Very happy with the service. Since we has a heat wave most places had me on a 3 day wait list. I got a next day appointment and they were able to come earlier than scheduled. Chris got our ac up and running again in almost no time at all.

Last week Walton’s came to my home for a yearly inspection; I was very impressed! They were professional, considerate and knowledgeable. Before entering my home the technician place fresh, clean booties over his shoes to protect my floors. He carried a small vacuum and cleaned up where he worked as though no one had been in my home.
The technician thoroughly evaluated every aspect of my unit (inside and outside) and completely cleaned the outside unit. He noticed my filter inside needed to be changed and changed it for me.
I highly recommend this company and will use them for any future needs.

I wasn’t sure where to start when looking to install a brand new air conditioner in our Costa Mesa home. I called about ten companies and scheduled appointments with three of them.
The first thing that stood out about Walton’s was their prompt appointment availability. While other companies couldn’t schedule me for a week or two, Walton’s was able to come out the next day. When he did come to our home, Todd was thorough and professional. He actually looked in the attic and at the electrical panel, and spent a good amount of time exploring our options with us. Other companies seemed to breeze through the house with only cursory looks at the property, and gave us «one size fits all» pricing without considering our needs.
Another thing to consider is the total guarantee offered by Walton’s…I was so pleased to see the pricing guarantee (making certain that there would be NO surprises or hidden costs) and the functionality guarantee (going so far as to promise the cost of a hotel room if the heating or air don’t work!). They didn’t collect a penny until the job was 100% finished to our satisfaction. There is something very comforting about a company that will stand behind its product and performance.
Finally, when we did make a decision to go with Walton’s, they were able to schedule a FULL install within 24 hours! The technicians arrived on time, worked hard, and put in a brand new air conditioner and heater in one day. They were considerate and knowledgeable, and lived up to the promises that Todd had made when explaining the process.
Overall, I was not looking forward to all the work that would be associated with finding a company and waiting for the price quote and install process. Walton’s made this very easy on us, and we’re looking forward to being cool this summer!

Very satisfied customer! My A/​C decided to go out on the first 100+ degree heat wave this past weekend, and I called Waltons to come out. Eric, the technician that came out, assessed the problem and gave me a quote for repairs. He was knowledgeable about the system in my home and was able to explain it to me in regular language since «AC repair talk» seems like another language to me, presented it in a thorough AND patient manner, and actually was trying to work with me to get me the best price. I had another company (RighTime) come out and WHOA was that a mistake! Needless to say, I went with Waltons for my repairs. ** side note: since I called in for service the same day, on a HOT and busy day, the office kept me in the loop with timing. They called to let me know I was next call in line and they even called after my appointment to make sure that I was satisfied with everything (now that’s what I call customer service!!) SOOOO If you want HONEST repairs, thorough work, and fair prices, you should definitely call Waltons! Keep cool out there…

Walton’s has recently changed owners. Be cautious if you do business. Request a firm quote up front, then compare with other HVAC businesses. The technicians seem to be OK but the new management are NOT friendly or flexible. I ordered a new «AprilAire» filtration from the «OLD» Walton’s. My yearly maintenance was due and I made the required appointment for the Techs to come out. I requested, while they were here, they replaced the filter on my new AprilAir filtration system. (This is the NEW Walton’s.) After replacing the filter, the Tech handed me a bill for $ 176.00 for the new filter. I have since refused to pay that much for the filter as they were already here, doing routine maintenance on my system.

The guys who come by are nice, but I get the feeling the workers are under pressure to sell — all of them. I’ve had them come by several times. They even put in an air conditioner after my old one went caput. Another one went dead, but I’m going to call someone else, because I’m tired of their sales tactics.
Before I signed up for their yearly service, they constantly asked if I would. When I had their yearly service, they kept calling to have me make the appointments to come over. When I cancelled an appointment, they constantly called to ask if they could reschedule. When they came, they always found something I need to fix that costs hundreds or even thousands of dollars. I cancelled their service and they keep asking if I want to sign up again. One year of this is enough.

