Established in 1991.

Madeline Schaider Real Estate was conceived in 1990 – 1991 in Marin County, CA. Madeline began her career as a real estate agent and quickly became a licensed real estate broker, working in the field with other independent brokers. She formed her own business with the assistance of her great team. Since then, she has been in the top 1−10% of production in the County. Besides the team of professionals in her office, over the years she has created a masterful group of affiliates that support her vision and level of service to her clients. This list includes title officers, mortgage brokers, real estate attorneys, estate planners, financial planners, engineers, painters, electricians, plumbers, carpet installers, and house, termite, roof, fireplace, and mold inspectors. Her clients benefit from her research and experience with these individuals. Over the years, her level of service and excitement has generated referrals from her many satisfied customers to create the business of today.

Madeline Schaider settled here from Texas in 1986 and soon after opened Madeline Schaider Real Estate to bring a fresh and expansive approach to real estate transactions. She came from a career as a registered nurse (intensive care and psychiatric), where she practiced self-​reliance, patience, care to every detail, and a true understanding of people. Beat Bossart was our agent for our first home purchase and he was definitely the right person for the job. In hindsight, Beat estimated the cost of home improvement projects very accurately. With this ability, Beat saved us from buying 3 or 4 houses which needed major work that we wouldn’t have been able to afford.
We ended up buying a PUD (Planned Unit Development) in Fairfax that only needed paint, carpets, and a couple of odd jobs. Before the purchase was final, Beat brought in a very observant (if not slightly pessimistic) inspector who exposed everything and I mean everything negative about the PUD. We knew EXACTLY what we were buying. A few years later, we feel like we got a bargain on a home that we love.

They went above and beyond what I expected and made the process a very pleasant experience. It should be noted that in this challenging economy they were able to sell the property on the day it was listed and for more than the listed price. A five star job.

If I could give 6 stars I would have.
I’ve bought and sold houses for years and even a boat which required a mortgage but I’ve never worked with a more knowledgeable, professional and friendly Realtor than Beat (Bay-​ot) Bossart from this office. In real estate, the most important thing to me is knowing someone has my back and will tell it to me straight. My home search was made so easy by Beat that it saved me time and money in the long run.
Beat’s advice, suggestions and insight turned out to be spot on every time! He would call me during the closing process every day just to let me know what he would be doing that day on my behalf. He is always on time and prepared with just the right info and always made me and my wife feel like this process, although stressful sometimes, was going to be OK. And, he was right. He is the best Real Estate Agent I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and working with.

I interviewed Madeline when I was looking for a real estate agent to represent me in the search for my first home. Perhaps it was a bad day, but in the 45 minutes we were together, she spent most of the time answering her cell phone and talking to other people. She apologized every time it happened but left me wondering if she really had the time to represent me. Then, she took me to see one listing to get a feel for what I was looking for. It turned out to be a condo in the complex where she lives and she was representing the seller. Why would I want to get involved in that kind of conflict of interest? What’s she going to do, argue with herself over who gets the better deal when she’s representing both parties? Steer clear.
