Description

Specialties

We are a local, independently owned business that supports direct source and fair trade products from around the globe. Find unique handmade jewelry, clothing, housewares, garden décor, books, cards, scarves and more. We buy directly from artisans in Indonesia and when possible through companies offering fair trade goods in order to promote a healthier planet through healthy work conditions, fair wages, and eco-logical and sustainable goods.

Many Hands Trading contributes financial support to organizations that support children, education and families locally and abroad. Our monthly Day of Sharing allows us to contribute to local organizations such as The Boys and Girls Club, Benton County Food Share, Corvallis Multicultural Literacy Center, and more. We also contribute abroad to Solar Cookers International, The Fistula Foundation, Tadra Tibet Project, as well as others.

History

Established in 2005.

Many Hands Trading started as a seasonal store in 2005, supporting the startup of Corvallis Multicultural Literacy Center with a goal of bringing local awareness to the need for fair trade goods and promoting cultural diversity and education through products we offer. We have since grown to be in a permanent location starting in 2007 in beautiful Downtown Corvallis, Oregon. We continue to contribute financial support to local and global organizations.
