Gus and Jim opened this business way back in 1936 We have been keeping Corvallis rolling on great tires and doing auto repair ever since.

My name is Ron I have been with G & J Since 2005. I am an ASE Certified Master Technician. And an advanced level specialist in Drive ability. I am also a certified Service consultant. I have been working on vehicles professionally since 1987 when I joined the United States Air Force as a general purpose vehicle mechanic. There I received specialized training on vehicle computers from both Ford and General Motors. We here at G & J take pride in our work and it is all backed with a 2 year 24,000 mile warranty. We are Certified to work on your hybrid or your Diesel whatever you drive come see us to experience the level of expertise we have here at G & J.

Very happy with my 4Runner. I originally came in to get a quote for a leveling kit for a 4th gen 4Runner and was offered different options. I made an appointment and dropped off my truck in the morning and got it back at the end of the day. I was very pleased at the overall end result look. I did a lot of research on whether I should’ve done a 2″ vs 2.5″ I ended up with a 2.5″ kit which looks great! They have great customer service and friendly staff. 6 months later my car is back in Hawaii and I couldn’t be happier.

I have bought tires from these guys, had tire rotations and an alignment over the course of a couple years. They’ve taken care of me, and completed work on my car at reasonable prices, with high quality service. They have taken the time to talk to me about tire wear and worked with me on tire warranties. Would recommend.

Awesome place and great service! I called around 2:45 and they saw me at 3:15, had the problem identified within 5 minutes and a quote. I needed a new belt and they had it fixed and back to me by 4:30. Definitely recommend this place to anyone

Had a leveling kit and a Warn heavy duty bumper guard put on my 2007 Ram 1500. Mike had impeccable customer service skills and I am very pleased with the result. These guys are friendly and honest. I just moved away from my last mechanic that I loved, and I was so worried about finding a new one, but these guys won me over. They didn’t try to pull the «you’re just a girl» thing with me and gave me honest answers. They even took me to work and picked me up when my car was done. I am very happy and will go back again.

I will preface this review with the note that the service at G&J is great. Everyone is nice and helpful.
HOWEVER. My husband and I purchased our tires here about a year ago, and when we started hearing some squeaking from our right brakes, we decided to bring it in to G&J to have them look at them. Long story short, we had the brakes replaced, only to hear the squeaking as soon as we got home.
We brought the truck back in and were told it was another issue. So we threw another $ 400 at the problem, all the while being told that this would fix it. Again, driving home, the ominous squeaking began again.
Three visits later, we are told that the problem is fixed, but still have the squeak happening. We have spent over 1k with this shop and they just can’t seem to solve our problem.
We wish we had just gone to the Ford dealership, in hindsight. Sure, it might have been more expensive, but at least we’d know they would fix our truck correctly.

I came here after I started getting that dreaded side-​to-​side jerking that happens right before a tire separates. So I quickly GPSed the nearest tire place and found G&J. They took a look at the tires and said that only two of them were real problems, and that they could swap out all of them but that only two really needed it if I wanted to spend less, so that was nice of them to point out (I eventually ended up getting all 4 out because they were old anyway). It ended up being a pretty good deal, less than I was expecting to pay.
I’ve come back to them for repairs, they gave me a good analysis of the problem (s) and repaired them in a timely manner. Again I paid less than I was expecting/​fearing. All of the employees I’ve spoken to have been very friendly and courteous. I’m very pleased with the service here.

Jeff at G & J did some car maintenance on a vehicle that was donated to a non-​profit that I’m involved with. He donated the repairs and threw in two new tires!
The work was done quickly and his crew is friendly.
I did check his rates and his auto repair prices are competitive.
It is always great to do business with someone who gives back to the community.
