I really loved my stylist Chloe! She was super cute. She took her time and my hair turned out just as I requested. She gave me honest input on some of my ideas. She keeps up on all the new techniques and training. Definitely recommending her!

I had a great experience at Atelier Salon. I called on Tuesday and was able to get a morning appointment on Wednesday. The shop is very clean and industrial-​stylish. Since this was my first visit, I filled out a brief questionnaire and then met Leigh Ann, my stylist. She did an excellent job and I got a great hair cut, just what I wanted. I thought the price was very reasonable and there was no pressure to upsell or products. I took advantage of a coupon offer on Unilocal and even got a discount! Great job! Thank you!

This is the first time I post a review for any business because it is well deserved. For the first time, I got exactly what I wanted! LeighAnn Marroquin did an excellent job on my hair and is professional and courteous. I got foil highlights, a root breakthrough, and a haircut. I left Atelier feeling like a movie star, lol! Also deserving notice is Jackie who assisted LeighAnn, Jackie is sweet and attentive and helped me decide what I wanted by just taking a look at her beautiful hair! Good job girls!

I’ve gotten my hair cut twice now by Irma; no color. The first was last year (I know, I lag on hair cuts!) and I had it cut from my lower back up to my shoulders. Irma took her time, consulted, gave a great cut, great convo and even curled it special. I had it cut again this week and needed a trim for my again long hair and really needed to get some of the weight out. I showed her a picture of what I was thinking, which was long, chunky layers in the front. She did the same consult, cut, and convo. To be honest, my layers didn’t look like what I wanted but all in all, it was still a great cut by a talented stylist for $ 70, which is a great price compared to the CA prices I’m used to. The salon was pretty busy and the whole thing felt a bit rushed… I was in and out in 30−40mins, which with my thick, long hair is pretty fast. The salon is definitely the best in Corpus and I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else in the area but I’m definitely going to make sure I explain what I want in better detail next time.

I wanted this salon to work so badly! I relocated from Houston to live in Corpus Christi and loyally returned to my Houston salon every month for a recolor but needless to say I was desperately hoping to find a salon here for convenience. To be fair, I am a blonde, who through the magic of hair color am a redhead, and through the magic of extensions, have long, thick, red hair. Blonde to red with extensions, I admit, would definitely be a challenge for any colorist and my stylist in Houston has been doing my hair for years. Long story short, the first time I went in to this salon for a consultation should have been the last. I paid $ 350 to order new extensions. They didn’t have my color, in fact, she said she did not carry any red, but she could color a blonde to match. My Houston stylist orders red extensions and then also colors them to brighten them to the color I like, so, I thought, okay, this could work also. Appointment time rolls around and I am presented with brown extensions. Brown. She is standing there telling me they are red, but they are, at the most, a slightly coppery brown. My hair is a light red-​blonde. I said, no, absolutely, that isn’t going to work at all, nor did I want her to color my hair coppery brown to match. She said that was the best she could offer, but she said I could get online and order my own red extensions from a company that does offer my color and then she would put them in and tint my hair to match. I SHOULD have said, no, I’m going to Houston right now, but, I wanted this salon to work so badly that I acquiesced and set another appointment, and ordered $ 350 of additional extensions. For that appointment, she replaced the extensions I already had in… and charged me $ 525. New extensions come in, and I am wondering how this could possibly go wrong. I should have stopped wondering and going to Houston. She toned my new extensions to a reddish-​copper, which was fine, although it was darker and duller than I like. Then she colored my natural hair. My roots are reddish-​copper. The last two thirds of my natural hair is brown. Brown like the first set of extensions I paid for. My hair was about three shades… from deep red, to reddish-​copper, to brown, to bright reddish-​copper. I wasn’t happy, I said I wasn’t happy, I paid my $ 450 bill and left. I washed my hair for the first time with my usual shampoo and seven, SEVEN, of my extensions ended up matted in the drain as I rinsed the shampoo out. My Houston stylist didn’t always get it exactly right the first time either, working with extensions that take color differently, plus my roots, plus porous blonde ends– but when I left the salon, it looked right, and I most definitely never paid that much money for hair that didn’t. I most definitely have never paid for extensions that a stylist color matched, ordered and then ruined. The salon itself is set up nicely, and perhaps there are other stylists who are more experienced working with extensions (which they do advertise as a service) and color. If you read my reviews on here you know I mostly write very positive ones. But this was horribly disappointing. And a horrible waste of money.

Chloe, again, is AMAZING. The first time I had my hair balayage and I asked for natural, but noticeable and it was exactly what I asked for, with a great cut. The second time I went to get my hair colored, I was ready for something more dramatic and it turned out great! I love my hair.

Now, depending on what service you receive it can be pricey, but honestly, it is moderate in my opinion.

Been coming here for many years now. Everyone is very nice and seem to be well-​trained. My hair is very straight and I don’t get coloring or highlights done so I just go with a junior stylist. The junior stylists are great. Even though I don’t get the other services done, I’ve watched the work they do on other clients and it seems to be very professional.

Service is great. I just love my color/​highlights. Everything is exactly what I wanted. The only thing: God, it is expensive. I had to pay 225 for cut and tye and dye (highlights at the end of my hair). I had three small products also. And you don’t know until the end how much you’re going to pay.
But I have to say o don’t regret because I just really love my hair right now.

Chloe was AMAZING. She did a balayage highlight and it blends well with my natural hair color. The entire staff was amazing. I am going back!

