Sedlak’s Boots & Shoes

This shop is the reason Amazon is winning. I have given this shop three chances below are each of the outcomes:
1^st time: Went in to browse (as most shoppers will in a small downtown setting) whoever the gentlemen working that day asks if he can help, I said thanks but just browsing, his response: oh great another one!
2^nd time: I brought my fire boots (Redwing 809) in for a cleaning and to get some of the stitching fixed. Same guy as before says
«These boots are too dirty I cant help you.»
«Ok fair enough can I buy a cleaning kit?»
«We dont sell cleaning kits.»
«So the one on the self isnt for sale?»
«No»
Great, bye.
3^rd time:
«Hi can I buy some boot laces and boot oil?»
«Are you a boot buyer?»
What?
«have you bought boots from us before?»
«No. Why does that matter?»
«well if you bought boots from us we will give you boot laces and oil if you need it.»
«So can I just buy some laces and oil?»
«No. I don’t have a price on boot laces or oil so I can’t sell them.»
«What!!!»
So this shop doesn’t clean now sell cleaning supplies for your footwear. Nor does it have the capacity to purchase a set of stickers to place on miscellaneous items to label a proper price for sale. WTF are these jokers doing? This is a beautiful representation of wealthy intolerant Corvallis. They will gladly sell a $ 400 filson wool vest but if you want laces take your poor @$$ to safe way you transient. I have never ever been in a store that didn’t sell the advertised prices. They do not support veterans or firefighters. such a joke of an establishment, impossible to figure out how to price boot laces whatever will I do!!!
Go to the other shoe stores on the same street they are much nicer.

A good selection of Filson garments, and they can order any product from them if they don’t have what you’re looking for. Filson stuff is timeless and very well made, in the USA (Seattle, mostly). Hence, it’s expensive, but worth it.
The amazing part is, the prices at this shop for Filson products are better than buying from them online.
They offer a good selection of top quality shoes for men and women. A good go-​to place for a gift for the lady in your life.
I’ve had shoes and leather items repaired here as well, and have been satisfied.

The worst return policy EVER… the owner wouldn’t take responsibility for an employee mistake and it cost me time and money to take care of this problem. I will never shop at that store again and I would advise people to be aware of his return policy and absolute disregard for good customer service.

After trying to get a pair of shoes re-​heeled and being told it would take 5 days I called up Old Towne is Albany and they said they could finish them in a day. And for $ 10 less than Sedlak’s. I’m sorry Sedlak’s, I’m out. Plus the boots you fixed for me broke off after two days. Not cool.
