I’m so not used to the type of experience I had here today. It started out normal, got seated right away, maybe ten people in the entire restaurant. Our server came to get our drink order as soon as we were seated, then we ordered our food. We didn’t see our server much after that, So 27 minutes later they come and inform us they are out of an item we ordered and ask what to replace it with? Really, 27 minutes!!! So at it 37 minutes we get our food, cold, old fries, you can tell that they set around while they were dealing with their lack of inventory. My sons burger we was wrong but we didn’t want to wait another 40 minutes for a new one. The rice that came as a side was so old it was hard on the bottom, again set on hot surface while dealing with the one item they were out of. Also my salad that I paid $ 6.50 for was just iceberg lettuce. I can’t believe our server, who brought our food out, knowing how long we waited, would allow it to come out like that. You could visually tell the fries were old. She didn’t much seem to care, she didn’t send management to check on us knowing what our ticket time was. I basically threw money out the window, if I wanted to eat crap we could have ate fast food for half the cost. I will never visit this place again.

1. The waitress came to the front door and looked at us and walked away. I started talking to her and she looked back at me and kept walking away. 2. My buddy is blind(wearing sunglasses and cane) and they still handed a menu. No offer of a menu in brail or to answer any of his questions. Have you ever tried to read an entire menu to someone? 3. Having to wait a significant amount of time on our waiter. 4. Receiving dirty flatware, twice. 5. The manager never came around to see how anyone in the restaurant was doing. Follow up: The corporate office received this information and past that information to the store manager. The store manager contacted me directly and apologized. Just the fact that the corporation took the time to follow with my initial review, earns them 3 more stars.

The food was luke warm at best, including the side salad, and my steak was undercooked twice. Since I had so much trouble getting the steak cooked right, I thought I would be offered a free dessert. When that didn’t happen I asked for my dinner to be taken off the check. The bread is delicious. Don’t think I will be back.

My sister lives near Corydon. So this is one of the few nearby places. Not much where my sister lives. I was there visiting my parents during my b-day. My sister offered to pay for dinner and we picked O’Charley’s. I ordered a ribeye steak medium rare. So, my niece went there to pick it up. Now the fun(mess) begins. My sister lives about 10 minutes away. After calling it in and 35 minutes went by, my sister got worried and called my niece. Now it gets better!!! 1) they had my niece wait at the bar(she’s 17) so this was idiotic 2) when the food was ready, they forgot where they told my niece to wait and couldn’t «find» her. Therefore, the food sat around for God knows how long 3) they wouldn’t accept a coupon my niece had because«their machine was down» 4) when she finally got back, my steak of course was nearly well done… Not close to medium rare This place sucks…

Choose this restaurant because of limited options in the town and I had a coupon. However, the only reason I’m giving the extra star is because I only ended up paying for my one drink. I had dinner with a friend, who showed up before me, we’re easy going people especially with one drink down, but we found ourselves sadly disappointed in a place we’ve received wonderful hospitality before. We had to wait 30 minutes for a table. That’s because the servers are scarce. They don’t have many and the ones they have don’t make many appearances. Neither did the manager. Our drinks and rolls arrived just fine and the male waiter we had was just fine. However he was only around when bringing drinks or rolls to tables and to greet them. Another staff brought our meal, which didn’t even look like food I’ve seen served there countless years before. I thought something was off when I realized I hadn’t received my salad yet. When my salad arrived, I had already started on my main course so once I attempted to eat it, I was disgusted to find a hair in my salad. I’m not the type of person to complain and want a new one, but I did bring it to their attention because I was disappointed elsewhere too. The waiter was understanding and retrieved a new salad«made by the manager himself» okay well how about he just come check on us himself. Then we could let him know that we normally don’t think twice about coming here but we will in the future and tell everyone to do the same! I gave some credit because like I said the waiter let me know the manager comped me 50% instead of 20% coupon I had. To add to what I’ve listed, the fries were not seasoned(we both got them) she ate the spinach dip for a meal and the chips were over fried and not edible. The sirloin I ordered was lack luster as well. Tasted burnt even with a pink middle and A1.

Over all the food was good but the bathrooms could use a good cleaning and one of the waitress went to the bathroom and didn’t wash her hands…

I’m only giving this place two stars because of the waitress– she was attentive and friendly, no problem there at all. The problems came with the food. My rice was crunchy and obviously not cooked, and my tilapia was dry, overcooked, and under seasoned. My wife’s chicken tenders were soggy, and halfway through the meal, she found a hair on her baked potato that obviously wasn’t hers because it was blond, and she is a brunette. This was our first and last time eating here.

Very good(not great) steak, nice waitstaff. I didn’t give it 5 stars only because they have smelly ass carpet throughout. I had a sirloin steak that was quite good. The thing that was really awesome was their tomato and basil soup. It wasnt that pretty… i thought they sent me a bowl of spaghetti sauce, but then i took my first taste — DIZAM… was it good. It is an ugly little greasy concoction, but damn is it good. I doubt i will ever have the need to visit the area again, but if i did, i will be here. The inside of the place is apealling too, other than the smelly carpet.

Tuscan chicken was the worst ever, like biting into a piece of fat. Processed chicken.

Three of us enjoyed a very nice lunch today, and took home our free pie for Wednesday. My catfish dinner was very moist and tasty, my friends steak wasn’t hot enough, but it was tender and tasty. My husbands salad was just what he wanted. The menu offers a lot of options and I would go back and try more items. My friend eats here often and suggested it as our lunch destination. The only suggestion I would offer for management is to upgrade the ladies rest room. I prefer one that is much cleaner, and maintained more often. Certain hours also offers half price appetizers and some discounted drinks on certain days. Overall a nice place to dine casually.

It is a rare event to encounter a place deserving of a one star review. O’Charley’s, without question, serves some of the worst food imaginable. As a matter of convenience, my family and I happened upon this location after a long day of travel. Altogether we ordered two of their specialty drinks from the bar, two kids meals, two adult entrees, and deserts. Both of the speciality drinks were horribly sweet. In fact, sweet is the only descriptor of these drinks. Although, to their credit they did garnish one of the drinks with mint. The kids macaroni and cheese consisted of soggy pasta with a watery and tasteless cheese sauce. My daughter, a conesuer of well prepared mac & cheese, quickly declares O’Charley’s version as the«worst ever.» Next, I tried there Cowboy sirlion with a side of cheese grits. I’m posting a picture of the resulting plate of food stuff. However, the most appropriate descriptor is 50% grits and 50% grease/butter/lard(not sure of the specific fat source). I recommend staying away. Based on this experience, it is difficult to understand how this place has emerged to be a chain.

This is a regional chain on par with TGI Friday’s, but with(slightly) fresher food. The staff is pleasant and quick, but seem to be hard of hearing. Or perhaps if they bring the side of ranch without having to remind them several times, it might open a hole in the fabric of space-time and destroy the universe. there are several items on the menu that are very good. The prime rib pasta is great. the(slightly) spicy cream sauce is wonderful. If they could only learn to properly cook the asparagus, it would be nearly perfect(for a chain). My chief complaint are the rolls. Some sort of sweet surface cloys to outer layer. The insides are so insubstantial as to make it a wonder of modern science. It is probably the only restaurant I’ve ever been to where they served rolls, and I no longer even attempt to eat them.(blech!) It’s location right off the highway makes it great for decent bite while on the road. However, if you can hold out, there are better places just 40min down the road in Louisville.
