History

Established in 1985.

For more than 25 years, Shonnard’s Nursery, Florist and Landscape has provided plants, gardening supplies and helpful advice to Corvallis gardeners.

Since owners Chris and Lynnette Shonnard bought the business in the mid-​80s, they’ve increased and improved — building a new garden center and adding floral and landscaping services. Kids Andrea and Joel are a big part of the business as well. Andrea completed a degree in Merchandise Management from Oregon State University in 2005 and now works as the merchandiser and buyer for Shonnard’s. Joel earned his degree in horticulture from OSU in 2006 and works in Shonnard’s landscape division.

Business Owner

OSU graduate with over 36 years horticultural experience. Has had a love of plants since his grandmother gave him a pansy at the age of 5. Met Lynnette in a greenhouse and started growing both family and business from the ground up.
