Thank you John & Casey for the super service yesterday. My battery died and they were able to get me a new battery in under one hour first thing on a busy Monday morning.

I wish I had more thumbs to give them a thumbs up for their service today! Service was quick, they were reliable, and fairly inexpensive. Thank you John, Rock, and staff for the great work.
Also, love the malamute. He just made my day. What a sweet, loving, GENTLE giant to make my day (on top of the great service).

Talk about a place to cut corners and up charge you!
Not only that but they allowed a mechanic get in my vehicle covered in grease and get it all over my seat to the point I had to spend more money to get it cleaned!
Do not waste your money or time with such a disrespectful place that does not care about the quality of service, only the size of your pocket!
I am currently in the process of reporting this company to the BBB for allowing this!

On the 4^th of July El Cordova Garage towed my vehicle from a private parking area with no authority or question. They charged me $ 355 dollars and my vehicle was not even there 1 hour. There fees were Impound $ 205.00, dolly charge $ 50.00, Storage charge $ 50.00, Add on charge ??? $ 50. I was very upset as they completely did not care if my car was on private property as the worker said this is «OUR CHRISTMAS MONEY»!!! A bunch of crooks, this business is shady. NEWS Flash… believe it or not after doing some research i spoke to coronado police department the sgt. suggested i talk to the owner. Well I did the Owner Named Roc actually listened to what i had to say and refunded my money. for his honesty i will give 3 stars and 5 stars to the owner!!!

I am very disappointed by the service and fees I was required to pay by this company. My car was towed on the island less than a mile. Cordova had my vehicle in their possession for less than two hours.
The total fees incurred were $ 305. The most I should have been required to pay was $ 205.
They told me that they used dollies to remove my car from the spot it was parked in. There is absolutely no way this could be true considering the fact that there were two giant skid marks where my car was removed. Also, dollies would have cause my car to go swinging around in circles and hit other cars and maybe even a building or two.
The extra $ 100 fee was tacked onto my bill for no apparent reason. When asked for a better explanation, the clerk couldn’t even look me in the eye to explain his reasoning.
It’s stressful enough to have a car towed — the service from this company was unacceptable.

My fiancée was involved in a car accident, Wednesday morning at 5:20 am, and was towed by this company, chargered me $ 170 for the tow at the accident and inpound fee, and extra $ 105 to tow it to my house. When I called i made it clear to how ever I was talking to the phone that I was helping my fiancée, because she was very shaken and fatigued about the accident. I wanted to tow the vehicle to my house. He had made NO indication what so ever about the towing procedure or who had to be there upon delivery of the vehicle. Vehicle had arrived at my house and I get a call saying that the registered owner had to be there to receive the vehicle, witch does make a lot of since. My Fiancée was not there, and was told that we would be charged $ 100 for every 15 min the truck was stoped. I called El Cordova garage, i explained what was going on, and told the man that no one had told who had to be there to receive the vehicle. He was very rude and went off on me, started yelling and telling me «you dont tell me what to do!!». He then threatens me by saying he would tow the truck back and have to pay an additional tow and impound fee on top of what the bill already was. It was a very unprofessional, rude and unnecessary in an already bad situation. My fiancée had to borrow a car and drive to my house, we ened up having to pay an additional $ 100 for having the driver wait 15 min. It does make a lot of sense to have the register owner receive the vehicle, but either way should be explained to customer no matter what. I would have arranged my fiancée to be there. Not once during the 4 – 5 times i called about this vehicle was her name or who the registered owners name brought up. All i can say, threats and yelling at customers, very unprofessional.
Additional $ 100 for every 15 min is just outrageous. The money is not the issue here, the fact that he went off on me, threats, being rude and unprofessional to a customer is the issue. I have worked in the automotive industry for the past 5 years as mechanic, and have had customers go off on me. But never once did I do the same.

If I could give zero stars I would. The owners wife is unnecessarily rude, I called because my car was towed to this location. It was there for several months and I accepted the fact it might have been sold. I called to ask if she knew if she knew the location of the vehicle or if it was sold, she got upset with me thinking I was calling her a liar for not knowing where my vehicle was. I just wanted to know if it was sold or not after being told by her husband earlier he would be able to locate it anywhere. Her dog didn’t even like her, growled at her like a stranger. This woman was Unprofessional in every way possible. I will say the mechanics appeared to be the only friendly people working here.

my boyfriend and i have classic vehicles that we invest a lot of time and money into! (meaning we don’t just take them to random shops to get fixed)
when we dropped our vehicles off we told rock if you have any questions please call us — these are custom vehicles! never received any calls–
we have a mechanic we know and trust but was out of town for a month so we decided (after being highly recommended)
we would take our babies to this shop–
BIG BIG BIG MISTAKE
we pick up our vehicles & rock never mentioned anything —
after paying about $ 1200 + to el cordova we start to find a bunch of problems — the metal piece on my quarter glass is broken (someone broke it and placed in the glove box)
i noticed a big white spot on the driverside door which i thought was dust — washed my truck & noticed it did not come off. i took a closer look and see scratch marks in a circular motion and a big white spot?
(apparently they spilled transmission fluid on the door and decided to wipe it off with something rough like sandpaper? (smart) now i have sctratch marks & a large white spot on my black truck that will not come off — very angry!
we ended up paying our mechanic over $ 200 to fix all the f*** ups this shop made —
some things could not be fixed, so i call and complain. He tells me he knew about the white spot and wants me to take my truck back in & they’ll «try» and fix it? Then he makes a bunch of excuses about my boyfriends car and changes his story a few times… WOW!!! I will not be taking any of my vehicles to that shop ever again! Not even to have them fix what they broke!!!

STAY AWAY! That is probably the best advice you could ever get about this group of incompetent boobs. Calling them liars, and thieves would be a complement. These people do not pay there vendors. Better Business bureau has been called.

I paid these guys to check my coolant because my car was overheating. they charged me to check it and make sure all was in order, then I paid them $ 123 for that car only to break down less than 24 hours later FROM OVER HEATING!!! I took a photo with my camera the levels were so low and I did’t have a leak because i have been watching for that. Reporting them to the BBB — UPDATE People in Coronado warned me about this place and I should have listened the first time, lesson learned.
