I can’t say enough how pleased I am with the work Jason and Nick did in creating addition office space within my companies distribution center. The City of Corona made this rather simple build incredibly difficult to deal with, but the guys did everything by the book and had to put up with at least 7 different city inspectors along with the outrageous antics of the cities building department. They were very helpful and accommodating with the rolling changes made during construction. The final results were better than expected and if I need anything else in the future with this building, or my personal residence, they will be the first I call because they proved to me they are a customer first operation.

Please don’t waste your time with this company. Set an appointment for an estimate for work to be done, but they never showed up. Calls to them went unreturned and no courtesy phone call to let us know they won’t be coming. Never given an explanation. Worthless.

As a small business one is always attempting to find reputable contractors to complete small projects. Look no further than HW General Contracting. I found Nick and Jason to be competitively priced and they completed the work in a timely and cost efficient manner. I was impressed with the quality I received for the price I paid. HOWEVER, the most impressive aspect of dealing with them was their on-​going interaction with me to make sure I got the most value for my dollar. When architectural plans called for something that was either more costly or not the best use of the space they offered me options to consider. When it came to the completion of an ADA compliant restroom they were instrumental in city approvals and a completed project at a very competitive price.
What more can you ask for! An ethical contractor that shows up for work, bids a fair price and is working in the best interest for you. I would use them for any future projects I have.

I called to get a quote to repair a leaking Spanish tile roof. They replied promptly and scheduled a time to inspect the damage and give an estimate.
They arrived EXACTLY ON-​TIME, were friendly and professional, and inspected the damaged roof. They contacted me later that day with a reasonable estimate. I hired them to complete the repair. We scheduled the repair a few days later the same week and again, they arrived EXACTLY ON-​TIME! They completed the repair and and explained the entire repair process. Very professional, honest, and friendly.
I’m extremely satisfied with this contracting/​construction company! I would highly recommend this company for any and all projects you have! I will DEFINITELY contact them again in the future for any new projects at my home.

I called to get a quote on installing a gas fireplace. We made an appointment for a couple of days later. Nick and Jason showed up right on time.
They were professional looking, professional sounding and very friendly. After taking all the measurements and discussing what I needed, they told me I would have a quote in a few days — and I did.
I got several other quotes and theirs was very competitive. I really liked their attitude and the great reviews on Unilocal,so I hired them.
The electrician came the day before to move some electrical lines and audio cables. He did an excellent job. They came the next day and did the framing. There was a small snafu with the plumber, he got hung up on another job, so rather than start his work late in the afternoon, we arranged to finish on another day. They showed up in force on that day and finished the job.
I still need rock work done around the fireplace and once the cabinetry is finished, I will have them do the work.
Jason and Nick are very customer-​centric, making sure we were happy with the work.
In a nutshell — very professional, very courteous and great work.
Highly recommended.

Left messages. Never even a call back. Really? You want someone like this doing work for you?! If you’re too busy for the work at least make the call back and say so.

Jason showed up to our house and was very friendly and seemed eager to help us remodel our kitchen in a way that we wanted but still affordable. Our budget wasn’t enormous, but it wasn’t a small project by any means either (i.e. it was worth money to his business).
When he left the house after the initial visit, he promised he would be in touch within a few days after collecting some information. After a few days of no contact, I called him twice to no answer. I then emailed him the next day. The next day after that, he emailed back to let us know he hadn’t had a chance to do anything yet and will be checking things out «this weekend.» I never heard from this company again. …After 4 weeks from our initial visit with Jason with no contact at all, we let him know to forget about the work.
All I can say is that I’m grateful to Jason for having shown us how undependable his company was for us *before* we began our construction project with him rather than after.

I am the Operations Mgr for Nuvia Water Technologies in Corona Ca. Recently we moved our business to a much larger but out dated facility that require a lot of construction and tenant improvements to be performed before we could make this the new Home of Nuvia. HW Gen Contracting was one of the companies I found here on Unilocal with «high ratings». Nick and Jason were professional, affordable and on time. I really got the impression that they take pride in the work they do and I would ASOLUTELY recommend them to any commercial company considering a remodeling. HW handled our demo, remodel, HVAC, plumbing, painting and carpet, making it very easy to coordinate such a big project when you are dealing with just one team. I will be using these guys for some home projects very soon. I wish this company continued success… by their work, I’m sure that wont be a problem. This company is awesome. After the big rain storm we had, my fence at my rental property was leaning over and it needed help. First I tried calling a fence repair place and they all told me they can’t get to it till the end of the month. Jason returned my call very quick was able to get out to my property and get me a quote the very same day. Than he emailed me a quote with a description and price. They showed up the next day and did the repairs as promised on time and my tensest said the job looked great. They were very professional and did as promised. I will be using them again

I wrote a glowing review for this company a few years back, and it’s no longer posted here. Back then, they poured 2 cement slabs for us. Well, HW just did a tear out and install of a shower for us. This review? Still GLOWING! We are regular, budget-​tight homeowners. You know, the kind that most contractors won’t bother to even return your call because the job is too small? Jason and Nick are nitpicky, and don’t care if it’s a $ 2,000 job or a $ 200,000 job — it will be done RIGHT, they will show up on-​time, and they clean up. There were a few «surprises» that neither of us knew about when the job began. They analyzed the situations, talked to us about the best ways to solve the problems, and didn’t hesitate to fix them CORRECTLY. No price gouging, no glossing over the issues. They deserve 10 STARS! Call whomever you want, but ONLY HIRE HW. Yes, Virginia, there IS an excellent contractor out there — it’s called HW General Contracting — these guys are the BEST!

HW installed tile in my kitchen and it turned out great! I was very impressed with how professional and clean HW General Contracting was, and extremely clean with their work which is rare with contractors. When they left you couldn’t even tell they were here, they literally left ZERO mess. I will recommend them to everyone I know.
