Have always loved this place but just noticed that they significantly changed their portion size. Had the corned beef hash and the size of the plate shrunk. A pretty clever way of cost cutting. Sad. They still have awesome bloody Mary’s but need to rethink sneaky smaller plate sizes. This tactic only works so long.

This place has a cigarette smoke problem, they know it, and they could care less. Either they have a secret smoking room or the intake vents for the building are on the patio where people smoke or there is some other serious flaw. If you are sensitive to smoke, value your health, then don’t go here. If you are a smoker, you probably won’t notice. The person I was with states she felt«assaulted» by the cigarette smoke in the air. I left with congested lungs and stinging eyes. They were told, but ignored the concerns.

Well, they barely even deserve 1 star, but because this was the only option, fine. You have to search high and low for a more terrible option for a breakfast spot. We stood in line at the restaurant for 15 minutes before we realize that he needed to sign ourselves in to wait. After another 20 min, the push of other customers coming in moved a growing throng further into the dining area. The only interaction with staff was a bitchy scold to move out of the way. Never greeted, never saw anyone seated. Won’t be back.

It’s a good thing I didn’t expect much, that kept me from being disappointed. My dad and I were traveling through after spending a week fishing on the coast and decided that we needed some breakfast. The only thing done right was the eggs. That, I have to admit, is rather rare as it seems that most people can’t cook over medium eggs without burning the edges or leaving the egg white raw against the yolk. So, thumbs up for that. However, nothing else was good. The biscuit on the biscuits and gravy was like a hockey puck, the gravy was bland and the hash browns, that I requested extra crispy, were barely cooked at all. Very disappointing.

Bleh! The food was not good(biscuits and gravy seemed like leftovers from the previous weekend) and the service was super slow. They were definitely understaffed, but our poor waitress was trying her best and kept on a smile so I give them two stars. Bloody Mary was tolerable but not good by any means. This place is more for the college, hangover crowd offering mediocre food in my opinion(which may also explain why I frequented here during my college years but have barely returned since).

My lovely wife chose this place tonight because I was hangry and it couldn’t have worked out better! I had the Monday night special«Veal Madrid» which was a veal cutlet smothered with a Spanish sauce that was tasty with a bit of spice. My wife had a Philly cheesesteak that was very tasty as well. We also had the potato skin appetizer. Very good service and outstanding food.

Horrible food! Bbq baby back ribs are baked with a gross bbq sauce all over it! Steak was also over cooked. Mind you it was a 6 oz steak. Will never go there again and it was crazy expensive

Went to breakfast today with a group of nine, we got seated fairly quickly considering the busy Sunday peak hour. We ordered some drinks at the bar while we waited for a table. My mimosa was strong which was great and I heard the bloody Mary’s were good as well. The rating is low due to the atmosphere and quality of food. My veggie omelet arrived with a square of fake cheese on top of it, gross. Then my veggies were microwaved frozen variety pack. Perhaps weren’t but sure didn’t drive me to believe otherwise. I prefer fresh local ingredients, quality real food so this wasn’t quite up to my standard. The service was good considering again how busy they were. When exiting the establishment we were hit with a blast of daylight, apparently we were sitting in a zero natural light area. Not the way I like to spend my mornings. So hit up this place if that’s what you’re looking for. If my friends wish to return I’ll stick with the cocktails.

Do not go to this restaurant. The service was horrible! There was a server a chubby girl with red hair I think her name was Tammie, she completely ignored us every time she walked by our table. I was completely offended all I wanted was water! I was driving through this town with my boyfriend as a quick stop for a bite to eat. Let’s just say that I wish we never stopped. To top it all off the restaurant charged me more than what I paid. I’m pretty sure they wrote in extra money on the receipt for a tip. I really should just report them. DONOTGOHERE!!!

I frequent this establishment, It usually serves a solid, consistent & pretty good breakfast. Well not today. My breakfast order was over cooked, the server took it back, was apologetic and handled the situation professionally. The second dish was incorrect again… ugggg! Hopefully some one was having a bad day.

