Called Juan for a quote on my kitchen. We set a time and I told him to please let me know if he could not make it for any reason. I, like most busy people, really value my time. He did not show up for the appointment, so I called him to see what the problem was and no call back since.

Precision Granite is far from ‘precision’ when it comes to their work. What a nightmare. A lot of these reviews on Unilocal for this company are obviously bogus. They weren’t the cheapest company I got a quote from but after reading reviews and talking with them, I felt like it was a good decision — WRONG!
Juan came to my house and gave me his word on a few things that were important to me to ensure a good quality job. He failed to uphold all of them. Even the simplest thing of me asking him to be on-​site at the start of the project (which he promised he would) he failed at. As a matter of fact, I didn’t see him again after he took my deposit. Contrary to what the website wants you to believe, Juan is not the owner. The owner actually came out to apologize after this fiasco but did nothing to remedy the damage. He gave me a $ 10 cleaning kit — laughable.
They left my kitchen and parts of my downstairs in shambles. I waited a few months to write my review so I could calm down and think logically… and yup, I have every reason to (still) be upset. They destroyed my drywall completely saying that it was difficult to remove the old tile. I find that impossible to believe because they removed the bottom 6″ of old tile without putting a dent in the drywall since they had to put 6″ backsplash up as part of the job in that area. The rest of the drywall above 6″? They didn’t have to put tile up so they literally jack-​hammered the wall apart. I’m talking holes that I could fit my fist into.
They ripped out my kitchen sink to put in their included sink and left all of the plumbing on the floor with parts stripped and ripped out. The garbage disposal was FULL of old tile chunks that luckily I saw before using the disposal. The granite was put on unevenly so there is a huge gap underneath the granite where it meets the counter. They destroyed the drywall underneath my counter too. The silicone around my sinks fell apart after a day. There was a thick layer of dust everywhere downstairs because they failed to setup a good dust barrier (if you could call it that). I mean, seriously, the list goes on-​and-​on. Ultimately, it cost me more money in the long run to use this company and I spent days and over $ 500 putting up new drywall and fixing the problem.

After reading the reviews here, I really wanted to like this company. Let me say up front that I initially asked for a bid to replace part of our existing kitchen — the original installer did a poor job and we’ve got some serious cracking. I spoke with someone on the phone, he was very pleasant and we set up an appointment.
On the day of the appointment, the person that was coming out called me half an hour after they were supposed to show up and told me that they wouldn’t be interested in a repair, so they wouldn’t be making it out — she was pleasant about it. I told her that I still would like an estimate on replacing the whole kitchen. We re-​scheduled. I confirmed the appointment, but they never showed nor apologized. No communication. I rescheduled again, got verification that they would be there, they didn’t show nor reply any of my messages after that point. My guess is that they are too busy, but that is no excuse for blowing off three appointments and just plain not showing up or apologizing.

I shopped around for quotes for quartz countertops and Juan’s pricing was the most affordable. His workers were very professional and quick with demolition and installation. His price even included the plumbing! I’m very happy with his work and have recommended him to my friends and family.

I have had a great experience with Juan and Precision Granite Countertops & Flooring from beginning to end. Juan arrived at my home, gave me a free estimate and about a week later, I have gorgeous gray quartz countertops. I received 5 other quotes, and his was almost $ 500 less than the others. Not only were they the most affordable, but I was very happy with the quality of work. I’m really quite a perfectionist and they did a great job on the seams (they are hardly visible), which says a lot for a solid quartz. I highly recommend them. (A side note: we wanted square corners – not rounded – but I didn’t think to mention this to Juan. After they cut the first pre-​fab, I was disappointed with the round corners. Juan was super helpful & called the guys on the job to recut the slab so the corners were square. I really appreciated the extra work they did to give me exactly what I wanted at no additional cost.)

Great job guys! Don’t hesitate to go with these guys for a second. Price was right in line with other quotes — even better than most and the quality of their work is excellent. Juan arrived at 6:45AM and finished at 6:40PM but we had 5 pre-​fab slabs that were 9ft. each. Great job, very professional from the in-​home quote we received to the completed installation. We would recommend these guys to all of our friends and you will to.