Ok, so I woke up yesterday morning and realized that my hair was orange (thank you braun rene’s) and no amount of purple shampoo and conditioning masks were going to bring my burnt brassy hair back to life. So, I started reading reviews on Unilocal and came across Atelier Salon, there were so many get reviews and they offered a great Unilocal deal, which was what I really needed ($ 50 for $ 75). I called and they got me in very quickly, minimal wait time and got to work on my hair. Chloe took her time and literally cared for each stand of my hair, we decided to cut off several inches due to the damage inflicted, and I have to admit that I was very nervous. But the end result was phenomenal! I got an amazing cut and hair color repair thanks to Chloe and the entire staff at Atelier Salon — now I can return to work after spring break looking refreshed and not like I spent the week sleeping in the dunes!

Irma is amazing!!! She was able to fix my ugly messed up bleach hair! Everyone is so nice.

I’m visiting from out of town but I desperately needed a haircut. It’s a long story, but I found Atelier on Unilocal and they fit me in on a Thursday morning about an hour after I called. They seemed busy when I got there, which was comforting. Salon is nice, clean, and full of natural light. I was helped almost immediately upon checking in, offered a beverage, and shown to my chair. I saw Chloe– she checked my hair out dry and then washed, cut, and blow dried. I think my cut is pretty straightforward; long layers, no bangs, face framing. I’ve definitely had people mess it up before though! Chloe did well– nice layers and she didn’t take off too much length. Now my split ends are gone, my hair looks a lot healthier, and I’m only out $ 45. That’s a win in my book. I also appreciate that the staff wasn’t pushy with the products. If I spent more time in Corpus Christi, I’d definitely go back.

Well, first thing i recently moved to corpus christi and i had been dreading to find a salon because i have had a lot of botched colors and cuts… i researched high and low for the best salon and upon reading peoples reviews on atelier i booked a consultation with Irma. during my consultation Irma listened to exactly what my hair goals were but also provided her professional opinion. I felt very comfortable with her so i made an appointment for the following week for a cut and color. My cut and color came out PERFECT!!! we ended up going for highlights lowlights and a layered long hair cut. She explained everything she was doing every step of the way. i never felt left in the dark. She also sold me on 5 products and not in a sales person way. She knew what my hair was lacking (keratin) and recommended a new shampoo, conditoner and detangler. Her customer service is amazing and i HIGHLY recommend seeing her! She has a new client and i will continue to book with her. the salon staff were very welcoming as well. This salon is CLEAN which is a big deal to me. Irma’s assistant Kayla was also a sweetheart! I’m new to CC and was scared to find a new salon since I (like most women) have had nightmare experiences with new salons and stylists. They got me in for an appt on the next Sat. The salon is beautiful and the receptionists are friendly. Only issue was that they forgot to put in the system that I was getting colored as well as cut. It caused some confusion but they finally figured out who was available to help me. Yasany was great! I am definately going back to her. I would recommend this salon to my friends. Plus they give 5% off if you pre-​book for your next appt. Nice little perk/​incentive.

I made an appointment with Chloe. I had to wait over 40 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it she cut off 16″ and gave me the cutest chopped, messy bob. She is skilled, well trained and a total sweetheart. I cannot recommend her more highly. The Entire Salon Staff Was Amazing!!!

My first time here and the salon looks very nice and clean. I had been looking for a place to do my eyebrows and I think I maybe have found my spot. The wax room bed is soft and the atmosphere is relaxing.

First timer, found this wonderful salon thanks to Unilocal.I was especially impressed by the level of customer service evidenced by the manager follow up action and comments. Very professional! So I requested an appointment with Irma. She consulted with me to discuss my hair style goal. She offered constructive suggestions based on my hair type and face shape. Recently got my hair color corrected due to a horrible salon failure at Salon Palomo. The owner of Atelier messaged me and was absolutely delightful. He set me up an appointment with Leigh Ann who was a doll. My hair looks 100x better and I could not be happier! Ambrose, the owner, makes sure that everything is taken care of and genuinely cares about his clients. The salon is neat and up to date and all of the employees are friendly and ready to help in any way they can. Great salon! Highly recommend.

Wow. Great customer service! After seeing my Unilocal review, the owner called me and listened to all my concerns. He then offered a chance for me to come in and get my hair re-​done by one of the senior stylists.
This time Irma worked with me. What a great experience. She explained the DevaCurl cutting technique, we talked about my current cut, and what my expectations were in a haircut. Turns out my expectations for a big curly haircut were waaaaaaay off — simply not possible with my natural hair type and texture. Luckily, as Irma freshened up my haircut (turned out I wanted a regular haircut, not a DevaCurl cut), she explained different techniques and products that I can use to get my desired results.
I’m very pleased with the results. The customer service at this salon is top notch. Although it’s on the pricey side, it is definitely worth every penny. Can’t wait to go back again!

Ill start by saying i don’t trust a lot of hair places in this area. I was very skeptical while making my Appointment. I’ve had my hair highlighted and a split end treatment done here. Both left me feeling like I couldn’t believe this place was in Corpus Christi! I’m not from here and only just moved a year ago to live. I found this place incredibly knowledgable and good at what they do.
My highlights complimented my eyes and color tone. It was all talked to me by my stylist before doing the color. She was very educated and understood hair dye and texture very well. I came out looking better than i ever have. My split end treatment was just as fantastic and the service was again, amazing.
I’ve got my mom coming from Austin just to get her hair done here now. I’ve booked myself two days here for the week of my wedding. I can’t go wrong.
