Twisted Gourmet

Very bad service here, they must be understaffed because we’ve been here for an hour and we finally complained before we got our food. The garlic cheese bread was good. The wine and beer flights are fun. Singer guitarist was good, but too loud and it makes it hard to talk. We’ve been here during two of his breaks and were able to talk. I saw other people complaining to the manager about not getting any food and two groups got up and left. Just don’t go during rush hour unless you have a lot of time to kill.

Well. to start off sign fell off door onto my husband’s head and back! Crazy! Place was very busy and they were short on staff! No manager around until 7 pm. told him what happened and all he got was are you ok! Not acceptable!!! Paid the full bill not offered any compensation until leaving…

Went on Valentine’s Day and they had a wonderful romantic setup! We got the eye of the tiger pizza, BEST pizza of my life! So amazing! I can die happy after eating it, however I want to go back for more!

Went from one of out favorite places to eat to ‘we wont be back’ :’(First disappointing change was cutting waaay back on their pizza ingredients. First time it happened we chocked it up to an off night for the chef. When it happened again — even after mentioning how disappointed we were on our last visit, got a little suspicious, checked recent Unilocal reviews and someone posted that the chef was told to cut back on the pizza ingredients. When you pay $ 19 for a gourmet pizza — you expect a better pizza than Dominoes. Fast forward a couple of months later, decided to give them one last try. Saturday night at 6:30 and the live entertainment (not conducive to dining) was waay too loud AND the menu was totally revised to the point of being unrecognizable. This time, for sure, we will not be back.

First time I ever ordered here and they start off by not making my order correct. If I drive 15 min to pick up a pizza and spend 34 dollars I better get it correct and no I’m not going to wait so you can make another one. I will not come back. Did they offer me anything instead? No

Good food. Cranberry pizza or pasta is the best. Good beer… Quality has change a little but still taste good.

Made a reservation. The restaurant was packed. The owner was nice, but forgot about us. Asked waiter to help us a few times and it took an hour and a half to be served drinks and appetizers. Although the food was great, but they ran out of everything. Waited 2.5 hours to eat from the time we sat down and was told they ran out of many items. Offered other items instead. After all this, we were not even comped a drink or even the items we had to settle for since the items we originally ordered were not available. Very disappointed.

The owner Rich meets and greets the minute you come to the door, for which he opens it for you and always has kind words.

This is my first time here I’ve lived in Eastvale 3 years visit this shopping center often. My daughter and I ordered the maui wowie pizza, sliced tomato salad, and 2 beers got our pizza and the wrong salad, pizza was delicious waited forever for the correct salad we ordered, cancelled the salad because it took too long ordered another beer cut my lip on the chipped beer glass. Several diners arrived after us noticed 2 other tables complaining about their food, 1 couple left. We noticed 1 table received great service.

Placed a pickup order at 710pm. was told it would be 20min to be ready… showed up at 745 to pick up my order and it was not ready… still wasnt ready by 8pm so i just walked out… only 1 couple at a table in the whole place… terrible service

After a nice afternoon spent in Temecula wine country, my family and I were hungry and searched up something quickly on Unilocal near Corona. We found this place and went in trusting the good reviews on Unilocal but we were definitely misled.
Pizza was thin and not much topping on them. I got the Quattro Amore and another one which I don’t remember its name. Wine and prosecco came out way too late; had to inform my waitress and then again to the owner. Good thing was that the wine glass came out very full to make up for the delay. The rib-​eye was way too salty and cooked medium although we asked medium-​rare; had to send it back to the kitchen and cook it a bit more. Meat itself was very soft and delicious, however. I don’t think I’ll be returning…

Family friendly or date night. Great food and service. Salads taste fresh, dressings taste home made. Try the pepperoni chips. Bread is great. My daughter loved her spaghetti and meatballs. I enjoyed my lemon pasta added asparugus. I like coming here and would return.

Ok, another change. Is there a new owner? Drove across Corona today to grab a pizza for the game. I do love their pizza. Haven’t been in a while. Walked in, table cloths, new tv’s, a new bar, all looking good. Grabbed the pizza, took it home. Opened the box and what happened?
Not the same pizza I’ve eaten for years. Not only that, it wasn’t good. I was trying to be fair because it wasn’t what i was expecting, but it was tough, my jaw got sore. Well this was my last visit. After many years of enjoying the pizza I guess its gone. Now I need to figure out how to break it to my family. It had become a meeting spot when everyone was in town.

Great place! My first time here .
Reasonably priced. Bartender Vince allow us wine snobs to taste before we purchased a bottle.
Our waiter Dominic was fabulous always made sure our needs were neet.
The owner was on hand to ensure everyone was taken care of (great to see).
One suggestion make a reservation.
Music was great, Beetles tribute (Ray’s band).

I went there with two of my favorite friends for lunch on my birthday today. Since we’re all foodies we are always looking for a fabulous mall at a great price! The service was excellent and the food was even better. If you are looking for fabulous food here in the inland empire I strongly suggest The Twisted Gourmet!!! We’re going to go back and check out their prime rib on Friday!

Wow! What an amazing experience. The service was warm and helpful, the food was delicious and the ambiance was great.
The bread knots were yummy. The green sauce was not the pesto I was expecting but a cucumber tangy sauce. And the marinara was good, but nothing groundbreaking.
The bruchetta was fabulous! I loved the balsamic vinegar! Wow. I wish there were more than 6 on a plate.
Yummy wedge salad! The bleu cheese wasn’t overpowering.
I do not recommend the sangria.
The Three Cheese pizza was yummy. Good flavor, but it seemed ordinary next to the Lover’s Pie.
The Lover’s Pie was flavorful and creamy and the cranberries kick in this sweet tang that goes so well with the cheese. The flavor is full and rich. Get. This. Pizza.