After dealing with three other guys that claim to do granite and then didn’t show up for the job I was very pleased to find Juan. I called him and he was very pleasant to work with and went above and beyond my expectations. We had him install granite into our home in Big Bear City, CA and he and his guys came up and did the entire install in one day! That included demo, cutting granite on site and install for kitchen and two bathrooms! The crew was extremely polite and cleaned up after themselves. They worked extremely hard, in the rain and into the night. They didn’t get done till 9:30pm but didn’t mind staying late to finish since I was on a time line and needed it done. I am very pleased with the work Precision Granite performed for me and I would definitely hire them again. I even referred them to another friend up in Big Bear and they did an amazing job for him as well. If you are looking for the right guys at the right price call them today!

Our horror story began when we met Cory Spafford of Shop Cabinets 4 Less. Cory seemed to be a ‘nice guy’, Laid back, calm, and knowledgeable. He had great design ideas to add to ours. He was prompt in responding to our calls, texts, and emails. We were comfortable with him. And then it happened, at the Granite yard. We made the mistake of paying him. Soon after, we began receiving texts that the cabinet delivery is delayed, AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN… Suddenly we no longer could reach Cory by phone. After 4 days of leaving Messages and Texts we sent emails. We finally got an email response from him stating he had a family emergency and left his phone at? He would never respond to our requests that he use some ones phone other than his own. We believed his stories at first. We actually felt very sorry for his situation. Then, we wised up. LIES, ALL LIES! We never had seen a review of Cory on Unilocal.But on Dec. 9^th an angle wrote a review that opened our eyes. We called our Credit card Company and explained the situation. I don’t know if they had him on file or if this is a common occurrence but they IMMEDIATELY reversed the charges. We found out later that the Granit slabs we fell in love with, were never paid for by Cory and they were sold to someone else. Also it turns out the place Cory had used on a few occasions to order cabinets had never been contacted by him for a price quote or order. BTW the cabinets are IN STOCK! It was on Unilocal we found we found many favorable reviews for Juan and Gary. Well called and left a message. After all that we had been through, being lied to, stolen from and a family of 6 using a laundry room as a make-​shift kitchen for over a month our expectations were very low. But our bad luck with Cory changed to good luck with Gary and Juan. We spoke with them on the phone on a Sunday, met with them on a Monday, and off to Cabinet and Granit shopping on Tuesday. We received a very reasonable quote on Wednesday and work began on Thursday. Today is Sunday, just one week after our first call to Gary and Juan. Our cabinets are 75% complete (there is A LOT of decorative trim and Applica’s). Tomorrow we are expecting our granite installation and finishing work on our cabinets to be completed. This company is truly AMAZING; Excellent customer service and response time. I must also give a shout out to their Assistant Designer Melissa; shopping with her and Juan gave us an exciting and thoughtful experience. I will follow up when the kitchen is complete.

From start to finish everything was very professional. Juan showed up on time, answered all of our questions, was patient with me while I kept changing my mind and always answered my phone calls or got back to me right away. The crew (a different Juan and Jose) showed up on time, kept everything clean and tidy. They demoed without damaging our cabinets as well. The cuts were all perfect and the install was great! The price was great and the service was amazing. I would totally recommend them to everyone!

Precision Granite was fantastic for us to work with! I knew we had the right company when they came out to our house on a late Sunday afternoon to let us view some granite samples. Every person we encountered was nice, professional, and just a pleasure for us to work with. They helped us select a beautiful granite counter top and we couldn’t be happier. They worked until they got the job done even though it was after 7:30 PM at night.
They are all very knowledgeable and extremely good at what they do. They exceeded our expectations and we could not be happier with our countertops. I would recommend them to everyone we know.

Found them through Unilocal.A very punctual, reliable, fast customer service! Knew what I wanted, but had to ask lots of questions and to send many e-​mails. After receiving the detailed replies on my many e-​mails (Juan responds right away!!!) and an appointment at our house, we’ve decided to go with them. The countertops were installed within a day. Juan and his crew (we had 3 people in total) started at 8am and finished at 7:30pm. During the whole installation all the mess was cleaned out right away (we were a bit worried about new laminate floors we recently installed). We still need to install backsplash (we want mosaic tile), but looking every time at our new countertops makes us feel very happy. :) Thank you, Juan!!!

