We are a family-​owned buisness. Michael Patrick opened shop in 1984, then made the move to east sixth street in 1991. Where Smog stop currently resides. His Daughter-​in-​law Rhonda now runs Smog Stop and it is her mission to keep Smog Stop’s thriving reputation.

Very nice family ran business today was my 2nd time using this business. My 1st visit was last year with my wife’s car. They are reasonably priced great customer service on both of my visits I was in and out in 30mins. I will definitely be recommending this place to anyone I know that needs to get a smog test.

I do not know how this place got high reviews. My one and last experience with them. I call them to find out if they had time to smog my car. Set up a time to come there. Got there at time time we schedule to have the place closed. Really? How are they even in business. Go somewhere else that respect your time!

Cheapest price I could find for our RV smog, Travis had to work extra hard because my battery died mid test, and was awesome to work with. Will be going here again!

This will be my smog place for a very long time. Prices are very reasonable, and the smog tech Travis is extremely knowledgeable. When my truck failed smog three times, Travis was really helpful with recommendations where and how to get it fixed. And he was 100% correct about everything. Service is always fast here, and they will help you in any way possible to get your vehicle to pass smog. I highly recommend this place!

Wow! This is the most professional and efficient Smog Station I’ve ever been to. Family owned and operated for 30 years. Always the best service and most friendly environment. They Smog any type of vehicle and never any hidden fees. Same flat rate for everyone ($ 55 out the door) ever since I’ve been going here. Hassle free service and very informative in providing clear and honest clarification on any identified deficiencies. Always have reliable and reasonable references for repair needs. Plus they are a Star Certified Test Only center so we can take our vehicles there every year no matter what the DMV throws at us and there is continuity on our service. Highly recommend you give this place a shot, you will never go anywhere else. Thank you Smog Stop!

Family owned and operated. Same guys running the back since forever ago. The kind of place you can send your wife, daughter or mom and know that you won’t get the «will you take care of this next time» sigh when they get home. I won’t go anywhere else as long as they’re in business.
This isn’t a dealership service area or waiting room. Running a smog station doesn’t make you the kind of money to be installing coin top flooring and a K-​Cup dispenser. If you need that for your 15 minute wait, keep heading west on the 91 about 10 miles.

A bit hard-​to-​find, if you don’t know where they are.
(It’s just west of the Salvation Army on the east end of 6th street, in an industrial building. There’s a gravel/​dirt driveway and parking area and the signage is small, so you have to slow down to spot the entrance.)
