On the Paypal App they appear and yes you can pay that way Anywhere –its 2015 people get with it or get out the way! I think i could even pay with Apple pay — SMH… Is there an other place where i can start buying my Mexican bread …

OMG the baked treats were fresh and delightful! It’s a market with a huge bake goods section and a small counter of hot foods. I was a bit intimidated at first but a few minutes in I found myself with a platter of sweet breads and donuts. I just choose whatever an elderly couple had chosen. They didn’t steered me wrong! This morning I made some coffee and sinked my teeth into this powdery bread with a paste filling. Yummmm.

As most Mexican stores, this Bakery/Mini-Restaurant/Mini-Market is very convenient in a Spanish neighborhood in Corona Queens. Sweet breads are their speciality, made freshly constantly at all times. The store has a small section of dairy, meets and cold drinks and other Mexican products. They serve hot food too, tacos, fajitas, flautas and tortas(sandwiches). What I really love, is their conchas(sweet round breads topped with sugar), similar to the ones we make in my country, Honduras, our famous semitas :)! Make sure to have a nice cool tamarind soda with your pan dulce! Coffee not so good, if you love good coffee, go next door for and amazing Cuban Café con Leche at Rincon Criollo Restaurant. The place is well maintain, clean and spacious. Too bad no sitting area available:(. It’s self-service, except for their tacos, tamales and rest of food. Service is ok, their workers are too serious, to me, servicing to the public should ALWAYS be with a pleasant attitude and a smile… no smile, no tip.

I stopped in this Mexican deli to see what they had since it seemed like a bakery/convenient store and a mini restaurant all in one. Most of the patrons were buying these huge looking pieces of bread with different colors on top. I looked it up online and they’re called«pan dulce-Mexican sweet bread.» I asked a customer if they were sweet and bought one with pink topping. It was soft and taste like bread with a light flavor. I would love to return and try some of their other items.

I liked the massive carnitas platter with green sauce, the helpful service and the late hours, but perhaps the most unique facet of this place(called Tulcingo Deli III on the sign), is the red sauce that arrived with the chips in lieu of salsa. I don’t know what it’s called or even how to describe it beyond saying very spicy, but it’s a must-try.

This place has 4 branches scattered around Corona, Junction Blvd. area. It caters to mostly Mexican cuisine. They have a huge breakfast selection of Eggs w/chorizos, hamon, tocino w/refried beans, Tostadas, from regular to grilled Beef, Roast Pork, Tripe, Tacos, all kinds, Cemitas, Fajitas, Tortas, Burritos, Enchiladas, Mariscos«Seafood». Their Platters«Platos» have huge portions. Their menu is extensive. Their tripe is excellent., and so is their Carne Asada. I still have to try their Mole Poblano. I was told their Sopa de Mariscos is to die for. This is the Mexican version of the French Bouillabase. So If you are dying to have axgood Mexican food, this is the place to go.