Going to get straight to the point… Precision Granite far exceeded my expectations in every way possible.
Juan is very friendly, courteous, and very trustworthy. At first, I showed him a sample of granite that I was hoping to get from him. He told me that he can get that one but listening to what we wanted out of our granite, Juan recommended a different one. He listened to what I wanted out of the end result and offered suggestions to heighten my expectation even if it was cheaper. The one he chose was a 1000% better than the original sample. Within a day or 2, he and his workers were at my house cutting and installing our beautiful granite counter-​tops. He was done by the end of the day too!
Most granite contractors would try to sell you the more expensive/​high profit products. I did not get that experience from Juan. When he was done with the project, we had told him that we would not want the scrap granite pieces for any other future projects. Days later we changed our mind and decided to ask for the scrap granite (which he happened to still have) to create cool matching window sills above the granite. I gave him the measurements and he came through again. Did he charge me for them??? NOPE! Another way he exceeded my expectations.
I would HIGHLY recommend his services if you are looking for granite. He is friendly and easy to get a hold of if there are any questions.
Lastly, Juan also referred me to his Uncle who does cabinets. The best cabinets and cheapest prices that you will find! They are RTA cabinets but his prices were cheaper than any other RTA cabinet that I could find… Including the Internet businesses. After ordering, I had my cabinets withing 2 days. days after that, I had my granite.
If I ever needed any more granite, Juan is my guy!

I found precision granite on Craiglist. The owner Juan returned my call within an hour and set up an appointment. I was very pleased with the selection of granite samples as he even left my two favorite ones so I can decide. A few days later the granite was installed with no issues and it looks great! I’m very happy. If you are looking for a quick, no hassle install at a great price.
We totally recommend Precision Granite Countertops.

Just like some of the reviewers said, found these guys on Craigslist and was skeptical at first. I en read the Unilocal reviews and decided to call. From the beginning of Martin coming out with flooring samples and giving me an estimate to the install and finished product… fantastic! These guys are professional, courteous, helpful, honest and highly referrable. Since the flooring went so smoothly and is exactly what we wanted, I will definitely be using them for counters next. I hope to send many more customers to Juan and Martin. Thanks guys for such a great job!

Just had Juan’s guys out for a second visit for granite installation. They are amazing. Let me tell you about the first install: I had appointment with ANOTHER installer out of Redlands to do my entire kitchen and the guy sneak emails me at midnight the night before my appointment and says he can’t make it. This was going to be a disaster for my entire schedule. I got on the phone in the morning and thank God I found Precision. Juan assured me that they would get the job done that day despite the fact that he was at Disneyland at the time. He took time to set up his crew and have them out by noon on a Saturday with absolutely no notice. I’m sure this took time away from his family to set it all up and I am indebted for it. The project was installed exactly as I wanted and they worked late into the evening so I could have the floors done on Monday. Way to go!
The second install wasn’t nearly as pressure packed, but Cesar laid down some amazing pieces around my fireplace and at 2 bathrooms. Every seam and detail was perfect and as a Home Inspector I see shoddy workmanship every day. They will take their time and do it right the first time. These guys nailed it. I highly recommend them unless you want to waste your money with somebody else.

I previously wrote a great review for Juan at Precision Granite. That review was based on Juan coming back to finish the job he was paid to do. He installed granite and bamboo hardwood floors in my home. However, he never came back to install the t-​molding nor paint the floor boards for the floors.
Juan made several appointments but never showed up. He refuses to answer any of my or my husbands phone calls.
Buyer BEWARE!

When it comes to contractors, I get really nervous because the reputation of contractors are that they are unreliable. This was NOT the case with Precision! I sketched out my measurements and Juan got me an estimate immediately. The pricing was very reasonable so I had Juan stop by that following Saturday. He came with lots of samples and was very professional and on time. I was impressed and booked him for the following weekend to install the granite countertops in my Master and spare room bathrooms.
They took their time with the install, asked a lot of questions on how I liked things, and was very communicative on certain details. I was very specific on the fixtures I wanted to keep and how I wanted the backsplash. They delivered as promised, spent quality time putting in the countertops and my bathrooms look fantastic! I would recommend Precision in a heartbeat!
