Language in Motion is an interpreting agency serving southern Indiana and the Louisville metro area. We provide qualified and professional American Sign Language interpreters to businesses and organizations working with Deaf individuals.

History

Established in 2014.

Language in Motion was established in 2014 at the request of Deaf community members. The Kentuckiana area was lacking an agency that put Deaf individual’s preferences first. We are proud of our commitment to provide qualified interpreters to Louisville and surrounding areas. We strive to not only find an interpreter for the job, but the right interpreter for the job. Having worked and lived in this community for over a decade, LIM staff has a knowledge of the Deaf community members, the local area, and the interpreting field in general that will help match the right interpreter with Deaf individuals. We are open to feedback and suggestions and welcome ways to improve our services.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Molly has been interpreting since 2003. She graduated from the EKU Interpreter Training Program at University of Louisville in 2004. That same year, she acquired her Certificate of Interpretation (CI) and Certificate of Transliteration (CT) from RID. She has enjoyed a freelance career since 2007. She was inspired and encouraged to open LIM in 2014 and it excited to see what the future holds.