Overall, I loved this food. I wish I lived closer so I could return soon. I hope I get to come back!

The food here is pretty good. I usually order for takeout and have had no issues.
However, on my last visit, I brought the wife and kids and had a bit of a negative. When we arrived, it was freezing cold in the restaurant, so I politely asked for a seat outside because of the coldness in the restaurant. They were nice and took us to a seat outside.
After a few seconds the server showed up and asked for our orders. I asked for water and then asked if he would mind giving us a couple of mins.
20 minutes later, we left. We sat at the table with our menus down, waiting. We saw the server come and go, tried to get his attention several times, but were completely ignored, so we left.

Have to be completely honest. We’ve been here when they first opened. Ordered a pizza, and really enjoyed it. Few weeks later we return and the food was not very good. The pasta was over cooked and the pizza totally tasted different from the first time. So we never returned in well over a year.
While hubby was running errands, he tells me he’s bringing home something new… hum?
When he walked and told me from where I was a little surprised that he Mr. Foodie had returned here.
He opened up my container and I was pleased to see a steak Ceasar salad. He ordered their seafood stuffed pasta. I have to say we both really enjoyed our dinner. He said the texture of the pasta was perfect and the stuffing was delicious.
My salad tasted very fresh and they accommodated my no salt on the steak perfect. My favorite was the Caprese appatizer… even though I only had 1bite; (The balsamic sauce is delicious. Even though I had only a drop of it, I’d walk a mile to taste it again ;)
After this meal, we’ll be returning again.
The dining area is average size. Great for kids. They do have a beautiful patio seating and on weekends they have live music performance, so not too loud..

The only thing saving this place from a 1 star is that they offered to treat us to have pizza on them the next time. The only problem is that unless we get overwhelming reviewers that say that Twisted Gourmet reverted back to how they made their food before, why would we take the offer to eat bad food.

When we got back to the office and opened our order, we immediately called. The gentleman we talked to on the phone claimed they kept the old staff. If that is the case then the chef is being told to make the Puerto Nuevo pizza and Love Potion with less ingredients; less cheese, less shrimp, less chicken, thinner crust, dry pizzas. Even the stromboli was not the same. No matter how the staff spins it, it looks bad. We just want the food back the way it was before. If they are cutting back on the ingredients to save money out of necessity, they might as well revamp the menu and start from scratch hope that the new menu and new food is catchy enough to keep from loosing customers.
I would encourage all the old customers to take a look at their order before they leave to make sure all is okay.

I liked everything about our dinner

We started with this bruschetta. The bread was the right doneness — not too crunchy. And the toppings were perfect.
I had a dinner salad. It was good. Not great but really how much can you rave about a side salad
But my pasta. Oh my! Puerto Nurvo pasta. It had briny flavor from capers and creamy garlic flavor. And then huge shrimp cooked perfectly. I would go there again and again for that.

Just had lunch here and had to write an immediate review. Have nothing to say but good stuff about this restaurant!
As soon as I walked up to the restaurant, the door was opened for me from the inside. Thank you to the host for the kind gesture. I was immediately seated after requesting a table for a party of 3. Our server was attentive, quick and very pleasant. Every staff member was very friendly actually… Customer service = A+
I ordered The Tiger Shrimp Salad ($ 12). Talk about ginormous sized and succulent tasting shrimp! The salad portion was huge and in addition to that, I was surprised and beyond satisfied with the amount or shrimp included (see photo)! I’ll definitely order this again. Unlike other salads, this one actually was very filling… My coworker got the same and loved it as much. My other co-​worker tried the Love Potion salad and he enjoyed his meal as well.
They have a bunch of craft beer selections on tap and bottled. Nice… Can’t wait to come back and try other things! The menu items look and ound delicious! Real cool spot… Twisted Gourmey, I am a fan!

Great start. I plan on trying them again soon but am happy my first time, it was a good experience.
Bread knots are great, LOVE the creamy pesto sauce with jalapeño. Will get them again and probably try the garlic bread too.
Pizza is good although the dough seems a little more «bready» than pizza «doughy» but it’s still decent.
I do think they should mop the edge of the crust with a little olive oil right before serving so it glistens and has a little more moisture to it… The edge had a dry look which I think could be easily fixed with a quick hit of olive oil.
We ordered non-​traditional flavors so I can’t speak to things like pepperoni or sausage. Plan on trying those next time.
We tried the sundance kid and the Maui wowie. We liked the Maui wowie better but, I must admit I missed having the traditional pizza flavor. Probably should have gone classic on our first time but, what the hell. We’ll just have to come back.
The macaroon drizzled with chocolate was good but it’s a BIG mistake to serve it cold (and I mean stone cold) from the frig. They really should have one or two out (depending on how many they sell every day) and ready for service at room temperature. Worst case senario, nuke it for a few seconds to take the chill off.
Service was friendly but not overly attentive which I liked. I don’t like it when servers hang around too much.
Will definitely go back and try other pizzas and the Stromboli as well.
If they would serve the macaroon at room temperature and mop the edge of the pizzas with a little olive oil I would add a star.
