I can’t say enough about the family that run the Postal Annex. They are professional and kind. Thuy came to my house in the pouring rain to pick up suitcases to be shipped to our new home in Fl. She and her husband do whatever they can to help in whatever way they can. They are friendly, and very accurate and professional.

Huong & Thuy Nguyen are the best. They are polite, professional, and welcoming. I have always received top-​notch service from them — even when my shipping order was difficult.
They get my highest recommendation. A+++

This was very frustrating. The employee could not manage multiple customers at one time. He would bounce back and forth between people and not help get anyone out of there. We were pretty must all standing there waiting to pay while he was looking at the computer like he was doing something but he wasn’t.
Right when I walked in the door, I asked him if he could scan a FedEx label from my email and send it. He said yes. But, turns out he couldn’t after asking him DIRECTLY. He couldn’t speak English very well. Maybe that was the reason. Regardless, it’s not an excuse for poor service.

Nope! Won’t go back! Parking is terrible, store is a mess, and the man at the counter is unfriendly. I felt like he was making up prices in his head. No measuring, no asking me if I wanted ground shipping. Bizarre and unprofessional. Note my over 100 reviews, I’m a pretty positive person and always give a place more than one chance before ever putting something negative on Unilocal.They used their chances. These must be stock photos of their store, as it looks nothing like this.

This is the best place in town to go, friendly staff, and the owner has been very nice over the years too. They will take care of all your needs, and are happy to have your business.

Really nice and caring people. Always got my mail on time, treated almost like family when I walked in, all that good stuff :-)

Terrible customer service, they don’t deserve to do business in Coronado.
If only I had read Unilocal reviews before I went there. I selected this place as my drop off when printing a prepaid packing slip with FedEx because it was convenient.
I wanted to ship a bike out on Friday morning. The website for the store said they opened at 9. I arranged to go to work late so I could drop off my package when they opened and make sure it got out that day.
No one showed up until 9:45 to open. I was waiting in one of the Postal Annex parking spaces, the one closer to the door. When she pulled up the first thing she says is that I can’t park there. Nevermind there are 3 other marked spaces. If she had been there on time to open then she would have gotten that spot. All I wanted was to get an acknowledgment of receipt of my package before left my $ 1500 bike in tis lady’s hands. She refused to print anything. She just said to put it in the corner next to a stack of other packages that I now suppose customers thought were going out yesterday. She gave me the whole «I don’t make any money on prepaid packages» deal and said she charges two dollars to take packages. TWO BUCKS FOR WHAT? I carried the package, she didn’t do anything. I tried to say, «if you don’t like taking packages then why are you a designated drop off location!!!» She walked away and started babbling in some non-​english. I was so furious I just threw two bucks on the counter and left.
I check my tracking number later that day to confirm pickup. It didn’t get picked up until Monday morning!!!
Jeez I’m fuming just reliving this by writing about it.

I have always used Unilocal as a great tool for business reviews and have never had any use for an account until I visited this establishment. I had already packaged my prepaid fed-​ex box with shipping label attached and ready for drop off. When I dropped it off, I asked if I could have a receipt as proof for my own records especially because it was an iPhone return worth $ 600, chargeable if it didn’t reach Apple, so I wanted a receipt. The man demanded $.50 because he said «I don’t profit anything for these prepaid drop-​offs» and I only had a cc on me and he said «$ 2 for credit transaction» what??? Needless to say I was furious for the fact that if they are an official fed-​ex drop off location then they must follow standard business practice and provide a transaction receipt regardless whether «he makes money from it» I will not return to this business as I recommend no one else does. Thanks, now I have a Unilocal account!

What a dump. These guys made me pay .50 to get a receipt that I dropped off a package. Never mind I go in there often and spend money on other things. They are not nice. Never going again.
Losers

I went in here the weekend before Christmas to send a couple presents priority mail. The owner purposely withheld from me that the mail would not be going out that day, obviously knowing I wanted to get my gifts out that day. Once I paid (a high price for a flat rate box because it was the only size he had), he informed me it would not go out until Monday. They ripped me off with an overpriced, way too large box, and then told me AFTER I paid that it wouldn’t go out. Horrible service!

Good old-​fashioned service… I was worried when the new owners took over, but it was a smooth transition. The store carries some gift items, offers a wide variety of postal services, takes passport pics, and has a limited amount of office supplies.
