History

Established in 2005.

Pole Position Raceway was created in September 2005 in Corona, California, by co-​founders Jason Williams and Ken Faught. The growth and expanding popularity of indoor karting, combined with first-​class operations, have made Pole Position Raceway one of the fastest growing companies in the sport. During expansion, Williams and Faught teamed up with Brad Mark for the Las Vegas track.

President of Race P2R, Inc. is the former editor-​in-​chief of Dirt Rider magazine, is a three-​time land speed record holder at the famed Bonneville Salt Flats and was the co-​host of Motorcyclist TV on Speed Channel and Dirt Rider Adventures on OLN. He’s also appeared on CBS’ 60 Minutes II, ESPN, Fox Sports, Fuel TV and more.

5 full stars for this awesome place! It was my first time here but certainly won’t be the last. In fact I purchased a membership which was a really smart move. I love how open and clean it is. The cars are really fast and consistent. The track was challenging yet easy to figure out after just a couple of laps. Most importantly, and this is a big one for me; customer service was top-​notch. I want to give a shout out to Caleb who went out of his way to make us feel very welcome. He accommodated us by explaining how everything works and he was really friendly from the moment we walked in. I can’t wait to come back next week!
Edit 6÷18÷2016: I’ve been here an additional 5 visits and I want to give a special thank you to JAKE for the amazing customer service and personal attention. I bought memberships for my kids as well and Jake made them feel like superstars! I recommend this place to all my friends and family. Well worth the drive to come here. Kids race for free on THURSDAYS so be sure to take advantage of this!

Disrespectful customer service. I purchased membership for 3 races and I brought more friends to show around and enjoy. was very disappointed at their front desk ppl. I asked for private race for our group of 8 ppl and they said no problem but may need to wait for 2 groups. Later i found out other ppl name added on our race and i checked with their front desk person. She told me because the place is open to public, other can join anytime. This was well upsetting for me and my other friends who came here for the first time. I have complained and we were able to get our private race after another 2 groups. Waste of time for our group 8 and will definitely not use my 3rd race because i do not want to experience these snow jobs they were doing it on us and oh ye all my friends did not like the look on their face and telling more friends about it

When we first came in, they said they will put us 8 in separate race but later they added 3 random person in our party. We complained and they ended up putting us in our own race but we waited extra 30 minutes. I understand their situation but their attitude when we complained was very unprofessional. It was the girl but later the guy came in and fixed our situation. If they can add public people into our race, least thing they can do is letting us know.

Good race. I enjoyed this place. Our wait was only about 15 minutes or so. Good prices and nice cars. My son went a couple of weeks ago and the girl remembered him by name. That is awesome. I will go back. Lots of fun.

Man!!! This place is amazing despite the fact that me and my family showed up and late Pole Position still accommodated us and stayed late just for us to race can’t imagine a place giving better customer service than this place. Two thimbs up to the pole position team and the manager S. thank you guys we had an amazing time. Will recommend to all my friends and family.

had a blast! our 1st time in california/​corona. we bought the membership deal 2 races (24 laps) got a t-​shirt. my kids 6yrs & 8yrs couldn’t get enough! jake & tyler were amazing & gave us the 5star treatment! great customer service. my daughter was a little hesitant before riding but tyler talked her right out of being scared. definitely coming back before heading home to maui!

This is a pretty fun one and less expensive than K1speed if you become a member. They started installing a pool table, arcades, and a pinball machine here too. Pretty good selection of food too — hot dogs, hamburgers, soda, energy drinks. Evenings and weekends are typically the best days to go if you want to race other people. Unfortunately, these types of places tend to attract very young racers that are probably junior high plus so it can be kind of weird if you’d rather socialize bring a friend or date. I beat Travis Pastrani’s top time so that’s a plus!