Had an all new A/​C and heat system with new ducts installed a couple of months back. Everyone who came to my home were friendly and courteous. They worked really fast and got most of the work done in one day. Also when a part I paid for wasn’t there, they upgraded it without charging me more. My only suggestion for improvement would be in the communication department. I was often told, «Someone will call you with a time!» and no one called. Either I called to confirm times or someone showed up without me expecting them. It wasn’t a huge inconvenience, but it’s something to improve on. Overall I am happy with my experience and very very happy with my wonderful new system!

I called for my mother who lives in Whittier, CA (I out of state) and was hesitant in using a new AC company. This company was SUPER friendly on the phone and they took care of my Mother. The technician (I forgot his name) explained everything to me over the phone and my mother was pleased with how she was treated. My mom even signed up for the maintenance program. Would highly recommend this company!

We are regular customers of Waltons Heating and Air. The business has changed ownership and the new owners are really putting their own stamp on customer service and satisfaction. I have other properties and I’m transferring all my business to them. They are up to date and on time. Eddie did a thorough cleaning and I was amazed how good a job he did. I’m spoiled! Glad the company was bought and I look forward to having better service. Price was more than competitive and service was… how you say, priceless!!!

I am exceedingly happy with the work done. They came in and cleaned the air ducts, coils, registers, etc. The air flow in my home has improved exponentially. Highly recommend this business! Also, the employees were super friendly and courteous!

Buyer Beware!
Walton’s repairmen are salesmen! I received a totally ridiculous and wrong diagnosis!!! I was quoted 7k after being told I need a new AC unit. After I was told how wonderful the HERO program was, I received a quote/​monthly payment. I told the Waltons salesman I would get back to him. I decided to get a second opinion and I found out it was a simple 280 $ fix. I just needed a new capacitor. The waltons repairmen are uneducated and they aren’t being properly trained to correctly identify AC issues. I am so thankful I didn’t take their crazy advice!

Great job, Eddie, on patiently troubleshooting why my Air Conditioning system stopped cranking out cool air. You didn’t smile until aha! you found some loose wires and then firmly reattached them. You and the other Walton techs are experts at heating and A/​C — installing, upgrading, repairing, and servicing. Keep it up!

I had Waltons install my air conditioner at my salon and was so impressed that I had them install a new unit at my residence. Todd is amazing! He got everything dialed in on both jobs, made sure the gals in the office kept me updated. By the way they are very helpful on the phone. The installers were clean and professional! We love both of our new units! Thanks Todd and thanks to the whole staff. Oh, and by the way, we’re saving money on both electric bills!

Where do I start with this review… I am so grateful I chose Walton’s to install our new AC and furnace. We just purchased our home and even after demanding a full inspection on the AC unit, our AC and furnace were not functional 2 days after moving in. After dealing with the other sketchy companies and the homeowner’s insurance company, we finally said let’s get piece of mind ourselves and for our 1 and half year old, who was sweating through the night at this point. Todd came over and impressed us with how much more he discovered and thought of that no other company had previously mentioned. He assured us that he takes pride in his work and the fact he and his whole team are honest. Finally, we knew we made the right decision, when I asked Todd what would be the outcome if everything was installed and there still was a problem (for example, a pinhole leak somewhere in the tubing in the house), Todd said, no change to the price, and that a job is done when I am happy and everything is working properly. He also offers a warranty.
The day after installation, no cold air was coming out of the vents. I called Walton’s and spoke to Christie. Not only were Randy and Branden (the installers) back at my house within an hour, but they also found a pin-​size hole in the Freon tubing behind the drywall in my house cause by a screw. They fixed it, tested it, and made the appointment for the HERS testing. They came back out during the HERS testing and found even more ways to improve the efficiency of my system, all no extra charge.
Again, I can’t stress enough to anyone worried about picking the right AC company who is honest and going to do the job right, instead of just trying to make a buck and keep their margins, Walton’s is by far the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They were a breath of fresh air after dealing with all the other options.

