last week I called them up and this Rude Guy answered the Phone like a complete idiot with every question“Yeah, Yeah and Yeah” Sounded like He did not want to work there! All I was asking Him if this was the right Phone, address and name of place. After talking to Him I decided to Eat somewhere Else.

So disappointed! Bought fish meal for a total of $ 10; I didn’t have cash, was told to use debit card there is a charge of$ 1.20! Unacceptable! I asked why didn’t they have it posted on the door there is a hefty penalty for not having cash. No reply, I told her I was only asking for others because I would never patronize this establishment again. AND I will spread the word!

This was awful… I was in the mood for fish so I thought to try this place out… WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!!! I had to wait 5 mins before placing my order, cost 1.19 to use debit, and it took 45 minutes til my food was ready… this one lady came in and I guess she was a regular but her taste buds must be fucking broken… my food was so bland you would think they never knew salt existed, but salt is in the name sssssooooo who knows… if you trust my advise, don’t go here… there is one person there and it’s an old Asian man that looks like he may not wash his hands after he touches his ding dong…

The fish and chips are delicious! The place is run down and old but I usually get the food to go. I’ve been eating their food since I was kid and now my kids love it too. Definitely bring cash because their debit machine is a joke. Don’t let the outside taint your view.

I was going to get some sushi at my favorite spot Maki Yaki but decided to try this place instead… What was I thinking??? The place looks so run down… they opened the door since it’s cold outside so I guess they won’t have to turn the AC on.
Service was okay… I’m so glad I have cash with me otherwise they charge a $ 1.19 debit fee which is ridiculous! I had my order to go and ate the fish and chips in my office and on my first bite I told myself how ironic it is that the place is named H SALT when there’s no salt on my food! The food is so bland and you can just taste the grease… Totally Mcnasty! I would not go back.

I had heard about H Salt and love Fish so I thought this would be a winner
NOT, SOOO NOT!
Run down strip mall, walked in and it was so dirty, stank and empty, not even any employees in sight that after standing there for a minute plugging our noses that we realized WTH are we doing here and walked out, this place needs to be shut down!

We called today to ask a question about the menu and the lady who answered was extremely rude! She told me that she didn’t have time for questions and hung up! And we tried ordering something on the menu that was sold out

Went here tonight and ordered fried clams. Tiny portion for the price. Also ordered fish and chips. They were good but my husband asked for extra tartar sauce and they said its 65 cents extra. I really hate going to places where they charge for every little thing! That is just bad business to me. No wonder the place isn’t busy! Also they charge 1.20 to use ATM. Won’t be going back!

Good food but I recommend a different location. I’m not one that expects to be treated like royalty, just courteously. When calling in an order, I couldn’t even place my order because of the extreme and uncalled for rudeness of the woman who answered.

Yummy. Hard to believe you can still find good fish n chips let alone find an H Salt Fish N Chips.
This store is a little run down in a strip center but don’t let the looks fool you the fish is amazing. The fries are good.
They have a very small dining area about 6 booths. Take cash, no credit cards. They do have an ATM but charge you a $ 1.5 to use it plus bank fees.
If you like Fish N Chips this is the place for you.

the interior of this place is a little run down and the ambience is kind of depressing
the main menu consists of fish, chips, fried shrimp, calimari, scallops
and combinations of either ingredients. the food is made to order so you may have to wait a while if you order a lot of fish. i got COMBO C which came with 2 pieces of fish and 2 pieces of jumbo shrimp w/​chips. i liked both the shrimp and fish but their fries are not really tasty =/​i guess the size of the fish makes up for the mediocre fries :) umm we also ordered their hush puppies which they said is deep fried cornbread. i enjoyed the hush puppies even though it didnt taste like corn bread to me
overall i think its a decent place if you want fish and chips at an affordable price

I came in and was blown away I fed myself and my daughter for 10.00 for seafood? whoa and it was awesome!!! We will definitely be back for more! Thank you H salt for being economy friendly with great value!
