Meet the Manager

caitlin McVarish and Mohsen Alidadi A.

Manager

Starting in fabric design, sourcing and production, Caitlin has been working with textiles for over 20 years. She has lived and worked California, Italy and the East Coast. Since joining Apadana 6 years ago Caitlin thinks working with hand knotted carpets is the perfect combination of her degree in Cultural Anthropology and background in design. One of the things she enjoys most is «coaching» clients toward rug choices that compliment their home environment and lifestyle.

Mohsen Alidadi– Owner.

Mohsen founded this family run company in New York City over a quarter of a century ago. The Alidadi family lineage traces back to Iran, where his father devoted a lifetime to the art of selecting quality rugs and gave this legacy to his sons. With generations of knowledge behind him, you can feel confident in his expertise in selecting rugs.