I was a little late on revising my last review which was a bad one because of my experience. But I did come back the following month and had another bad experience which was even worse. So we ended talking with the manager and after talking for a while, he really did an amazing job to accommodate our bad experience and gave free races for our team and paid for our next endurance race which was free! The experience on the following one was great! Everything went smooth. I still think the race can be organized better and that penalties are better given but the experience was much better. Employees are fun to talk to and if I lived closer, I wouldn’t mind coming back.

I came in on 11⁄02 my birthday to get a free race since I have a membership. The place just opened for the day so I was by myself in the race which was great because I was going for a decent laptime on the track for my first time on that configuration. I have to say I really enjoyed the track set up this time over the last visit I had more then a year ago probably. The karts are pretty nice as far as comfort, nice speed to them. I just wish the races were longer, they seem like a sprint to the checkered and goes by really fast. If I lived closer I would come a little more often. But I do like poleposition better then k1. The karts seem a lot better, its most likely the tires they have on the karts compared to the ones at k1 that are super wide for no apparent reason. Cheaper as well for the same racing time.

Awesome place, thank you for letting us host our meets here! Super cheap races compared to other places. The staff is very friendly and the wait time isn’t too long in between races. This is the only go karting place that I go to! Only downside is that it’s quite a commute from where I live.

Love coming to this place. Allows for fair and competitive racing at ideal speeds. They also take pride in track conditions and changing the course of the track. They switch it every few months, making it fair game for those old and new to the track. It’s definitely my go to indoor karting track. The crowds aren’t too large, which makes for consistent, non-​stop races. Give it a try– it’s fun.

I suck at racing but this was CHOKE fun! I came in dead last with the group I was in but would definitely pay again to race.
We came in at 5:00pm on a Tuesday and there was only one other person here… so we practically had the course to ourselves.
Another group of four people came in afterwards so we decided to race again. I redeemed myself and came in fourth on my second race. Hallelujah!
Its definitely a good way to release some frustration! Awesome idea for group and company functions!
I signed up for the annual membership since it would be a better deal for two races. You also get a free t-​shirt with the membership. If you do get the annual membership make sure you ask for the t-​shirt, the guy who helped me didn’t give it to me nor did he offer it.
The service is OK. Not spectacular. Not bad. I guess its whats expected from this kind of establishment. The briefing before you race was very thorough and easily understandable.
If its your first time racing, make sure you register yourself on the iPads found at the far end of the counter.
It is a bit pricey but worth it for the amount of fun you’ll have.

This is my favorite spot to go kart where every Wednesday the girls ride for free. 12 laps for 20 bucks unless you’re a member which the price is 15 bucks. Most of the time you’ll be able to race right away.

Groupon deal is amazing !!! $ 30 for 3 races. However, it was only good Monday — Friday, but still awesome! I just wish that they opened until later so that we weren’t in such a rush to get here :(Although we did come on a Friday night, it wasn’t packed at all!!! It felt like we were the only group there, which is nice, cause then we had the whole track to ourselves :)
Area is nice, pretty much in a very open space lot? Haha. The staff was super friendly. Very nice and even got the girls some «baby seats» … as I’d like to call them lol basically gives you more cushion so that you can reach the pedals haha. You’ll have to watch a 3 min intro video on safety and how to use the carts, nothing too crazy or complicated. You’ll be REQUIRED to wear these «socks» on your head LOL I like to call them condoms hahahah cause it makes you look funny. Oh! And you’ll also get scoresheets after each race to see how well you did compared to everyone else. Sadly, I was always last place … sigh :(
Tips:
— Must wear close toe shoes (flats, sneakers, etc)
— Helmets come in different sizes — XS, S, M, L (Ladies should be M)
— It’ll get pretty hot so try not to wear too much. It’s indoors!
— For 3 races, it took about 1 hour (rest, prep, etc), as each race probably lasted for 10 mins
— You’ll need to register before you can start racing & it’ll make you sign a waiver as well
— Carts are fairly clean, and they’re really good with the safety issues
— You don’t need reservations! Just come on in :)
— They have a shelf for you to place your belongings as well
