Best breakfast in Corona. Hands down! The older woman who answers the phones and takes orders is a bit snippy but my desire for the food outweighs her annoyance at life. lol

Food was okay but 2 orders of toast were burnt and service was really slow even though there were only a few patrons. Do not plan to return even though it is convenient.

Walked in. weird vibe. they took our name down and we waited. there were two empty tables and we weren’t seated. a party of 3 came in after and they offered us the smallest table in the restaurant and gave the party of three, the larger table… finally sat down, «at the smallest table ever». .we were sitting for at least 15 minutes and nobody was eating or being served food. If you want to sit at a super small table and wait forever for breakfast. this is your place… Needless to say we walked out after our drinks arrived…

For lunch today, I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap and it came to me 24 minutes later. Wrapped in a hot flour tortilla, cheddar cheese, cucumbers, hardly any lettuce and drenched in dressing. What fail in making a salad wrap. Not worth ten bucks!

Friendly staff with pretty yummy food at an unexpected location in an industrial area. I had the Hunny omelette with bacon, Swiss, & tomatoes topped with avocado. It was a very flavorful omelette, although really a scramble and not an omelette.

We had their food at the M 15 concert. Wings were tasty and good, club sandwich was big . Good overall, from what we tasted.

Have visited here 3 times for breakfast. Always a great experience! Great food, reasonable prices, and great service. Plus a discount for Vets! What more can you ask for? Go and get your grub on!

Pretty much hits all the the mom and pop diner requirements lol. This area is still very much a small town feel, so you can’t expect class A service. Level your expectations people.

Service is really good, staff is very very friendly and prices are not bad considering how big the portions are. Food overall is very good there is a couple of items that are not too great but overall is not bad. The restaurant itself is a little run down could defiantly use some remodeling but I also thing it is part of the environment.

It was 5 til 9… I get they close at 9. I wanted a to go soup, to bring next door… it’s most likely premade. Ladle in a container and get tipped on it. Mind, there were still customers inside. Anyways, no soup. Seriously. I keep trying to give this place a second chance. Nope.

I don’t really see how they’ve been able to stay open. The service was lacking. The server seemed annoyed we were there. The mashed potatoes were like glue and the gravy … Wasn’t. My husbands pancakes had dirt from the griddle on them and we had dirty silverware. I sent back my potatoes for fries. They were greasy and awful. The Mojo potatoes… Are thick and powdery. We had to get up and get our own ketchup etc. Our server never came back but to drop off the check. When I paid, the girl at the register asked how everything was. I said not good. She didn’t get a manger, say sorry, nothing. Wasn’t worth the money.

Been coming here for long time. But I have to say the food and the waitresses just don’t do it for me anymore. The food seems like it’s lacking lately and the waitresses just aren’t as friendly as they use to be. They have a lot of new waitresses and they just aren’t friendly at all. The food portions are getting smaller and smaller every time we go and the flavor is lacking. I hope the owner reads these because he may not know what’s going on. I love this place and I hope they get it together.

This was my first time eating at Hunny’s Café. I ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffle was amazing but the chicken breast was under cooked. I told the waitress who apologized and took the breast from me in which I had eaten part of with my fork. She later returned with the same breast but just cooked a little longer. This surprised me because I didn’t know you can recook eaten food that a customer returned. I wasn’t sure if this was a health code violation or not. If they put my food half eaten back in the grease how many other customers they were doing this to. I did like the place the food and the service but not sure if I’ll be back if they have unsafe food practices. I get sick easy so I don’t want to take a chance but besides that I had a good experience.

Held out returning for almost 3 years, thinking this location was a dud. But Mr. B wanted a dog friendly eating place for Sunday breakfast. He came up with Hunny’s. I am happy to report that my experience was not the same this time around. I even ordered the same food. I am a sucker for fried chicken, and this small chain was known for just that. But three years ago they had served up some really nasty chicken that tasted like it had been pre-cooked several days earlier. Happily, the fried chicken was cooked fresh this time. And the chicken breast would have been even better, had I remembered to cut it open to let the steam out the minute they served it. My fault. The seasonings used in the flour were very simple but good. The end result is a crispy, non-greasy, good tasting chicken. The eggs were nicely scrambled, lightly, to my specifications. And I really appreciated the lack of phony butter flavor to cook the eggs. The waffle was big and nicely done, but not as crunchy as I had noted before. Maybe a special request of the chef would have helped. Mr. B had a hamburger combo and requested onion rings instead of potato. The burger was beautifully done considering this is a small diner. And the onion rings had him moaning and not willing to share, almost. He was feeling magnanimous about the time he had eaten almost all of them. For a Sunday morning, this turned out to be a great option. Although there were tons of cars in the parking lot, it seems they were all folks in a nearby church who had not gotten out yet. But by 10:30 a.m. it started to get busy. Since this is a small place, glad we came early. 3.5 starts, maybe a little higher. I shall round it up.
