I pointed out to them before, the problem with the process is that they put the car on a conveyer and two guys clean the car as it passes by — maybe 30 seconds or so of actual hand cleaning. Well duh! Yo can’t hand clean a car properly that quickly even with each guy using two cleaning mitts. (Also, they don’t seem to work top down — so the grit from the around the wheel wells and bottom skirt of the car can be picked up by the mitts and can potentially scratch the upper more visible parts of the car. A proper cleaning starts with a good rinse to get the loose dirt off and then with the sponges/​mitt at the top and works down. When you get to the bottom you need to stay there and definitely rinse the mitts/​sponges before going back up. Wheels should be cleaned with a separate sponge/​mitt.)
So the process is lacking, but to top it off, once the car is rinsed, no one actually looks at it. A team of guys starts drying and cleaning windows and tires, but they seem oblivious to the missed spots.
Everyone is nice and wants to make me happy, and I hate to slam them, but it’s just so stupid. They have several guys spending several minutes vacuuming and cleaning the interior at the start. Then several guys drying and cleaning for several minutes at the end, but the actual washing is two guys for 30 seconds and not doing it properly or thoroughly. And no one is checking that it is done right.
I probably wouldn’t have written this if they hadn’t sent me a coupon saying they wanted me back [as a customer], but it just ticked me off remembering the frustration at seeing all the missed spots and how simple it would be for them to fix their process without any real extra cost.

Greenwich, rip-​off. Waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy overpriced considering time & effort. $ 35.00 for «The Works» and your dash doesn’t even get a treatment. Save your money and get a better wash, for at least a third less, elsewhere.

The best. They’re friendly. Very thorough. Great stuff in waiting room. A little upsell but that’s their job. I wish they were up in Stamford.

20 minutes in a Friday afternoon at 3:30 with only 3 other cars in the entire process. The guy saw me look down at my watch and that’s when things really slowed down. There were 3 people wiping down the car ahead of mine for 4 –5 minutes minutes then they did a quick bad job on mine. Will never go back here again!
Entered car wash ~3:27, guy took my order ~3:29, sat 3 – 4 minutes waiting for vacuum, paid ~3:36 (car was just entering wash after I finished paying), car arrived out ~3:40, car sat until 3:45/3:46 while team of 3 took their time on the other car after they noticed I was in a rush, left ~3:48. Not 12 — 15 minutes. I’m not looking for a free wash, I just expect your employees to provide good service, work diligently and not act like a bunch of children.

terrific car wash. excellent customer service an the guys and gals who do the work are very detail oriented. I went there most recently during their customer appreciation week and it was fantastic. They had all sorts of giveaways and promotions and, although I didn’t win anything, it was still a great atmosphere. I cannot imagine having my car washed anywhere else

Everyone’s always friendly and I guess it’s good for wealthy people. however if I’m spending $ 60 to get my car washed and vacuumed I expect all the dirt, hair and crumbs to be cleaned up, which unfortunately it is not most times I’ve gone to splash.

Big fan of the splash brand. Driving by in Cos Cob saw the sign and pulled in. It never disappoints, friendly staff, fast and quality service.

It is comforting to know that more and more Splash Hand Car Washes are opening as time goes by. I am a big car enthusiast and a long time patron of Splash. I have visited many of their location but would like to highly praise the Cos Cob, CT location. from the greeter to the cashier to the guy that closes your door when you get in, you will get nothing but courtesy and smiles. The washing of course is impeccable. I have never left there unhappy because the employees notice if the car is not clean to their high expectations they will run it again and make sure that it exceeds the customers. A big thank you to Jose and Claudio for always taking great car of my cars.
