My review is on the printing services. I wanted to get 200 copies of invitations printed. I called first and they told me no problem come in and make sure I email a copy to them. When I get there, no one can find the email that I had sent one hour previously, even though I had a confirmation email with me. After 2 people looked, a third found it quickly. This took 20 minutes. Then they said they couldn’t open it because it came from an older computer…(shouldn’t you have told me this when I first called and asked? like say, «computer must be 2014 or newer or something?»(mine is 2011)). They ensured me that this never ever happens, which kind of made me feel worse. Then they tried to open and print it, but all the graphics were gone! Finally all three people told me that this was not their section and that when Tim got off break, he could help. I was literally there for 2 hours! Tim was heaven sent and the reason they got any stars at all. He knew what he was doing and was very efficient. If you get any work done, make sure Tim is there, no one else there has a clue.

Went here to check out the printers on sale and was possibly going to purchase one. We also we’re going to check out tablets but what products is flimsy and when I went to use the restroom, it was disgusting. The store was practically empty and there were several employees standing around doing nothing but the bathroom looks like they hadn’t been cleaned in a week. Definitely not going back. Yes clean restrooms do matter.

Take some pride in your store. Workers were all standing around and the store was a mess. If there’s no business take some pride in your facility and cleaning. Your bathrooms are horrendous.

The service here is better than other office supply stores. They always scan my prints on to my flash drive with ease. They take time to talk to me and see what I want and need to make sure they get everything right. The print service is fast. Eric in Business Services Department is friendly and efficient. He knows what he is doing and has great customer service skills. I would highly recommend coming in for print service. Overall, I’m very pleased.

So I needed some school flashcards copied onto card stock and decided this would be a good place to get that done. Wrong. It’s Wednesday at 2:30pm, there were three dudes working behind the counter(all were reading magazines) and I asked about getting this simple project done. The guy told me it would take FOURHOURS to do this. Hmmm, this seemed strange when not a single printing machine or copier in the place was buzzing with activity and the staff definitely didn’t look busy reading their magazines. I quickly walked out. They lost business. If the owner reads this, please fire these dudes or get better help. I know good help is hard to find but at least you should hire people that want to make money for you right? Do NOT go here. Try Staples or somewhere else.

ADDITION: I returned another item I did not need, and bought stuff, and this time, they were friendly and helpful, so I guess it’s a hit or miss! :)

They have always had what I needed when I needed it. Whether it is copier paper, sharpies, or printer ink, they have always had in stock what I need. The location is convenient and the staff members have always been friendly. It is a bit pricey compared to similar supplies you could get at Walmart or Target.

This store is consistently having issues ringing items up. When I mentioned it to the manager, she half heartedly apologized. I realized she doesn’t care and will never fix the issue. Buyer beware.

So I overslept and came in late on Black Friday(1030ish?), hoping to get a door buster product since this particular Office Depot doesn’t tend to have a lot of patronage. As soon as I walked in, an employee walked up and asked if I needed any help finding anything. I told him what I was looking for, and he escorted me there, found the empty spot where they had kept it them in stock. Then he offered(«Just in case») to check the computer to make sure they were truly out of stock. The computer showed one in stock, but with nothing left on the shelf, he went to the back and looked, then had the manager come by and look. No go. And the salesman looked truly disappointed for me. «Would another model be okay, is there a feature you were looking for?» «Bluetooth-enabled.» And off he went checking the other models for bluetooth capability. Nothing, unfortunately. «Is there anything else I can help you find, how is your printer ink level?» Frankly, I’d expected them to be out of stock anyway. But holy cow what a song and dance. At a chain store, no less. They’d pretty much earned 5 stars already, I’ve never gotten and never would expect to get, that level of service at a big box chain office supply store. And here is where the 5 stars comes in. The manager locates another store which still has that item in stock. Then, CALLS that store up and asks them to hold the item for me, so that no one would buy it in the time it would take for me to drive over there. That’s service. Even though the manager was put on hold by the other store for forever, she happily held the line for me. Once is an anomaly. Last time I had pretty good service too. I don’t know what they’re putting in the water over there, but they’re doing something right. Rarely do people have an office supply store of choice. But now I’ve got mine.

Office Depot, Office Max, Staples, hmm, nothing to really separate them from each other. They are all pretty much the same to me. I go to any of the above 3 whichever one is closest, but it would be to get something that Costco or Sam’s does not carry. My best memory from here is on a couple of black fridays, it just seems crazy and you have the store manager gentleman or someone that manages the chaos. I’ll call him the«Enforcer». You act up or try to cheat in line, you will get booted from the store. One customer tried to plea and argue, out he went. He will carry his voice and get the line moving so everyone can get their deals in a civilized fashion.

The one and only time I bought anything from this dead Office Depot was not the greatest of experiences. I bought a $ 4 item and it turned out to be the wrong size so I brought it back. I had the receipt and it was not opened but the clerk still had to call a manager? Way to empower your employees to make decisions. Anyways, when the manager came over she made some comment about how she can’t believe they are still carrying this product and nobody ever buys them. She was pretty rude. But whatever, there’s an office supply store on every corner anyway that I can go to.
