Conveniently located on the island just off South Padre Island Drive, our spa staff will provide rejuvenation and relaxation services to women and men at our warm inviting beach house or at yours. Wherever you are in Corpus Christi, we are right around the corner waiting for your call. We’ve received many compliments commending our spa’s commitment to providing the quietest, cleanest and relaxing experience found in the industry.

We offer many soothing services including Prenatal Massage, Hot Stone, Advanced Massage, Swedish Massage, Duet Massage, Hot Towel Facial, Salt or Sugar Scrub and Seaweed Mud Wrap. We also have a medical grade Sauna that is great for fibromyalgia and detoxifying. This sauna uses dry heat rather than a steam sauna and has been advertised by Oprah and Dr. Oz.

Our dedicated specialists have a personal commitment to insuring your satisfaction. They have deeply caring hearts and hands that some would say work miracles.

History

Established in 2009.

After completing her studies as a licensed massage therapist, Barbie Guidry wanted to create a unique massage experience. Wishing to provide an upscale environment without a loud, busy and overwhelming commercial atmosphere made choosing her location for The Beach House Day Spa very easy in 2009. Barbie is a working owner of the establishment and has insisted on maintaining a beach community sized and personalized feel.

Our goal at The Beach House Day Spa is to remain a beach sized community and personalized massage day spa. This informal, warm, quiet respite invites a sense of freedom and a beach on a blanket time lapse. There is a noticeable common purpose that drives the dedicated staff here at The Beach House Day Spa; we all have the desire to help people, and we are excited about making positive changes in the lives of our clients.

Our goal is to provide a restful getaway and at the same time heal and rejuvenate our community. We believe in continuing education to advance our knowledge as well as provide a better spa experience. Our business is built on trust, expertise, professionalism, and a personal caring touch that always puts the health and well-​being of our clients first.

Barbie is awesome.
One of the best massages I’ve ever received.
She asks about any areas of interest, and if you have a hard back, or shin splints, she can remedy them up to make you feel fresh and rejuvenated! Her helper is also amazing. Always make appointments a week in advance or so. I get right in, she is always on time, their is also different treatment options available, skin wraps, heaters, etc… lady stuff.
If you can’t reach Barbie by phone, try her on her Facebook/​or Company website.
You can complain all you want about someone not answering, but once you get a massage here, it’s awwwwww heaven!
Check it out if you need a massage! Best spot on the Island.

I was going to Corpus Christi to visit my cousin the week before her wedding, and at last minute decided that while I was there, we should get a massage. Even though I waited until two business days before going to make the appointment, I had absolutely no problem getting us in at The Beach House Day Spa. We both got the Mom’s Tropical Escape, and loved it! Not only was the service great, but we were able to have everything done in the same room together. We started in the front room with the Feet Retreat, and then moved to another room for the massage and facial. I’m kind of picky when it comes to massages, but this one was great. In the past, I’ve had massages leave me feeling more sore and tense than before, but not this one. I can’t remember the girl’s name who did mine (my cousin had Barbie), but she really listened to the type of massage I wanted and I left feeling very relaxed and happy. My cousin and I both agreed that the entire experience was wonderful. I would go back in a heartbeat if I lived there. Also, I did notice afterwards that a few businesses around town had some really great coupons (like a B1G1 free offer and a free bottle of wine with package purchase), so if you live in Corpus Christi, you might want to look in some of the nearby stores to see if you can find one. Regardless, it was very reasonably priced.

Spent a relaxing weekend at the coast house, enjoying the sun and the water w/​the bf. We both needed massages after several weeks of stressful working and started looking online for day spas and massage therapists. After coming across a «therapist» who seemed to be offering «other» services along with her massages (based on the rear-​view pictures posted on her website!), I stumbled upon the listing here on Unilocal for The Beach House Day Spa which included the link to the website. A quick view of the pricing and Massage and Body Treatment Services offered, I immediately noticed that it was slightly more affordable/​reasonable than the other spas I had looked at — most notably that it was $ 60 for an hour, $ 80 for an hour and half regardless of the type (regular, hot stone, hot shell, deep tissue — except for the duet massage). What sold us immediately was that they made house calls! We immediately booked two 1.5 hour massages but since there was only one therapist that day she told me the massages would have to be back to back — no biggie.
When Barbie arrived, she asked where we wanted our massages and immediately began to set up. I opted to have mine outside on the deck, overlooking the water. Even in the heat and humidity (which was oddly relaxing), Barbie didn’t make any comments or complaints. Her pressure was more or less consistent throughout the massage — I got a deep tissue. She was very professional and at the same time, friendly.
My bf decided to have his massage inside the house in the air conditioning so Barbie had to fold up the table, bring it inside, set it up again, and bring all her stuff it and set that all up again too. His only «complaint» is that she didn’t spend as much time as he would have liked on some of the problem areas he had mentioned, but otherwise we both think she did a fabulous job!
She was also very accommodating about a small misunderstanding and we gave her a big tip for the inconvenience. Two thumbs up for Barbie from the Beach House Day Spa! We left her business cards on our table for the next visitors to use if they decide they want a massage for themselves!
