Harvey’s Autotech

I absolutely cannot recommend Harvey’s highly enough! Their work is phenomenal, their customer service is unbeatable, and their speed of repairs is remarkable. The owner, Harvey himself, will take the time to answer all of your questions and make you feel at ease. The reception staff is incredibly kind and they make you feel like family. I’ve used several other mechanics in Corona and none can compare to the satisfaction Harvey’s has provided.

Today I went to Harvey’s for a smog check on my car and it was a delightful experience. Everyone was friendly and chatty and the service was quick and professional. I will be going to Harvey’s again.

Harveys is the only place I will take my cars. He is honest, caring and the work is always spot on. Honestly you will not find a better shop around.

My truck broke down yesterday the alternator went out. Thankfully within a minute from this shop (never been here before) I called an Harvey answered the phone and was very helpful with info, pricing and even offered to come help me get my truck to his shop if I couldn’t make it. I was able to have it jumped and made it in around 4:45 unfortunately my truck chose to brake at closing time. but they still took my info an had me leave my truck there overnight an it was fixed by 10:30 this morn so definitely not bad timing. It cost $ 340.00 unfortunately they didn’t have any coupons other then the $ 10 off Unilocal.But the customer service was good an friendly. I would definitely recommend this business.

So I have a 95 Camry with a stubborn sunroof
One day it made a weird noise and then just stopped working it would not close and it was left almost halfway open. I tried closing it by myself it did not work I looked at mechanics and I found one close distance to me and it was Harvey’s. They could tell I was very stressed but I was surely in relief when I spoke to Harvey and found they were very helpful and friendly and time efficient
I definitely will return if I have any other issues in my car

I am a senior aged woman who has little knowledge of engines and how vehicles work. When married, my husband took care of the cars. So I ended up having a fuel leak which scared me silly as it was all over my driveway. Long story short, a friend highly recommended Harvey who has been taking care of his cars for over a decade. I took my vehicle in and asked to have a private talk with Harvey. Harvey was direct, to the point on who he is and how he does business. I was impressed. He said he’d call me with an initial assessment and quote. He did, in fact, call me when he said he would. Price quoted was more than reasonable. The vehicle was in the shop one day and everything was fixed … Came in under the original quote!!! Harvey is a man of integrity and honesty. Most car places see a woman come in and they concoct wild stories about the car’s needs… Ca-​Ching!!! Not Harvey!

Found that place two months ago, was looking for a VW garage for my 1987 Vanagon that had failed a smog test, it failed because of an ignition timing related problem that was not even applicable to my vehicle and the guy at that smog inspection station (san pedro) tried to sell /​install parts that were not even related to the failed test, basically he was trying to rob me, I was not going at that same station again to redo the test even if it meant costing me more at another station. So I was trying to find a place that would look at it and redo the test, found a VW shop but they wouldn’t look at it because my Vanagon was to old but told me to try Harvey’s Autotech, thank god they did, I when over, told them about my situation (the failed test) and the reason it failed, Went out with kevin to look at it and agreed to redo the test, in his opinion there was no reason it should have failed, redid the test and it passed! When it was all done I said to the girls in front Lynn and Kerri that they just deserved to have me as a customer from now on
Two days ago I went back with my other vehicle Ford Explorer Sportrack for a brake, coolant leak job and oil change, I keep my promise, I went back and like the last time the experience was great, the owner gave me a ride home and got to chat on how the business started a long long time ago, cool to talk too
The only thing, I’ll have to tell Lynn to stop calling me honey, my wife is getting jealous ;-)

I was on my 3 hour trip back home when all of a sudden my car started to smoke up! I had to pull off in the middle of I don’t know where. I checked my phone for the nearest auto shop and found Harvey’s. I’m not from the area so this was a tough situation.
When I called, Harvey actually answered the phone. I talked to him personally and he not only calmed me down but drove to where I was to check out my car. He had me follow him to the shop, got me in right away and I was on the road in no time. Great service and a great price! Thank you so much Harvey for all your help! This place is great!!!

Harvey and his crew are very honest and will go out of their way to fix the problem without adding on anything extra. If you need a ride home, they have a shuttle that drops you off and picks you up, no extra charge. It was raining and One of the guys even walked me to the car with an umbrella.

Harvey’s Autotech is extremely helpful, trustworthy and doesn’t leave the customer guessing on what exactly is or isn’t being fixed. I’ve brought my ’02 Lancer in countless times, including this past weekend with the various problems it’s had being an older car, and I have always left satisfied.
Harvey’s will always have my business, excellent place!

the best experience ever. we came to corona to buy a car and Harvey’s auto shop did an amazing job doing a vehicle inspection and smog test. they were friendly, great skilled mechanics and trusted service! ty

Went in to get some work done my vehicle was making some noise. Was quoted a price to fix the noise and it seemed a bit high but I really just wanted to take care of it. Come to pick up my vehicle and turns out the noise was not fixed. And to get it fixed now they want an additional amount of $ more than originally quoted in the beginning. Very disappointed as I work in servicing others. If in the wrong you own up to it. I understand time is money but it goes both ways too.
Day later to give you an update. Got the rattleing noise fixed at a mechanic down the street for ²⁄₃ the price of their quote. After they replaced the wrong part.

Always a great place to take a any car for service. Always straight forward and helpful.
Had to get a smog over my lunch hour and they took me right in.

These no good time to have problems with your car. But this place helps with everything from getting your car smogged to a full overhaul. Had a problem with my water pump and had me out in half a day. If you call ahead they have loaner cars for you to use. The entire staff including Harvey himself bent over backward to accommodate my last minute repairs.
They are also low pressure they don’t push the upsell that many other places do.

Great service, great communication, and always honest. I have been taking my cars here for several years and they fix them right the first time.

Fast, quick work. Friendly customer service. Prices are decent, not expensive but not cheap. Hi blaise!

I recently moved in the area, and was looking for a good mechanic. I came across Harvey’s Autotech in the yellow pages. Looked like a pretty good, honest repair shop. I took my car there because my check engine light came on. I knew what it was the catalytic converter, however, I wanted a quote for repair. One of the mechanic was friendly and verified that it was in fact the catalytic converter and directed me to go inside the shop for a price check. I told the gentlemen and he started making phone calls about pricing. He asked me for my name and telephone number and that he would call me by 1:00. However, I never received a phone call from them. So i took my car elsewhere and got the repairs done. I would of been a customer but they lost my business.

They are a honest group. They do not try to give you a run-​around like other places. They tell you what is wrong, how to fix it and at a great price. And they Are Not out to get your money.
Harvey and his crew were extremely accommodating and nice. The receptionist– I believe her name is Carrie– is great and friendly. I was at the shop for extensive work on my car and she treated me like family. All of them treat you like family.
Love it here. I won’t be going anywhere else for car work. Thanks Harvey’s! :)

…just a quick follow-​up, Harvey felt bad about the issues we’d
incurred so he offered to cover a portion of the prior break costs. I still wish some things could’ve been remedied sooner-​but kudos to him for wanting to gain our trust back.

Harvey and his crew are Top Notch in service and customer service. I would not think twice when I get a request for automotive repairs.
