Specialties

Dr. Iole Taddei is an holistic optometrist with a developmental and behavioral approach to visual function based on the knowledge that the brain is malleable and able to be trained to correct apparent inabilities. She has been in practice for over thirty years. In addition to performing ophthalmic examinations, which include a complete health evaluation of the eyes and an in-depth analysis of eye-brain function, Dr. Taddei also evaluates and treats brain injury and the after-effects of stroke. She specializes in treating conditions which are often not understood

to be visual deficiencies — adult and child binocular and focusing problems, for example — which can cause reading, learning, and behavioral difficulties, Her programs improve comprehension and deepen her patients’ capacity to perform complex, multi-sensory tasks,
