Absolutely amazing photos. I can’t describe how great the session went. Melissa was so easy to work with. Her studio is very comfortable for babies and families. She captured images I didn’t even think were possible. Some with our daughter, Leila’s, eyes open, closed and even her smiling and yawning. First rate, reasonable and quick completion of the order.

Amazing Newborn Photos!
My husband and I recently got photos of our newborn son taken by Melissa at Just Hatched. She did an amazing job and our photos turned out perfect! Our baby boy definitely made her work hard as he would not sleep for anything! Melissa was able to still get photos while he closed his eyes for a few seconds that made it look like he was a sleeping angel. She was extremely patient and was great at soothing our stubborn newborn! Melissa works from her home which makes the whole experience very personal and comforting. She is very professional and we love all of our photos!

We cannot say enough great things about Melissa! From the moment that we walked through the door with our fussy 10 day old baby, stressed and exhausted, she made us feel welcome and normal! Her sense of humor is essential for rolling with the punches of newborn photography (or more accurately lack of diapers on her subjects!).
She went out of her way to ensure that we had a few images back early so that we could send out a card for our Christmas baby. After delivering my baby I went out on a quest to find just the right photographer to take some snaps of my little bundle of joy. Melissa from Just Hatched Photography was it! I had done extensive research months prior to my due date. Several photographers required payment months in advanced. Since one can’t be sure of their due date I did not feel comfortable.
When I contacted Melissa she was very helpful. She sent me a list of her prices and I was very pleased with them. Her studio is great! There is a changing table and a rocking chair to soothe your little one.
As a new mommy I was still adjusting to the role and trying to figure out how to soothe my baby. I was in awe of how quickly Melissa was able to comfort my baby. She is a pro! She has so much patience and her shots came out wonderful! I am very pleased with her work and have plans to use her services again for a 6 month & one year photo shoot!

While Melissa specializes in babies and maternity, she really can do it all. My kids are older and she has taken our family photos. She also did a session of intimate photography for me as a an anniversary gift for my husband. I wanted it to be artistic and not trashy. She captured exactly what I was looking for.