I have a home from the 60’s with horrendous air conditioning and after a few 100+ degree days I called Walton’s to get an estimate, after getting insanely high quotes from another company who also wouldn’t have time to install for another month, boo.
Todd had time the next morning, and really took him time checking through everything as well as explaining everything to me in detail.
I felt very comfortable dealing with him as well as being very satisfied with the service with the receptionist when I first called.
They are so friendly and trustworthy, I would have no other company in my home for days to complete the task.
He was very respectful of my home, wearing booties and being very careful, very much appreciated.
His quote was also lower than the other company and he was willing to work out other options, instead of just trying to sell me his most expensive unit.
While I did not go through with the upgrade of my a/​c yet due to have other things I need fixed in our home first, Walton’s would be the first and only place I would call from now on when I have any heating or a/​c needs!

Walton’s (July, 2015) refused to honor a 10 year parts warranty for an Amana furnace and air conditioner sold by Erik Walton in April, 2009. The refusal was based on the pretext that the manufacturer (Amana) requires that the unit be professionally maintained (with the receipts to prove it) for the warranty to remain valid. Since we maintained the unit ourselves, Walton’s claimed the warranty was now void.
When I insisted that professional maintenance was not required and that our purchase papers even lists a 10 year parts and 10 year labor warranty, the office clerk sent a technician (Freddy) to repair the air conditioner.
During Freddy’s visit, he diagnosed the problem as a faulty run capacitor, and stated again that I would need to pay for it because the lack of professional maintenance was required for Amana’s warranty. After showing him the purchase papers listing the 10 year warranties for both parts and labor, he called his office, put back the defective part, closed the cowling, took pictures of the unit, and left, saying that either Erik or his manager would be calling me to resolve the matter. I never received a call.
The next day, I called the cell phone number of Erik Walton who stated that he had sold the business to a Las Vegas corporation several months before and was no longer affiliated with Walton’s Heating & Air Conditioning.
I then contacted Amana, used the serial number to identify the furnace & air conditioner at issue, verified that it had a manufacturer’s 10 year parts warranty (the additional 10 year labor warranty listed in the purchase papers was apparently that of Walton’s), and was told explicitly that the lack of professional maintenance «will not effect the warranty in any way…»
If you are a Walton customer having purchased an Amana/​Goodman product or requesting warranty service, and have been told that professional maintenance is required to maintain a valid Amana/​Goodman warranty, you may want to begin addressing the issue by calling Amana Customer Service at 1−877−254−4729.

Don’t fall for the you’re capacitor is the first thing to go out, especially if it’s working fine like mine was. After paying $ 219 to have them replace the capacitor I looked up the part on Amazon and the exact same part retailed for exactly $ 10.00 with free shipping. I know there is a markup and you have to consider travel time, labor, gas, and the all of 5 minutes to install the part.
Nothing worse then feeling like you’ve been taken advantage of, I hope the short term profit made them happy because there is no way I’ll ever call this company again. BTW the original Walton’s installed our system but they have been bought out by a new owner.

I had such a great experience with Walton’s Heating & Air. I had just moved into a townhome with a 30+ year old furnace and was looking to get it replaced. Todd spent a couple of hours with me to understand my needs and walk through all of my options. Luckily, I was able to qualify for the Hero financing program and could pay for the replacement of my entire system over the course of 10 years — and the payments are included on my property tax bill!
When the crew came to install my new system, they were very thorough and worked well into the evening in order to finish the job. They even swept the floors after they were done. :) The installers, Matt and Brandon, were very cordial and respectful.
I received excellent service from Walton’s and recommend them to anyone looking for a very thorough estimate, a fair price and a job completed to the highest standards.

We had our cooking and heating replaced in our fixer upper. I’m glad the sales guy realized we could get by with a 3 ton unit instead of 4; it saved us money. Our installer, Matt, is a pro! He and his guy did the job right and were clean and thorough. Walton’s handles permits with the City too. This is a company you can count on and I would recommend them to anyone looking for any aspect of their HVAC system.

Walton’s guys came out to install a new heating & air conditioning unit. Matt & Brandon were GREAT! They were very respectful of me and my family and they worked hard and fit our new unit with an annual filter in our closet that was just BARELY big enough. They made it fit and gave us clear operating instructions too. I am extremely happy with Walton’s!!!
