Hair Cuts & Color

I don’t know why there are are all these one star ratings. The cuts are good for the price. I got a cute style and I would go back here again.

If I could give this salon a million stars I would! Caty is amazing. I am the manager of a group home of low functioning adults who can be difficult at times. Caty’s patience is thru the roof. She is very welcoming, accepting and accommodating to my guys. She is very sweet and does a great job with all of them. She has done a few last minute «emergency» cuts and we always leave looking fresh. There aren’t enough words in the world to express how much we love her and her salon.
I’ve even gotten to meet her son a couple of times. He is so sweet and watching them interact is beautiful.

For a year and a half I have been getting my hair cut at HC&C. The stylists were different almost weekly. Since Katy cut my hair I have been going every 3– 4 weeks. She does a great job and I am always satisfied with her cuts. The review she received that insinuated she was a bad stylist and mom was upsetting and unfounded. I have witnessed Katy’s parenting while getting a cut. She is calm and attentive to her children. I have raised five children and in my opinion Katy does a great job working full time and raising her children. Hats off to her for her effort. She always talks about how much she cares and worries about the business. She is always smiling and talkative. Unlike all the other stylists that have cut my hair. I make a special effort to go there when she is working. I have owned four small businesses and believe Katy to be a great hire. The women who wrote this ugly review can have her opinion but her negativity speaks volumes about dignity and integrity. Go Katy!!!

Hit or miss. There are only a few stylists that are good. The rest are rude and sloppy. I require a very simple haircut (a fade), and they continuously manage to mess it up. Done going here.

Don’t even deserve one star. Went there Saturday morning, barber, white female, VERY RUDE with NO customer service skills, NO greetings from her when I walked in the door.
I asked her to cut shorter in the back, she replied, «I did»
I asked her to cut shorter on the side, she replied, «I did»
I asked her to cut shorter on the bottom, she replied, «I did».
3 times of her saying «I did» without doing what a customer has requested her to do.
How can this place stay in business?
Don’t go unless you’re looking for BAD attitude and BAD service.
Save yourself your precious time and hard earned money and go to Supercut, they are the same price!
I would never go back even if it’s FREE.

In response to Ally, clearly you have an employment history with this shop, and it didn’t work out, so you’re taking it to Unilocal to complain. Alright, we get it. Breakups are hard sometimes. And heck, maybe you’re right, maybe the owner CAN’T cut women’s hair even.
With that being said, I really do enjoy coming here. I’d say I come in here about 6 times a year, but every single experience I’ve had with this place over the last couple of years has been a great one. I’ve relied on a solid haircut repeatedly, and Cuts & Color has always delivered. Don’t let the underwhelming outside appearance of the store drive you away, the inside looks so much better.

owner is very rude to her employee yelling at her in front of customers. arguing with customers over what they want done. do not work for this company. very few people can work with this owner. she is mouthy, unprofessional and scattered, usually late for appointments, and cannot cut womens hair even. beware