Good breakfast diner food. The bacon was the best part of the meal. Biscuits and gravy were also very good. Eggs were okay. Pancakes were so so. Hash browns were yummy. It’s a typical diner. We like the plants climbing on the wall and the service was good.

It’s a pretty basic and a typical breakfast spot. Prices are what you would expect. Staff are reasonably friendly. It’s good in a pinch but I wouldn’t go out of your way to eat here.

My friend wanted to stop by to take on their 7-pound«Beaver Buster» breakfast challenge. It’s a monstrosity served on a pizza pan. There are two«Works» omelets(each containing six eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, green peppers, red peppers, onions, mushrooms, cheese, and country gravy); 5 buttermilk pancakes; 2 biscuits w/gravy; 2 pieces of bacon; 2 pieces of link sausage; a side of ham steak; and 4 slices(8 half-slices) of buttered toast. The challenge is $ 25, which is a nice deal if you’re planning for leftovers or splitting it with family/friends. Me? I’d need a couple days to finish that one. Instead, I had one of their regular 4-egg Denver omelets($ 9.99). A tasty omelet, but maybe a tad much on the oil. The accompanying hash browns were a perfect crisp golden brown on the outside. Good buttered toast, too. I must also put a good word in for the cajun fries. Nice and crispy, with the right amount of cajun seasoning. A bit of a drive for me, but I’d like to return in the future.

Breakfast was awesome. had the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs, while the blonde had a Spanish Omelette with pepper bacon. the Chicken Fried streak made my top 5 list for Chicken Fried Steak… it was awesome. the breeding was light and the steak wasn’t greasy..

Over a two night stay in Corvallis, we went to Tommy’s four times, once just for drinks, twice for breakfast, and once for dinner and drinks. The reason we kept coming back was the friendliness and high caliber service of one particular employee, Jacqueline. We were made to feel like regulars, like a part of the family. Food and drinks were reasonably priced, and in general, tasty. Overall we had a nice time and would return again.

If you want traditional dinner food go here! I am not usually a dinner fan because of Sharis and Denny’s food sucks but Tommy’s is really good. I have been three times and have loved the food each time. The cinnamon roll has got to be the best! They give HUGE amounts of food but its good! Very cheap for everything you get!

I visited Tommy’s recently. I hadn’t been there since it was called Nona Rosalina’s. Anyone else remember that? I was with a large group that wanted to eat there. I ordered something simple that I thought would be hard to mess up. But… The grilled cheese didn’t have enough cheese to cover the bread, and it wasn’t melted. The soup tasted like it came out of a can. We had two servers. The first was very surly, but was going off shift. The second was professional and attentive. Oh well.

Before going to Reser Stadium in Corvallis for the OSU vs ASU game we stopped in at Tommy’s for some food and drinks. As expected on a game day they were pretty busy but we found a table on the bar side in front of the big screen which had the Ducks game on. The service was good, and drinks were fairly stiff. Also the menu was full… they even serve breakfast all day(sweet). The only downer was that they didn’t all that many options for vegetarians and virtually nothing for vegans(I wasn’t shocked by this at all but it is nice when there is at least a few choices). I have to mention that my friends and I felt like we were in the twilight zone a little because of the fact that while the ducks game was all people were actually routing for the ducks. Really? This is not right. When your in Corvallis at a OSU beavers bar you expect that people would not be routing for your rival. I guess weirder things have happened but this was up there on the crazy scale.

Great place for breakfast on Sunday morning after a Beaver football game. The wait was 30 minutes because they were so packed, but the staff remained calm, courteous, and helpful the entire time. You know how servers can get snippy when they’re overwhelmed? Not at this place. Kudos to them! The food was good too for our table of 9.

I’ve been to Tommy’s numerous times for drinks but hadn’t ordered anything to eat until last week. I’ll start with the bar area. It’s nothing special, but it is spacious, has a pooltable(possibly two), and the staff are friendly. The drinks are pretty strong, which is definitely a good thing. As for the food, I wasn’t expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had a double cheeseburger with cajun fries. The burger was nothing to write home about, but it was still pretty good. The cajun fries, however, were delicious. Puts McMennamin’s cajun tots to shame easily. I look forward to going back and trying more things.
